Great Juice 2 Go By Tesco
Review of Tesco Apple & Blackcurrant Juice Drink by  chocliteclair

Advantages: No added sugar, added vitamins, cheap, re-usable bottles
Disadvantages: None that I've found

...Despite my children being a fan of Robinson’s Fruit Shoot I personally find them very sweet and sickly, not to mention quite expensive unless on special offer or hunted down in my local Poundland shop and so my review is about a great alternative that will not only please the kids but also save you a few pennies. /\/\/\/\Tesco Apple & Blackcurrant Juice Drinks/\/\/\/\ This juice is sold exactly the same as Fruit Shoots in small bottles with the same pop-up sports nozzle with a neat plastic cap that can be replaced to keep the nozzle free from those pesky flies etc. thus keeping it hygienic and clean until finished. The plastic cap should be taken away from younger children though as it can cause a choking hazard! My son is 4 now but I still hold on to this bit when I open the juice, whether it’s just a boy thing I don’t know... Read review

TESCO PURE ORANGE JUICE
Review of Tesco Pure Orange Juice - Smooth by  sear69

Advantages: IT IS GOOD FOR YOU
Disadvantages: NONE

...I always crave orange juice after a big drunken night out. The other day after a night on the tiles my partner went to Tesco and remembered how I always like a drink of orange the next day and got me some Tescos pure orange juice. Infact I ended up with two cartons of the stuff and my partner had a carton of apple juice because there was an offer of three cartons for £1.90. THE PACKAGING +++++++++++++++ The cartons are a quite big one litre size and because it is orange juice the carton is coloured orange. There is also a picture of an orange on the carton and it says tesco in red writing across the top and pure orange juice in white writing underneath. Each side of the carton looks the same apart from one, which has all the nutritional information. There is spout with a screw cap on the top of the carton which makes... Read review

Concentrate ! Tesco Value Orange Juice Price Up?
Review of Tesco Value Pure Orange Juice by  queenmaebh

Advantages: Fine everyday family juice
Disadvantages: Value for money rate might be going down

...only buy this Orange Juice brand because it is cheap. When the price gets too close between this one and a better tasting one ..........well ..... we might as well all go to Iceland or the Co-Op or anywhere else. So, keeping half an eye to the price......... Why do we buy it? It's cheap, cheerful, tastes reasonable, and apparently we all need to increase our intake of fruit and juice. What does it taste like? OK, more like orange juice than "real oranges", bit syrupy. Not very sweet considering the sugar content is 26g per 250ml. How is it packaged? This I don't mind, if it keeps costs down and saves unnecessary plastic spouts ending up in the environment. Sold in 1 Litre cartons. Boring but fine thick carton Tetra-type, the usual uninspiring Tesco trademark navy blue colours and red value blazon. (Re-cyclable, where... Read review

Tesco Apple and Mango Juice
Review of Tesco Apple and Mango Juice by  SBROWN487

Advantages: Smooth, refreshing drink
Disadvantages: None

...In my usual rush around the supermarket (not my favourite place) I spotted Tesco Apple and Mango juice amongst their other fruit juices. Normally this is £1.48 for a 1 litre carton but was on special offer of just 98p I am a big fan of J2O drinks, especially the Apple and Mango flavour, but I don't like the price they charge for them. In Tesco at the moment they are selling 8 275ml bottles for £5.00 but this is a special offer and they are normally around £2.80 for 4. If you buy them in a pub you can expect to pay about £1.50 per bottle. Not expecting it to be anything like J2O I thought I would give it a go anyway but only bought one carton in case I was disappointed. I wasn't! This drink is a really refreshing drink for a hot summers day especially mixed with some crushed ice in a long tall glass (thirsty yet... Read review

What is that horrible thing in my juice
Review of Tesco Orange and Grapefruit Juice Longlife by  SusanLesley

Advantages: Usually it tastes delicious
Disadvantages: What WAS this thing in it?

...I am seriously trying to loose some weight and get fit – yes I know you’ve heard it all before but this time I have to do it for my health as I am on the borderline of being diabetic. So it is with this in mind that today I made a fresh fruit salad. I spent about half an hour peeling and cutting an orange, pink grapefruit, grapes, an apple, a banana and a pear. To finish it off I always pour some fresh orange juice over it so I headed to the fridge and got out a carton of Tesco’s Longlife Florida Orange and Grapefruit Juice. This is made from pure juice with no artificial sweeteners and no added water so it’s usually lovely. A one litre carton costs 79p and it comes either as a smooth juice or one ‘with bits’. I buy a lot of cartons of juice from Tesco’s and have never had any cause for complaint before, but read on – if you... Read review

A Pure Orange Juice For Just 35p!
Review of Tesco Value Pure Orange Juice by  micksheff

Advantages: Good Value For Money
Disadvantages: High In Sugar

...They say that Pure Fresh Orange Juice is good for you but I must admit that it is something that I seem to go through phases with. I can quite easily go a couple of months without even thinking about the stuff, then suddenly I find myself buying a Carton and before I know what is happening on my next trip to the Supermarket I find myself filling up my trolley with 3 or 4 Cartons. When the Pure Orange Juice mood takes over me I always tend to buy the cheap Supermarket brand and have bought Asda's Smartprice on many occasions without any complaints. Recently however, during a trip to Tesco I found myself parting with 35p and purchasing a Carton of their Value Pure Orange Juice. The Packaging If you are not familiar with Tesco's Value range then I will begin by saying that it is all packaged pretty much the same. The emphasis... Read review

JUST JUICE
Review of Tesco Value Pure Orange Juice by  katiefinch22

Advantages: TASTES GOOD
Disadvantages: BIT TOO MUCH SUGAR

...Tesco Value pure orange Juice.... Its cheep and it's worth it. I'm not going to bother saying what it is as I'm sure you all know by the name. MY EXPERIENCE...... I really like a glass of orange juice with my breakfast but I never used to buy it as it was too expensive and I used to get it as a treat but when I went into Tesco one day I noticed this juice and the price just being 50p so I brought a carton and took it home and when I tried it I was so happy as I tough it my be horrid as some can be but to my delight it was yummy and I buy it every week now TASTE & TEXTURE....... This juice has a mild orange taste, its not too bitter and it's not too sweet its just right the only thing is that it does taste a bit artificial like it has preservatives & this product does not have any pulp or horrible bits in it. Unlike some... Read review

A Grapefruit juice I'm not to sure about
Review of Tesco Pure Longlife Grapefruit Juice by  dingoo

Advantages: Cheaper prices, good offers, good packaging
Disadvantages: Cheaper taste, poorer quality, seems watered down

...Not that you can write too much about a fruit juice but I’ll try. But a long life juice is a good idea, as you may well know juices sometimes need to be used quite quickly to be enjoyed. By this I mean not left for more then two or three days, although it tastes ok you need to drink it quite quickly. The packaging now helps a lot with the easy pour cartons keeping the drinks fresh longer, but you still can mainly or only buy juices in litre cartons. Tesco have the dynamic pop-tops or screw tops, which help keep the cartons, air tight for keeping taste contained and a longer life. I must say though this longer life seems a bit more watered down then the normal grapefruit juice which would probably tally with long life milk. For taste I have had better but for keeping taste this is by far the best especially I... Read review

ORANGE JUICE THAT IS GOOD VALUE
Review of Tesco Value Pure Orange Juice by  cutesally

Advantages: Great source of Vitamin C
Disadvantages: Lots of sugar content

...I am a huge fan of fresh orange juice and drink it by the gallon so to speak so I don't want to be spending a fortune on it so I bought Tesco Value Orange Juice. Tesco Value is the cheaper range of foods offered by Tesco and in most cases are not too bad especially if you have a large family and the budget isn't that good. As it is a cheaper item the packaging is very minimal and simple, the orange juice is in a white retangular cardboard carton with dark blue strips down the front and back. The word Value is written in red capital letters on the front along with a orange sliced in half. This is also on the back of the carton along with the usual information such as ingredients and nutritional information. To open the pack you lift one of the flaps on the top of the carton and cut along the dotted line. Once your carton... Read review

GET YOUR JUICES GOING
Review of Welch's Grape Juice Drink by  LostWitness

Advantages: Tasty, refreshing
Disadvantages: Over-priced

...What with the hot weather and all, I’m sure that like me you will have been on the look out for any interesting looking new soft drinks lately. I like carbonated fruit drinks, but not with my breakfast, so I also like to have a few cartons of fruit juice drinks tucked away in the fridge. My attention was drawn to a new range of drinks in Tesco this week, primarily because they are all on special offer. Welch’s currently produce a range of five different grape juice drinks. I like grape juice because it is rather different to the conventional citrus mixed drinks that you can buy, and because grapes have a lovely full flavour. These drinks are also strange because they refer to the ingredients as being “purple grapes”. This is not an expression I’ve heard before, and is actually an American expression... Read review
