Disadvantages: the Biggest ride can be inactive for a few hours while the park gets busy and spanish kids have no manners so they just push in!

...Oh the humble old nova what a fantastic car, the first of my nova's was the 1.2 antibes limited edition in a fantastic blue colour, what a car I absolutely loved it. I couldnt help but fall in love with it the moment I saw it. The Nova 1.2 8 valve what a great little car with a great little engine. This engine is brilliant I had no problems at all with the nova I had. I only finally got rid of it because I was short of cash and my friend offered me £300 for it. The nova has brilliant handling, great fuel economy for an engine which gives really good performance. It has a low tax band, great for you first time drivers and to be honest even now nearing 2007 it still has great looks (Well I think so anyway). Advantages: The nova is a great first car
Disadvantages: They lack the modern comforts of newer models.

...I have recently passed my test and bought a vauxhall nova, there are people that think this great little cars are terriable and that they are only for rude boys. I completely dis-agree with this ridiculas opinion because they make great first cars. There is many good points for the nova, as well as bad points. The good points are easy to see, The nova is a cheap car to buy and insure. The nova is only in insurance group 3, which makes it ideal for 17 yr olds that have poxy saturday jobs in McDonalds. The nova is very economical to run, they achieve a decent mpg for such a small car. Tax is also cheap because of the size of the car. Now I know that there are people who do buy nova's with the sole intention of adding body kits and thumping sound systems. ...We went to Palma Nova in September/October 2005 for 15 days and had the most fabulous holiday. This was the first time we'd been to Palma Nova so didn't know what to expect but we were more than happy with our choice of resorts. Our trip started at Glasgow Airport and we arrived in Palma 2 hours and 20 minutes later. We arrived at 7-30pm and after the long walk through the airport to collect our luggage, we got a taxi to our accommodation. This took around 40 minutes and cost us 34 euros (we later, on our return taxi to airport realised that we'd been taken the long route as the return journey took around 30 mins and cost us 22 euros!). Our accommodation was rented privately through a friend who owns an appartment so we were able to save on accommodation costs. We used the bus service a lot. Regular buses go all over the island... I only had this car for about a year, this wasn’t because the car let me down or anything like that but I got a good offer for it off my mate and I was looking for a faster car, seen as I am a self confessed speed addict. This was however my first car, it was a simple Vauxhall nova 1.2i spin. Even this model is a fairly nippy car, this is mainly due to the weight of the car, as it is a light car the 1.2 engine is perfect for getting it around. I would say that the 1.2 size is ideal for a couple of reasons:  It is very fuel efficient, if you start to go for a bigger sized engine you will begin to lose its fuel efficiency.  This model is also ideal for young drivers as it is insurance friendly. ...Well it wasn't exactly champagne but I couldn't resist the title! My old, dear, departed Nova was certainly a super car though, lasting well past it's 200,000th mile, not bad for a 1.2 litre engine. I am not one for giving a car a name, but I had my Nova so long that I did get almost affectionate towards it, I said ALMOST! I bought 'her' in 1991 for a mere £3,600 when she was a sprightly young 2 year old with just 60,000 on the clock, having been a company car. I only got £100 trade in for my silver dream machine of a Princess (titter ye not!) but it turned out to be a bargain. Now at the time I was concerened that the mere 1.2 litre engine was not going to be able to propel me to the awesome speeds I had been accustomed to in the mighty 1.7 litre Princess of Doom, this is tongue in cheek ok? ...I have recently come back from a week in the resort of Palma Nova on the south of the island. Palma Nova has recently had a fantastic new promenade built, it's really attractive and in local stone. They have been careful to keep the existing palm trees in place and there are plenty of cafes and seats along the way. It runs from one end of Palma Nova to the beginning of Magaluf right along the bay. The resort is a good place for anyone elderly or if you have young children as it's quite flat and easy to walk round. There are plenty of hotels and restaurants and the whole place is clean and fairly fresh. I was disappointed that there weren't more shops as most of them sold the same sort of goods and were full of slightly downmarket souvenirs, but there was an excellent shop which sold lace in all forms (tablecloths etc...
