Pets at home rabbit food
Advantages: healthy for your rabbit
Disadvantages: none that i can think of
...Was recommended this food as it's what the rabbit we have from petsathome had been fed on so we kept Neil (our rabbit) on it.
He does eat this food but he does selectively pick at it leaving the dark pellet parts, our old rabbit was fed a none selective food that was all the same pellets.
I don't really want to change it over to this as he does like it.
There are lots of healthy ingredience in the food and it only costs £3.99 for quite a big bag that lasts about 3-4weeks.
We feed it to him twice a day, one meal of pets at home rabbit food the other he has fresh fruit and vegetables.
He looks really good on this food is active, has a healthy, smooth glowing coat and has never been ill even with dhiarea(sp)I would definately recommend this food to other rabbit owners.
But i would not feed it to guinea pigs as they have special...

Tesco Pet Insurance - there is a disadvantage
Advantages: Sometimes cheaper than other pet insurers
Disadvantages: Only pays for 12 months on any condition
...When I bought my first Cavalier King Charles Spaniel I decided that I should buy pet insurance. I tried various insurers and finally bought the insurance from Tesco because, at that time, they were the cheapest and not knowing anything about pet insurance, didn't know any better! When my CKCS took ill I put in a claim. Tesco were very good and paid out the claim promptly. Then my dog had "dry eyes" and, again, Tesco paid out the claim each time I submitted it. It was only in the later stages that I realised they would only pay out on the claim for 12 months. Consequently, when the 12 months were up, they would not cover the "dry eye" condition and I have to pay £39 per tube of treatmentplus £18 vet consultation fee.
When I bought my second CKCS I shopped around for insurance and eventually went with Saga Pet Insurance which...

Pet's, Vet's and Saving Money !!
Advantages: Cheap and Save's a Fortune
Disadvantages: Have to Pay Out Initially.
...fault really maybe I should have seen how thing's were in the morning but even then just for a consultation it's £30.
We had taken out 12 day's previously Tesco pet Insurance on all three of our Cats but unfortunately because the 14 day cooling period was not finished I could not claim for the visit. I did ring Tesco and got a very polite reply but a negative reply all the same so had to stomach the loss and rest in the fact that they would be covered in two day's time.
Today I had to take the same kitten Becks to the Vet again this time fighting with her sister she had received a nasty bite to the pad of her front paw and it had swollen and she could not walk on it. The Vet informed me that this happens a lot with Cats and the swelling should go down but I need to keep an eye out for any sign of infection. The bill then came in at £55...

Tesco Pet Insurance - cheapest so far
Advantages: Very cheap compared to other providers
Disadvantages: None I've encountered so far
...and Tesco only covered 'reactive' care rather than preventative.
Petcare also allowed for 'prescription feed' whereas the Tesco policy would consider that food rather than treatment. The vet was quite pushy regarding the Petcare policy, however when you consider the premium is £50.00 per month, you have to balance the risk that you pet may at some point need prescriptive food and for how long against the extra monthly premiums, as well as the cost of annual boosters.
I considered these risks and felt that the extra premium was not worth it in our instance, although other people may consider it necessary. Cover between Tesco and Pet Plan was very comparable with no significant differences.
When I contacted Tesco, I was impressed with the way that they viewed us as a 'unit' rather than 2 separate pets. The usual rate would have been...

Tesco Premium Cat Food - buy it!
Advantages: Great value for money, good range, litter doesn't smell
Disadvantages: none for us at all, other users may find some
...We live in a household where 3 cats rule the roost. Well we certainly don't have servants who feeds us and clean our toilets. Or for that matter have free board and lodgings! Yes, we are here to cater to our cats' whims and providing the right food is important, otherwise we wake up to a nice nugget of recycled food strategically placed in protest!!
We have gone through all types of food for our cats (2 adults and 1 older kitten) including all the big names and all the value names. One day, being strapped for cash, we decided to risk a protest poo and try feeding the boys Tesco cat food.
We realised that from one 30p (or so) tin we can spread it out and feed our cats the same amount of food as three 30p (or so) whiskas pouches!! So we placed the cat food in the their bowls, provided them with dry food to nibble on throughout...

I Beg of you..insure you're pets.
Advantages: cheap, fast service, great customer service, easy to understand policy
Disadvantages: personally none that I've encountered...yet
...owners on pet insurance.
And so...that is how my story into the world of pet insurance began, I certainly couldn't afford to have a tradegy like that happen and leave me struggling with vets bills. As a result I shopped around on the internet for good quotes, at the time only having one cat. I came across Tesco's pet insurance early on. I put in my cats details and got an amazing quote. I seriously didn't think it was this cheap...£3.60 a month (for one cat (18mths old at the time) this included me offering £80 excess, something I was willing to offer). I couldn't find any cheaper quotes and looking at the policy details was very impressed. I liked the fact that as soon I clicked the confirm button on the website having inputted all my details my cat was covered immediately. Other pet insurances didn't do this, there is a few days, maybe...

Working for Tesco
Advantages: Good pay, great benefits package
Disadvantages: Crap uniform, crap managers
...Ok, first of all, I'd just like to mention, this is a looooooooooooong review, so if you're not actually interested in reading about Tesco as an employer, then I'd suggest you don't bother as it will take some patience to get through!
When I left school at the age of 18, and having decided I couldn't be bothered with university, I suddenly had to face the big bad world and go and find myself a job. I wasn't really fussy about what job I did - I've never been ambitious, and simply wanted a job where I could go to work, do my job, come home and not have to think about it.
As our local Tesco is just 5 minutes away, I decided to apply there. I wrote a letter requesting an application form, and a few days later received a lovely letter and the form I had asked for. I read through the form and thought, wow, I don't know how to answer...

thank god for pet insurance
Advantages: very quick at payin vets valie for money
Disadvantages: would go for the £4000 policy
...well the only reason I ended up getting pet insurance was because my brother stood on my cat and she got cystitis because of it and it was a pain trailing an hour on the bus to take her so I looked and found Tesco was the best offer at the time well I was so glad I took insurance out as 5 week ago she got run over outside my house while we were out and was taken to the local emergency vets and it turned out she had broke her pelvis. She was in the vets for nearly a week had to have a metal plate put in her pelvis and part of her leg removed at the top but he was so worried she would not start weeing but she did but if I did not have the insurance I don't know what I would have done. I was only covered on my insurance to £2500 and I took her back on Wednesday and used the last of the insurance up so from now I have just got to pay...

Tescos
Advantages: Great Value
Disadvantages: Puts local businesses under stress
...Tescos is King of all supermarkets and I think that they are best for value in the long term or in the big shop as well. As a student I have found that the tesco down the road from me is my new home, as opposed to the Centre up the road that can be so expensive some times in comparison.
Tescos sells your average grocerys as well as dvd's and electricals, clothes, office supplies, tobacco and confectionary, alcohol, cards for special occassions and toys. Everything you need seems to almost be in one store, there is also a tesco value line that provides Tescos own products at a cheaper price.
The staff in Tescos are always friendly where I come from in Cookstown, they always help you find something if your not quite sure where it is and always strike up a pleasant conversation at the help desk, though I understand that some...
