TESCO PURE ORANGE JUICE
Advantages: IT IS GOOD FOR YOU
Disadvantages: NONE
...I always crave orange juice after a big drunken night out. The other day after a night on the tiles my partner went to Tesco and remembered how I always like a drink of orange the next day and got me some Tescos pure orange juice.
Infact I ended up with two cartons of the stuff and my partner had a carton of apple juice because there was an offer of three cartons for £1.90.
THE PACKAGING
+++++++++++++++
The cartons are a quite big one litre size and because it is orange juice the carton is coloured orange. There is also a picture of an orange on the carton and it says tesco in red writing across the top and pure orange juice in white writing underneath. Each side of the carton looks the same apart from one, which has all the nutritional information.
There is spout with a screw cap on the top of the carton which makes it...

Tesco Value Juice - Juice Yourself!
Advantages: Cheap product, pretty good taste, smooth, recyclable carton.
Disadvantages: It's not Tropicana is it!
...I purchased this product instead of my normal Tropicana saving myself almost £1.50 on a 1 litre carton.
This product is 56p a litre at present and is an absolute bargain!
It is basic packaging, a standard juice carton with the Tesco value logo all over it and telling you that it is orange juice made from concentrate.
Upon opening the carton there is a slight chemical smell but you can also smell oranges which is obviously a good start! The juice is smooth with absolutely no bits and looks a little watery when poured out in a glass. The juice smells just like oranges once out of the carton.
When tasting the product I notice that it is indeed very smooth and has an almost sour kick to it, if you have a mouth ulcer this is definitely not the product for you! It does not taste completely like oranges, there is a slight after taste...

Concentrate ! Tesco Value Orange Juice Price Up?
Advantages: Fine everyday family juice
Disadvantages: Value for money rate might be going down
...only buy this Orange Juice brand because it is cheap. When the price gets too close between this one and a better tasting one ..........well ..... we might as well all go to Iceland or the Co-Op or anywhere else.
So, keeping half an eye to the price.........
Why do we buy it?
It's cheap, cheerful, tastes reasonable, and apparently we all need to increase our intake of fruit and juice.
What does it taste like?
OK, more like orange juice than "real oranges", bit syrupy. Not very sweet considering the sugar content is 26g per 250ml.
How is it packaged?
This I don't mind, if it keeps costs down and saves unnecessary plastic spouts ending up in the environment. Sold in 1 Litre cartons. Boring but fine thick carton Tetra-type, the usual uninspiring Tesco trademark navy blue colours and red value blazon. (Re-cyclable, where...

Oranges Alfresco Say The Bells Of Tesco
Advantages: Gorgeous aromas, Great results
Disadvantages: You can only get it at Tesco
...tops) But surely you dig what I am getting at, it's the oranges.
Conclusion
*****************************************************
I would suggest you give it a try, If you are like me and mainly use another supermarket and only go to Tesco as it is nearer and only need a few bit's N bob's. You have to go to the shampoos section and give it a try I guarantee you will love it and maybe you would like to try one of the other varieties. There is also a range of conditioners under the same labels, but I won't go on about them don't want to get off topic ratings do I? Also don't forget Tesco refund policy if you aren't happy with a product, this does not affect your statutory rights. And it is only around 2 pound for the bottle, and believe me I have paid alot more for shampoos only half as good as this one

Working for Tesco
Advantages: Good pay, great benefits package
Disadvantages: Crap uniform, crap managers
...Ok, first of all, I'd just like to mention, this is a looooooooooooong review, so if you're not actually interested in reading about Tesco as an employer, then I'd suggest you don't bother as it will take some patience to get through!
When I left school at the age of 18, and having decided I couldn't be bothered with university, I suddenly had to face the big bad world and go and find myself a job. I wasn't really fussy about what job I did - I've never been ambitious, and simply wanted a job where I could go to work, do my job, come home and not have to think about it.
As our local Tesco is just 5 minutes away, I decided to apply there. I wrote a letter requesting an application form, and a few days later received a lovely letter and the form I had asked for. I read through the form and thought, wow, I don't know how to answer...

An Orange op for my Orange Dot
Advantages: Taste good, value for money
Disadvantages: None for me, Some may be put off by cheap packaging
...I must admit that I shop in Tesco because it is the nearest shop to me and not because it is the best or cheapest. One good thing about them is their value range. A vast selection of products that are of a high standard with competitive prices.
Today ladies and gentlemen, I am going to talk about their very own orange juice.
Packaging
********
Well as you would expect, plain and simple. This 1 litre carton is mostly white with the tell tale blue stripes. On the front and back of your carton you have a picture of 1 whole orange and one thats been cut in half, the word value in red and the fact that it is pure orange juice. On one side are your nutrition information and on the other, the Tesco quality and their contact details.
They state that the cartons "contains 4 servings" but that would depend on the size of your glass...

Tescos
Advantages: Great Value
Disadvantages: Puts local businesses under stress
...Tescos is King of all supermarkets and I think that they are best for value in the long term or in the big shop as well. As a student I have found that the tesco down the road from me is my new home, as opposed to the Centre up the road that can be so expensive some times in comparison.
Tescos sells your average grocerys as well as dvd's and electricals, clothes, office supplies, tobacco and confectionary, alcohol, cards for special occassions and toys. Everything you need seems to almost be in one store, there is also a tesco value line that provides Tescos own products at a cheaper price.
The staff in Tescos are always friendly where I come from in Cookstown, they always help you find something if your not quite sure where it is and always strike up a pleasant conversation at the help desk, though I understand that some...

Carrots AND orange in one cake!
Advantages: sweet, scented, few calories
Disadvantages: size, orange can be over-powering
...When I was younger, quite often I would visit the bakers after a hard and tiring day at school to boost my energy levels with a creamy, delectable slice of carrot cake. I had not had a slice of such fine confectionary in about six years, until today, when I sampled Tesco's Carrot and Orange Cake slices.
I was a bit peckish and fancied a little snack a short while after my unsatisfying peanut-butter sandwich for lunch. The peanut-butter had given me a craving for something sweet, but I had no idea what treats were lurking in the cupboard. I opened up the door and raided around the biscuit box, but the little selection of bourbons and 'creams did not seem to take my fancy. Then I turned to my right, and noticed, side on, an orange and blue cardboard box, sitting all alone on the shelf. I looked hopefully at it, praying it stored a tasty...

'Wake Up' and Smell the Orange!
Advantages: Orange, fresh fragrance. Price. It's popular with the whole family.
Disadvantages: A Tesco 'Only ' product.
...I had become keen on the idea of having a handwash in the kitchen, as being the room where food is prepared; obviously keeping my hands clean is a top priority. In the past I?ve used a bar of soap on a saucer, but quite often this has turned into a magnet for muck and germs, which defeated the whole object really. So having a convenient and hygienic method for keeping my hands clean, made a lot of sense to me.
A little over two weeks ago, I came across Tesco?s ?Wake Up? orange handwash, which initially caught my eye, due to its bright orange colour, and attractive packaging. Priced at £1.09 for 300ml, which I didn?t think seemed too bad; I decided there and then to give it a go. I?ve always been fond of citrus smells, as I think they convey an added freshness, and always remind me of summer.
This ?Wake Up? handwash is contained...

A Pure Orange Juice For Just 35p!
Advantages: Good Value For Money
Disadvantages: High In Sugar
...They say that Pure Fresh Orange Juice is good for you but I must admit that it is something that I seem to go through phases with. I can quite easily go a couple of months without even thinking about the stuff, then suddenly I find myself buying a Carton and before I know what is happening on my next trip to the Supermarket I find myself filling up my trolley with 3 or 4 Cartons.
When the Pure Orange Juice mood takes over me I always tend to buy the cheap Supermarket brand and have bought Asda's Smartprice on many occasions without any complaints. Recently however, during a trip to Tesco I found myself parting with 35p and purchasing a Carton of their Value Pure Orange Juice.
The Packaging
If you are not familiar with Tesco's Value range then I will begin by saying that it is all packaged pretty much the same. The emphasis is...
