Tesco moisturising antibacterial handwash.
Review of Tesco Moisturising Antibacterial Handwash by
smcccc
Advantages: Inexpensive.
Disadvantages: Disadvantages Left my hands dry not moisturised!
...I suffer from dry hands and I'm always on the lookout for a good and inexpensive handwash with moisturising properties,
This handwash I am reviewing is a Tescos own brand of
moisturising antibacterial handwash, and comes in a
bluey/green user friendly bottle with pump action.
As its an antibacterial with moisturiser it will cleanse and moisturise your hands and will also kill any harmful germs and neutralise any smells.
And is suitable for dry sensitive skin.
Tesco states it has an odour neutralising fragrance and has been tested on fish, onions and garlic.
As I do most of the cooking and cleaning at home and I also have dry skin, I thought I'd try this one to see if it really does what it says.
Only a small amount is needed as it lathers quite well,
there is a slightly sweet, fresh smell to it which lingers a while...

Tesco value handwash
Review of Tesco Value Handwash by
jenny967
Advantages: handy to have near the kitchen sink
Disadvantages: none that I can think off
...While in Tescos a few weeks back I noticed their own brand of liquid hand wash, I dont usually use the liquid hand washes but decided to give this one a go, something thats handy to have by the kitchen sink, especially if you have kids.
Description
This handwash cost me around 40p, the bottle is 500ml and is clear, the liquid inside is blue in colour and the it has a pump action lid which is white, around the bottle there is the usual blue and white Tescos value label.
On the label it states that this hand wash will "help to leave feeling clean and fresh" and also that Tesco promises to refund or replace if the product is not of the standard you expect,
Some of the ingredients included are as follows:
Aqua
Sodium Chloride
Sulfate
Sodium Laureth
Glycol
Enviroment advice
On the label it also gives enviromental...

The Smell of Sunshine -Tesco Sunflower Handwash
Review of Tesco Liquid Soap by
putsy
Advantages: Luxurious and quality handwash with a gorgeous smell.
Disadvantages: Nothing to do with real sunflowers.
...Tesco Finest Sunflower Handwash
In short I would describe this liquid handwash as the perfect hand soap for your downstairs toilet. Its delicate and very pleasant smell is guaranteed to impress your dinner guests and the clear, simple, transparent bottle would suit the style of any bathroom. And it will leave a lovely, light fragrance floating in the air for the next person visiting the loo.
---The Appearance---
The bottle is very simple, 190ml clear pump bottle, the pump is black. On the front of the bottle is a yellow picture of a sunflower. The liquid soap itself is clear too so you can see through the bottle. It doesn't look posh or expensive but elegant enough compared to most liquid soap pump bottles. The bottle is tall and narrow which I find very handy as my toilet's sink is very small and I always struggle to balance...

A great handwash at a great price!
Review of Tesco Moisturising Antibacterial Handwash by
rowei
Advantages: Soft and gentle on hands, nice smell, good value for money
Disadvantages: None
...Liquid soap has got to be one of the best household inventions ever. It is not only more hygienic than normal soap, but it also tends to last longer.
In our house, we always use it in the kitchen. I am normally the one who buys it, but I can't say I'm loyal to just one particular brand. I will happily try any brand as long as it is fairly reasonably priced. In the past, I have bought brands like Radox and Palmolive, and although they are very good, they can be a bit pricey...unless you buy them on a special offer, of course! Recently, whilst shopping in Tesco, I noticed a 250ml container of antibacterial handwash for only 54p. This was less than half the price of the Carex one and seemed like a real bargain!
** PACKAGING **
Unlike some well-known brands, which can look quite fancy, Tesco Moisturising Antibacterial Handwash...

Tesco Value Handwash 500ml
Review of Tesco Liquid Soap by
mssp60
Advantages: convenience to use liquid soap
Disadvantages: Liquid soaps are more expensive than bar soaps
...Now a days more and more soap manufacturers are making products available in liquid format. I tended to find that the liquid soaps are more expensive when you compare it with bar soaps. Having seen a few I purchased Tesco Value handwash, it is a 500ml bottle and only cost 64pence. The bottle is a pump dispenser. The best thing about liquid soap dispensers is the convenience. Just depress the plunger and rub your hand together under running water. This was the cheapest when I compared the prices with similar liquid soap products. I was not expecting much but I am very please with the product having used in for several weeks. I have found Tesco products do give you good value for money. The liquid comes in light blue colour. The liquid soap has nice smell. it is a mild smell just perfect. It does clean your hands.
Pack Size: 500ml...

Radox Clean & Replenish Handwash
Review of Radox Clean & Replenish Handwash by
lilyellowfish
Advantages: Kind & caring to your hands, leaves them feeling soft & replenished
Disadvantages: Expensive if not on offer, not anti-bacterial
....
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Price & Availability
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
For a 300ml bottle you are looking to pay approximately between £1.50 and £1.90 depending where you purchase it from. I get mine from Sainsbury's and that costs me £1.66, but other supermarkets such as Tesco and Asda can charge a little less. It is widely available in all supermarkets, drug stores such as Boots and Superdrug and I have also heard it's available in Wilkinsons for quite a reduced price. You can also purchase the handwash from several websites on the internet, but I tend to find you are more likely to pay nearer to £1.90 along with postage and packaging and you also have to then wait for the item to be delivered so I don't find this worth it. Quite regularly supermarkets and Superdrug have offers on Radox products, such as buy one get one free, as those happen quite often, you...

BOGOF at Tesco until 11/9/07. Moisturise hands.
Review of Carex Collagen Boost Moisturising Handwash by
spottydog2
Advantages: Hands feel smooth, soft and moiturised, lovely scent.
Disadvantages: None.
...I wash my hands quite a lot both at work and at home. At work I need to maintain good hygiene standards on a hospital ward and at home I wash them after dealing with my horses, dog or budgies and before cooking. At home I like to use a moisturising handwash so that frequent hand washing will not be detrimental to my skin. Combined with a good handcream, it keeps my hands in good condition, even in winter. I look for a good quality, moisturising handwash though I haven`t until now, stuck to any particular one. Now that I have discovered Cussons Carex Collagen Boost moisturising handwash, I will certainly buy it again.
The Price.

Tescos Antibacterial Handwash
Review of Tesco Liquid Soap by
DylanD
Advantages: Smells gorgeous
Disadvantages: Couldn't get rid of the smell of bleach but C'est le vie...
...this soap though is you don't need to pump out alot to get a good lather going and my hands feel so soft and moisturised after each use. I sometimes use it without water as a handcream which seems just as effective.
All in all another good value buy from Tescos, I will certainly be buying this product again rather than the imperial leather version which is slightly more pricier....

A Luxurious Pampering Handwash
Review of Radox Handwash Replenish by
Leighsa
Advantages: Smells gorgeous, leaves hands soft and replenished.
Disadvantages: Cannot not think of any.
...A really nice one, this is.
Usually a carex fan, but bought this when it was on a 'Buy one, get one free promotion'.
This is a lovely creamy liquid with a delicious peachy aroma. It is such a pleasure to use it - it makes you think that you're using something really special during a pampering session, but of course it's only a £1.39 handwash from tescos !
I can't think of anything negative about it. It has a perfect consistency, not too runny and not lumpy thick. It also leaves hand smelling really nice and soft. I actually end up wash my hands longer with using this !
I'm really glad Radox has come out with this, as my hands are usually quite dry after washing, so this is definitely a life saver for my little mitts.
Before this, I have always only associated Radox with mens shower gels - obviously they've moved on...
