Terminator 3

Disadvantages: not everyone likes action

...I have been looking forward to terminator 3 to hit the cinemas for a long time, I always knew they would make a 3rd and maybe a 4th terminator movie and even with the loss of James Cameron who directed terminator one and two which are two of the best films from the past quarter of a century, T3 is still a very good film and stays true to the past two films. Now directed by Jonathan Mostow this film is a smooth sit back and leave your brain at home summer action blockbuster which may put people off but hopefully not many because with a budget of $200m the filmmakers will want as many people as possible to see this film. Terminator 3...is this the end?

Advantages: More great action
Disadvantages: a little short of the previous 2

...would never become, but with the arrival of the T-X it soon becomes apparent that the end of the human race is still inevitable. With twist and turns starting in the very first terminator film and a slightly confusing plot line which does need a little concentration to keep up. In T3 we see skynet still being turned on by the and declaring war on the entire world, we also get to see some stunning stunt and some amazing special effects. With Skynet fully functional the action really takes a turn as the machines begin the rampage over human kind. With John and Kate heading for what they think could save the world they are followed and continuously attacked by the T-X. ...Winter was coming, the nights were colder, and so going out was definitely out of the question! Terminator 3: What Happened?

Advantages: If you have seen the first two, the film will keep you hooked to the screen
Disadvantages: The film is a dissapointing editon to the terminator family

...I saw this film back in 2003 when it was first released, being a extreme fan of the terminator series i was excited to see what kind of plot they have devised after the second film. I can honestly say i was dissapointed, the film was not awful, but it did run away from the plot in the second film, the acting from arnie himself was poor in this movie, when arnie plays the role of the terminator he usually is very good at acting like the cybernetic organism known a the terminator. In the first Terminator movie, Arnold Schwarzenegger was the bad terminator sent back in time to kill Sarah O'Connor (played by Linda Hamilton) to stop her from giving birth to John O'Connor. Advantages: Graphics, playability, blu-ray player!

...I have been umming and arring over which colsole to buy, the Xbox 360 or Playstation 3. I had heard a lot of positive things about the Xbox, and I had also heard that graphics wise and gaming wise the Xbox was slightly better than the Playstation 3. However, I eventually decided to go for the Playstation 3 for several reasons. Firstly, and probably mainly, was because of the recent decision to cancel production of the HD-DVD format (a format which the Xbox 360 is developed to play), meaning that the Blu-Ray dvd format ( a format that the Playstation 3 is developed to play) will dominate the High Definition DVD market in the near future.
