...I have been ordering food from Tesco via the Internet for the past 3 months, I have been absolutely thrilled to bits with the sevice. I have had a few hiccups but on calling Customer Services and explaining they have gone out of their way to be as helpful and rectify any problems immediately. I have been given extra shopping that I have not ordered and advised to keep the items with Tesco's compliments. I have also returned goods not required and my bank account has been recredited within a couple of working days. The delivery people are also super. I have to say that I give a 10 out of 10 for the service. Something I was concerned about was receiving naff fruit and veg but I have only received the best of everything and I am usually a very difficult customer to please. P.S. There is a £5.00 delivery charge for this service....

...This Tesco Internet Phone is a USB-wired little phone which was created to be used with Tesco internet phone service. I couldn't care less of that service but I was very interested in buying a a cheap PC phone to use on skype and I read this would work ok. The price was an absolute deal... 1p! You don't belive me? Tesco Internet Shopping - YIPPEE

Advantages: No more supermarket visits, frees up time and reduces stress.
Disadvantages: Less items to choose from and you do not get the benefits of attractive packaging.

Advantages: Very cheap, collect clubcard points

Tesco trains

...Santa bought my four year old the lovely mountain train set made by tesco. He desperately wanted a train set and when we were in Toysrus we would look at the brio sets and then look around the other toys. It was not unitl near to Christmas that I actually decided to look at the price. I was horrified to discover how expensive brio train sets were. I looked in several other shops ELC etc but they too were too expensive. I found a cheap set in ASDA but it did not seem to be compatabile with brio or even near to the quality, so I decided not to buy the train set from there either. When we were shopping in Tescos my son pointed out the train sets and took a real interest in a lovely mpuntain train set which had had a wooden train set, a little bridge, wooden animals, trees, tunnels, trains, carriages,sign and mountains all for £24...

...Tescos is King of all supermarkets and I think that they are best for value in the long term or in the big shop as well. As a student I have found that the tesco down the road from me is my new home, as opposed to the Centre up the road that can be so expensive some times in comparison. Tescos sells your average grocerys as well as dvd's and electricals, clothes, office supplies, tobacco and confectionary, alcohol, cards for special occassions and toys. Everything you need seems to almost be in one store, there is also a tesco value line that provides Tescos own products at a cheaper price. Advantages: Cheap, easy to use, versatile
Disadvantages: Requires ADSL (Broadband), Requires topping up

...The tesco internet phone allows communication (Voice over IP) to be achieved without a landline phone connection. High Bandwidth speeds (Broadband/ADSL) is required. This phone connects via USB to a computer through the cradle. The cradle also allows the wireless phone to be charged. Whilst configuring the phone with the computer, it is possible to route all calls to a computer microphone and speaker (for hands free) which is good - however there is a slight echo/or repeat at times. The wireless phone provided reception throughout the house, and part of the garden - great if your spending time outside. An address book can be produced - accessable on both the phone and the computer - the software running in the taskbar tray constantly. A nice introduction to VOIP

Advantages: Free phone calls to other users, Easy to use
Disadvantages: Software is a bit buggy

...the phone to your ear! Calling quality is pretty good, my only gripe is the constant echo of your own voice when you speak, but other then that it's forgivable. I first called a landline number and was on the phone for roughly 5 minutes without a hitch. It's the same with calling Tesco phones, the call quality is excellent. The software provides a link to your account, so you can manage how much calling credit you have (Pay as you go) and what calls you have made. Thankfully nearly all calls are priced at 2p a minute and calls to other Tesco Internet phone users are free. The keyword there is Tesco, unfortuanatly, if you want to call other Internet phone users (not on Tesco), you'll have to download Skype, which leads onto you having two phone numbers! Interestingly, my friends brought one of these when they moved to Australia...
