Advantages: An evolving fantasy series
Disadvantages: Some persons do not like fantasy
...Pratchett is the chronicler of the events. The Discworld gets into your head, or perhaps it was always there. Take for example the various people. Some of them have been depicted by the artist Paul Kidby. Now with other fantasy books people have their own ideas as to what each character will look like.
