Tesco online shopping
Advantages: Convenience
Disadvantages: Embarassment
...I have been shopping online with Tesco, on a weekly basis, for 2 months. Whilst I have no criticism of the quality of the goods selected and delivered, I would have severe reservations in recommending anyone to use this service.
On every occasion, I have been told by the delivery staff, very politely, that there has been a problem with my payment method and I must provide an alternative method of payment. On each occasion, I have opted to pay by debit card. The problem hinges apparently hinges on incorrect input of my debit card details, account number or issue number. On each occasion, the delivery staff have had to phone Tesco and request they check the details held, and each time, my payment has gone through with no problem.
After the third time, I contacted Tescos customer care centre only to be that I must have input...

Tesco grocery online shopping
Advantages: Good favoutites page.
Disadvantages: Appalling customer service. Not all offers in store are not replicated online the same.
...I tried Tesco Online shopping and was very unhappy with my online shopping experience. Let me tell you my cautionary tale before you make the mistake of trying this service for your-selves.
1.) They offer a substitution service which you can opt out of. This I did but Tesco still sent substitution goods that I did not want. When I complained to the delivery man he said that the pickers often got this wrong.
2.) When I returned my substitution goods I was only refunded for one of the items.
3.) I mistakenly thought that the in store offers were identical to the online offers, they are not, but they are confusingly similar so it?s very easy to think you?re getting the same offer when if fact you are not. This happened to me and I felt cheated by it.
4.) You have the option to have your delivery with shopping bags or without. I thought...

Tesco suits a student shop!
Advantages: Competitive prices, great range in relation to store sizes, good opening times, variety of services
Disadvantages: Can be busy, metro stores have limited size and range, disadvantages of another powerful monopoly
...of points may seem measly (1 point per pound spent) it really does add up in the long run and at least lets you make something out of your shopping. In addition to this, customers get point coupons for extra points if they buy certain products and the 'Green points' scheme means that customers can make points by using their own shopping carriers. All points accumulated are turned into money coupons that can only be spent in Tesco. The limited number of points for a coupon is 100 (£1).
*~Website and Buying Online~*
The Tesco website has an easy to follow layout with extensive information on store times, products, services and various other aspects of the company. Almost every week I am in a Tesco store so I've never experienced purchasing things online. However, I know people that have either used Tesco Direct or bought their groceries via...

Tesco and online shopping at Tesco's
Advantages: Efficient, wide range, loyalty card (Clubcard)
Disadvantages: Occasional wrong product on deliveries
...Tesco is always the supermarket that we use.. a good sized supermarket which has a very good range of everything you could want at very competitive prices. It makes for a nice shopping environment, especially the newer stores, many of which stay open 24 hours. This is a great improvement and a real move forward for British shopping. The other aspect which draws Tesco's away from its competitors is the excellent online facilities. Their newly designed website makes it very easy and quick to order shopping, and everything you order automatically is saved so that next time you don't have to trawl through so many items to look. There always seem to be ample delivery slots and the friendly delivery staff have never been late. Of course sometimes there is the occasional product missing or wrong but this is always dealt with. The amount...

Tesco shopping delivered
Advantages: No queues, no screaming kids!
Disadvantages: You do miss out on the reduce lines!
...and "multi buy" items first. I save loads by buying the "buy 1 get 1 free". Plus I don't miss any of the offers as I can see what is on offer without walking around a busy supermarket with two kids screaming at me because they are bored!
You can add to your shopping whenever you like, so you don't have to do all your shopping in one BIG hit. As you run out of items in the week you can simply just log back into your Tesco account and add items, up until 4am the day they are due to be delivered.
The convinence of shopping online is great and once the shopping is delivered to your door the drivers are extremely helpful. Any products that have been substitued are stated clearly at the top of the receipt the driver gives you and if there is anything on the list you no longer need or something which is not right you hand it back to the driver...

Tesco yes I shop at Tesco's
Advantages: convenience
Disadvantages: spend too much money
...Let me tell you about tesco?s or at least my experiences of Tesco?s
Well back when sleepydormouse was in her pram (24 years ago) I occasionally visited my local tesco. It was dirty, smelly; unpleasant I did not go very often.
However there were supermarket revolution new supermarkets popped up everywhere.
There are 4 tesco?s that I visit 1 on a regular basis the others infrequently they are different in size and the goods they hold
I shall begin with the smallest my local tesco it is situated on the edge of the small town I live in. I do not do my main shop here but pop in usually on a Sunday if I want any bread/milk or something for my husband?s sandwiches on. This supermarket is small. It does have a fresh bread section and a fruit and veg section a few aisles with
A selection of washing products tinned foods, alcohol...

Shop till you drop at Tescos
Advantages: 24 hour shopping Whayyyyy !
Disadvantages: It shuts partly on Sunday due to the Law! Boo
...In 1924 the name Tesco appeared on the packets of Tea, How did they come to pick a name like Tesco. Jack Cohen was the founder of Tesco and its first Chariman was T E Stockwell. They tool the TES for Mr Stockwell and the CO from Mr Cohen, there for TESCO was born. The first store opened in 1929 in Edgeware and the first self service store opened in 1956 in Malden.
I live in Warrington and a new Tesco has just opened and there is currently a price war going on between the stores. I used to shop at Asda but now you have to pay in their carpark unless you spend so much on food.
So I thought I used to shop at Tescos when I lived in Altrincham at the Wythenshawe branch so I will tell you all about my store here in Warrington.
The Layout

The car park is absolutely massive and I reckon it must be able to fit in around...

Tesco Internet Shopping
Advantages: Saves time and carrying heavy goods
Disadvantages: if you forget something
...I have been ordering food from Tesco via the Internet for the past 3 months, I have been absolutely thrilled to bits with the sevice. I have had a few hiccups but on calling Customer Services and explaining they have gone out of their way to be as helpful and rectify any problems immediately. I have been given extra shopping that I have not ordered and advised to keep the items with Tesco's compliments. I have also returned goods not required and my bank account has been recredited within a couple of working days. The delivery people are also super. I have to say that I give a 10 out of 10 for the service. Something I was concerned about was receiving naff fruit and veg but I have only received the best of everything and I am usually a very difficult customer to please. P.S. There is a £5.00 delivery charge for this service....

Online Shopping
Advantages: Easy and cheaper as you do not impulse buy
Disadvantages: You can easily forget an item if mot on your list
...The other day I went online to try the Tesco Online shopping as I was fed up with Shopping and seeing food after Christmas. I chose Tesco as they are currently the only Supermarket to offer the Home Delivery in our Area at the moment. All of the goods arrived between the times suggested and everything arrived in good condition even the fruit and vegetables. I recommend that if you are to try this then you must make a list of items that you require as the store layout obviously cannot be seen. Highly recommended for people with children as my two year old soon gets bored or tired....
