Tescos Finest All Butter Croissants
Review of Tesco Finest Croissants by
SweetTooth93
Advantages: Georgous
Disadvantages: Costly
...TESCO FINEST ALL BUTTER CROISSANTS
It was another boring day, and I was yet again, being dragged around our local Tesco with my mum and two moaning little brothers. I was beginning to get extremely bored, trailing up and down the washing powder aisles and being told to go and fetch boring products such as Tesco Finest Broccoli and tinned peaches. My dowdy facial expression changed however, when we took a U-Turn with our trolley and headed down the bakery aisle.
Immediately I was a lot more cheery and I couldn't wait to choose something to put in our trolley. You see on the occasion my mum takes us down the bakery/patisserie aisle in the supermarket, she allows me and my two little brothers to choose a product each and through it in the trolley. Now today I wasn't in the mood for my usual custard or caramel doughnuts, and after...

TESCO FINEST MASH - NOT SO FINE
Review of Tesco's Finest Creamy Mash by
kismet
Advantages: easy to cook
Disadvantages: very runny
...I try not to buy things like ready made mash because lets face it, how difficult is it to make mash? However, there are always times when you need food in a hurry and dont want dishes to wash up afterwards.
I discovered a mash in Somerfield, Mature Cheddar Mash which is absoultely lovely. So I then decided to give the Tesco Finest mash a go.
TESCO FINEST MASH
++++++++++++++++++
This comes in a round plastic bowl, with a plastic covering and a cardboard wrap. The Tesco Finest range is always in a silver packaging so it is easy to spot.
Tesco Finest products are supposed to be better quality and are therefore dearer.
Tesco Finest Mash is £1.60 for 500g. This is in comparison to their Tesco Fresh Mash Potato which is 88p for 400g. So you get 100g more, but it costs you nearly twice as much! They also sell Healthy...

TESCO FINEST ONION MAYO
Review of Tesco's Finest Roasted Onion Mayonnaise by
micjb
Advantages: EVERYTHING APART FROM THE
Disadvantages: PRICE
...I first came across this at work (Tesco) when a customer asked the exact location of this product or suffer a long and painful death (as they do...).
I eventually found it and that was the very first time I had met it, and beleive me, It was love at first sight! I couldnt wait to clock off at 9pm and rush out to buy it amongst other things.
Anyway...
---THE PRICE---
The price of this tasty article was (if i remember rightly) £1.69, and it is or should be available at most Tesco stores. If you shop at Tesco Metro or Tesco Express though, I wouldnt get my hopes up.
£1.69 is not so bad, considering that it is Tesco Finest, but if like me youre on Tesco wage, it's a bit pricey!
---THE TASTE---
This mayo tastes really creamy, the onion is not to strong but I dont normally like mayo, but I love this one, put it that way...

Tesco Finest Profiteroles.
Review of Tesco Finest Profiterole Dessert by
SweetTooth93
Advantages: Cold flaky chaux pastry, cold creamy smooth cream, delicious creamy yet sweet chocolate.
Disadvantages: Addictive and calorie-ridden.
...If you have read my reviews before you will probably have relized i like most food, espescially sweet things and desserts.
In tescos today, i wandered off by myself as i was bored, and my mum said if i saw anything bring it back and put it in the trolley, i automatically wandered off to the pick and mix, and after stuffing a bag full of £5 worth of chewy and chocolaty sweets i decided to wander back to my mum, obviously taking the route that takes me past the mouth watering desserts aisle.
I wasn't planning on having a look, after all our trolley was already stuffed full of chocolaty, toffee and all kinds of desserts and items from the bakery, but something caught my eye.. TESCO FINEST PROFITEROLE DESSERT.
The dessert was in a plastic container with a tesco finest label wrapped around. It looked quite yummy sitting...

Review of Tesco Finest Half Coated Stem Ginger Biscuits by
karen5416
Advantages: YUCK
Disadvantages: everything about them
...As you probably know from some of my previous ops, My favourite shop is ASDA, well thought I would have a change, the local CO-OP has been taking over by TESCO’S so I thought well a change is as good as a rest, so off I went.
My first thoughts was yeah pretty good, airy and bright, but this op isn’t about the store its about some biscuits.
Well get on with it I hear you scream at me..
Ok lets begin.
I love ginger in any way shape or form, whilst browsing the biscuit aisle I saw these Tesco Finest Half Coated Stem Ginger Cookies, they looked lovely and very luxurious and as I need a treat I grabbed a pkt.
£1.09 for a pkt of 8 large cookies
So I brought my new little friends home and analysed them, mind only for your benefit. I got no joy out of this at all. (And that is the truth ewww)
Packaging.
Silver and black...

Tesco Finest Nourishing Foot Scrub
Review of Tesco Finest Nourishing Foot Scrub by
mints4merlin
Advantages: Smells great & removes dead skin from your feet, leaving them FRESH!
Disadvantages: pricey
...Tesco Finest Nourishing Foot Scrub- Ace for itchy feet! :)
Purchased from: Tesco
Cost: £2.97
Volume: 150 ML
Tested on animals: No
Packaging:
Hard plastic tube which stands upside down. It has a circular cap which clicks open and closed, and the main body of the tube tapers to a clip end. Although hard plastic casing - it's supple enough to squeeze out the scub lotion through the cap for easy use. The packaging is convient, and make use easy and tidy as bottle can be simply washed off.
As this is a tesco Finest range product - the label is a posh silver colour on the front and a smart black colour on the back.
Texture:
A bit watery when first open the pack as water content settles and base of bottle, but as you squeeze more out the consistancy of the lotion becomes more solid and paste like.
Rubbing the lotion between my...

One of Tesco's finest Finest
Review of Tesco Finest Chocolate Brownie Sundae by
hellkat
Advantages: Why, it's chocolate, of course
Disadvantages: Curious cone shaped container
...I can't believe no one has reviewed this product.
This is a seriously rich chocolate treat!
There's something for every sort of chocoholic: dark chocolate syrup, (milk) chocolate mousse, white chocolate mousse, chunks of really rich and soft chocolate brownie with slightly crispy edges . . . and cream.
I may have forgotten something (small chocolatey balls, or curls on top of the cream, perhaps) ... but who cares? Its divine!
Each different taste and texture is like a mouthful of chocolate depravity. One finds oneself digging below the nice things to just *test* the even nicer looking things beneath, and then going back to the stuff on top because ... it was so delicious the first time round. Seriously good comfort eating here, folks.
The only peculiarity to the Tesco Finest Chocolate Brownie Sundae is that it has...

Tesco's Finest Sun Lotion
Review of Tesco Finest After Sun Lotion by
lawjlove
Advantages: Really works and hydrates your skin - so no peeling
Disadvantages: Cant think of any
...After the brief few days of sun we had last week I made the fatal mistake of falling asleep in the sun in my back garden and as you can guess I got sun burnt, I didn’t really have any sun cream etc in the house so popped down to Tesco’s to see what I could get my hands on only to discover one of the best after sun lotions I have ever used.
Tesco's Finest After Sun Lotion was on offer for half price so i though that I would purchase it and give it ago and I can honestly say that it worked.
Packaging
It comes in a blue 200ml pump bottle which is blue in colour with little stars on it.
Product:
The bottle says that it rehydrates your skin for 12 hours, contains antioxidants, nourishes, soothes and calms your skin, and it did exactly that for me.
The product itself was easily absorbed and didn’t leave your skin feeling sticky...

Tesco Finest balsamic vinegar £3.00
Review of Tesco Finest Balsamic Vinegar de Modena by
mbeardsworth
Advantages: Fantasic flavour on a par with much more expensive vinegars
Disadvantages: none at present
...of both.
Then i have the Tesco finest or Adsa vintage extra special is equally good with its distinctively rich and sweet smooth flavour, which i use for salad dressing or so forth.
Then saving my best for last i have my Selfridges 'Maletti' Aceto Balsamico which cost me £25.00 which i only ever use a drop or two of on strawberries or special dishes.
Do not be alarmed at this price i saw a bottle in Bellagio for over £100.00 pounds.
One last thing to add is that the bottle is great as are lots of vinegar bottles you can use as i do as a small vase.
So go ahead start off with a bottle from tesco to enhance your meat, fish, fruit and veg. The possibitlites are endless and you will impress your friends too....

Tesco's Finest...
Review of Tesco Finest Mushroom, Leek and Gruyere Filo Parcels by
rowei
Advantages: Delicious
Disadvantages: Quite expensive
...I'm sure we've all been in this situation at some time or other: you go to look in the fridge/freezer for something nice for dinner and absolutely nothing takes your fancy. For me, this happens on a regular basis. After a long day at work, I can't always be bothered to cook and often pop into Marks & Spencer to see what I can find. Unfortunately, I normally take the easy option and buy a ready meal - naughty, I know! However, these can not only be very expensive but also quite unhealthy.
In recent weeks, I've been trying to change the way I buy food. I now tend to buy something that will last for a few days and cook up some vegetables to go with it each night. Pies are very good in this respect. They go with almost any vegetable and are very tasty. Recently, on a shopping trip to Tesco, I discovered Mushroom, Leek and Gruyère Filo...
