Babyliss Bath Spa
Review of Babyliss Bath Spa by  JennyS

Advantages: Affordable and easy to use
Disadvantages: The bath water gets cold as you spend so much time in the bath

...Years ago my other 'arf' bought me the Babyliss hairdryer and footspa. Last Christmas I got the best so far with the Bath Spa. I eventually found out that he purchased it from a large Boots store that stocked the other spa that has the 'jacuzzi' mat as well, so hint for him to get one day!!!!! It is everything that it advertises plus a bit more. Easy to install and it can be left on the bath afterwards for months at a time. The flex is adequate to reach a power source and child friendly as well. I liked the option of using the hose but I would have preferred it to be a little longer, otherwise you could injure yourself trying to get it to the right spot. It is blue and white and sadly as I have a blue bathroom suite it matched quite well with the colour and fittings. They could also improve this by selling this is different... Read review

Just expensive bubble bath
Review of Dove Spa Mineral Bath Soak by  rory7411

Advantages: Long lasting scent, moisturising
Disadvantages: Expensive

...Dove products are made by the Lever Faberge group who have a freephone customercare number on 08000851548. Dove Spa Mineral Bath Soak is a new addition to their range and should be readily available from supermarkets and chemists. Tescos are currently selling a 500ml bottle for £2.96 with a pound off if you buy 2. The packaging is very understated, the bottle is made of recyclable white opaque plastic with a blue flip up lid, down the front is a clear green panel through which you can see the level of the product, I thought it was a nice helpful innovation. The front label's got the Dove logo claiming 1/4 moisturising cream and a pale green image of drops of water. I'm assuming that the green accents are a deliberate ploy as when you take the top off the contents are actually a pale opalescent green colour. The package makes... Read review

Tesco's Bargain Baby Bath
Review of Tesco My Baby Bath by  jens25

Advantages: Low price and excellent quality
Disadvantages: none

...Ciao have agreed to my product proposal, it’s the first time I have suggested a product and it only took a couple of days – I am very impressed! At the moment I am on a real economy drive so I am trying to cut the cost of various items with out compromising on quality – is it possible? I have already switched baby wipes to Tesco's own brand (please see previous review) and have just finished our first large bottle of Tesco My Baby Bath. I have just started on he Tesco baby powder so I will write a review on that at a later date. I bought the 750ml of Tesco My Baby Bath for £1.28, this is a large bottle and compares to £2.17 for just 500ml of Johnsons Baby Bath – a real saving. ****What do you get**** The baby bath comes in a light blue bottle with a slightly darker coloured lid with a flip top so you don’t have to unscrew... Tesco My Baby Night time bath
Review of Tesco My Babys Bedtime Bath by  loopeyuk

Advantages: Costs alot less than leading brands!
Disadvantages: None

...Dreamy Bedtime! I was using Johnson's bedtime bath on my daughter as she would be up until 10pm every night and thought the bed time bath would help relax her and get her more ready for bedtime! It worked really well, but the cost for one 500ml is £2.47 (Tesco online price) and when you bath a baby every night before bed it soon gets used up. I discovered Tesco Night time bath with lavebder Oil about a month ago. It costs £1.00 for 400ml and does exactly the same as the Johnson's brand. * No tears Formula *Helps relax and calm *Paediatrician approved *Hypoallergenic Everything you would expect from a leading brand! I have used it for a month and our daughter loves the rich bubbles that it creates and the smell of the lavender bath oil is lovely. Not too over powering like some brands can be. It also has added... Read review

I no longer need to fart in the bath
Review of Babyliss Bath Spa by  jimblob

Advantages: Relaxing and odour free
Disadvantages: .

...After a long day at work there is nothing more relaxing than a nice soak in a hot bath, actually, that’s a lie, there is something more relaxing, a nice long hot soak in a Jacuzzi. The nearest I ever got to a Jacuzzi was to fart in the bath! If I had a lot of spare dosh I suppose I could have bought a bath-cum-Jacuzzi and savoured the delights without having to eat copious amounts of beans and cabbage, but I don’t have any spare cash so I have to make do somehow. Tired of having to fumigate the bathroom after me, my wife went out and bought me the Babyliss bath spa. This brilliant gadget simply fits over the edge of your bath and farts into the bath water for you. You can set it to give you a relaxing ripple or to give you the maximum flatulence effect; whichever suits your needs at the time. It comes complete... Read review

Spa...Ha Ha Ha
Review of Babyliss Bath Spa by  scribbelle

Advantages: a nice idea
Disadvantages: doesn't really do anything

...Right Babyliss bath spa....where shall I begin? With the cost I think. Really expensive even when you buy them in Argos or Index. The prices start from £44.50 for the basic model through to the cordless model for £66. I have the one in the middle identical to the cordless but with a cord! It cost me £55 from the Littlewoods catalogue. The unit The unit is a fairly bulky contraption that hangs over the side of your bath tub. You fill your bath with warm water up to the mark on the unit, plug the long lead into the power transformer supplied and plug into the nearest mains socket. (a very long lead is supplied so it is able to stretch into another room where there is a power supply). A nice idea The unit has two water outlets which lie under the water line swirling the water around the a tub creating a jacuzzi in your own bath... Read review

Have a Bath spa in Georgian splendour
Review of Royal Crescent Hotel, Bath by  SilverCamel

Advantages: Luxury, Location & Service
Disadvantages: Not for the Budget Conscious

...tubs by the poolside each big enough for 4 adults and each with a different temperature of water. I didn't indulge in any of the massages or spa treatments on offer but I wish that I had. We had one dinner in the hotel restaurant and I would recommend booking a table here even if you're not a resident. The food was an artistic and culinary triumph with a wine list to match. This is the kind of dinner I live for. Don't plan on doing anything for the evening, relax, sit back and take hours to digest each course and sample some outstanding wines. I can't remember the service here which in my opinion can only mean that it was as it should be - efficient and unobtrusive. Finally, at one point during our stay we were returning to the hotel with shopping bags (there are a good selection of shops in Bath and be sure to visit Jolly... Read review

Just vibrate or bubble and heat?
Review of Tesco FOOT SPA by  spottydog2

Advantages: Soothing, relaxing.
Disadvantages: Too much hassle to use often.

...Last Christmas I received a Tesco`s Foot Spa as a present. I was pleased to have been given the opportunity to try it, as I knew I would not buy one myself. At the same time as being pleased, I thought where am I going to keep it as it is quite big. Anyway, looking positively, I could not wait to try it. Appearance * * * * * * * * * The Tesco Foot Spa is predominanty white with pale blue at the front and stripes at the bottom. The feet are pale blue. It is plastic. The inner bottom where you place your feet has hundreds of nodules to stimulate your feet. At the back there are two little mounds with larger bobbles on, presumably to rest your heels on if you wish, though I find it a bit uncomfortable if you do, you don`t have to. There is another larger mound in the middle. This is quite comfortable when you rest your... Read review

You wont want to get out the bath
Review of Babyliss Bath Spa by  Pippy

Advantages: Pure relaxation
Disadvantages: Where to plug it in

...The Babyliss Bath spa is an excellent compromise if you dream of having your own Jacuzzi with the ease of being able to remove it when you want to. If you are feeling tired and in need of a little tender loving care there is nothing more relaxing than a warm bubbling bath with a glass of your favourite alcoholic beverage and a few candles. I must admit though on the first few occasions that I used it I got carried away with the bubble bath and soon found myself with more bubbles than bath. You can use bubble bath but the quantity needs to be reduced considerably. The items sits neatly on the side of the bath and is powered by a transformer. The only problem with that is where to plug it in as plug sockets are not fitted in bathrooms. Nevertheless the inconvenience of a little wire running across the floor is nothing compared...
