Italian pizza from Tesco's
Review of Tesco Italiano Classico Margarita Pizza by  Janny1983

Advantages: Quite good value, loads of topping
Disadvantages: Dough is quite thick, too thick for an italian pizza

...Well, first of all, I am very picky about the food I eat. So my judgements are rather strict... Anyway, let's commence. PACKAGE This pizza is in a standard thin pizza box, quite thin and compact. The colourful image makes you (at least me) feel hungry and is rather attractive. When you open a box, you find the pizza in a usual plastic cover that I was able to easily remove without scissors. PRICE I paid for Tesco Italiano Classico Margarita Pizza J1.99, but quite often it goes on sale at 2 for 1, which is quite a good value for the money, even considering that the size is for 1 person rather than 2 (at least I finish the whole thing myself for lunch) TASTE Tesco Italiano Classico Margarita Pizza is an italian style pizza with tomato sauce and cheese on top of it. This kind of pizza usually has thin dough which gets... Read review

Tesco Alfresco!
Review of Tesco Italian Margherita Pizza by  karimkha

Advantages: A quick, nutritious meal; easy to cook.
Disadvantages: Not exciting or authentic; expensive for what you get.

.... That was a problem for me as I had stopped cooking ages ago and have been totally depending on my mum at home! But, thankfully, there is always canned or frozen food available. I know there is nothing can beat a home made dinner, nice and warm; unfortunately, I'm useless! TESCO'S ITALIAN MARGARITA PIZZA Anyway . . . having internet access helped a lot. I opened the Tesco.com home page looking for something to buy online; I was too tired to go anywhere to shop, and besides, my friends wanted to buy few things as well. Together we prepared a huge shopping list including Tesco's Italian Margarita Pizza . I have to say that I had never tried it before but as I said earlier in this review, I have decided that I'm too fussy about everything (especially food and men!), and I chose THIS pizza because . . . * Firstly I love pizza... Finest Pizza, How Does That Work?
Review of Tesco Finest Margherita Pizza by  El_Leon

Advantages: Good Tasting Cheese, Plenty of Herbs
Disadvantages: Pretty Standard Affair, Expensive

...Having just got back home from university I’m still riding a wave of happiness from my parents which has seen them buy all my food for me without me have to pay a single pound towards dig money. However with everything that goes your way something else goes against you, this here pizza is one of those things. Despite living off Tesco value pizzas for the past 8 months my parents have now decided it’s not “good” enough. Appearance Okay first things first, Appearance, the pizza comes in on of those attractive Tesco finest boxes with a window in the middle. From first look you can tell it’s loaded with herbs and cheese. Also present is the nutritional information in all it’s glory, and it’s here that my first main quarrel is. The values are given per serving, which I would of taken to have meant the pizza. Once again I was wrong... Read review

Try a Pizza this
Review of Tesco Finest Margherita Pizza by  helencbradshaw

Advantages: Yummy taste
Disadvantages: None

...I Just spotted that this product has been added to the FROZEN Food Section, it is not actually a frozen pizza. This wasnt the actual category I specified to Ciao. I first tried this Pizza about six months ago, and I have to tell you that it is one of the best pre-packed pizzas available. The Tesco Finest Margherita Pizza retails for around £3.79. The Tesco Finest brand name is made up of products which are exactly that, and this pizza is no exception. The Pizza is around 12” in diameter and weighs 415g. Tesco suggest it would serve two. I am thankful for that, because if they said it should serve four, I expect it would only serve two in our house! This way, I don’t feel so bad. It isn’t too-oo bad in calories either; it contains 442 calories and 5.2 g of fat in a 207g serving. So why do you think... Read review

Pizza in a silver box, how very classy.
Review of Tesco Finest Margherita Pizza by  jamessmyth199

Advantages: stylish box
Disadvantages: not much stuff on it.

...Is it just me, or is Cheese & Tomato pizza the most boring pizza in the history of pizza? Surely proper pizza should be encrusted with lots of bits of meat and interesting fruits and vegetables, and not just be the kind of pizza that somebody has omitted to add any toppings to because they were busy selling aforementioned toppings in a seedy car-boot sale. That’s what the old C&T pizza says to me. But… once the connoisseurs who work in the Tesco Finest factory decided that the humble toppingless pizza was worth of their consideration, I was prepared to revise my opinion. What magic, I wondered, could these gastronomic experts work upon this bland foodstuff. With a beating heart I carried my silver-packaged purchase to the check-out. With trembling fingers I spilled my money into the lap of the sour-faced check-out girl. With tapping... Read review

Gimme Gimme Gimme more pizza
Review of Tesco Loaded Pizza by  coolchanty

Advantages: tasty, moist, full of flavour, full of topping
Disadvantages: None

...I fancied a pizza last night and didn't have once and ordered a take away one but the pizza hut nar me screwed up so I ended up without one. On my way home from work tonight I decided to pop into Tesco and get a pizza from there and they had a wide selection and I didn't know which one to choose. I could only narrow it down to a Pepperoni pizza and I spotted Tesco's loaded pizzas. They had so many different varieties to suit all tastes such as Margherita, Hot and Spicy, Vegetable, HAm and Pineapple, Meat Feast and my favourite, Pepperoni. They are also doing an offer this week and you can get a free garlic bagette worth £0.79p with any of these pizzas. Got the pizza home put it straight into the oven and 20 mins went by. My pizza was ready, the thing I was dying to eat last night. Now I am a pig anyway and I ate... Read review

Whats on my pizza? .Answers in comments please
Review of Tesco Thin Crust Garlic Mushroom Pizza by  mumsymary

Advantages: cheap adequette
Disadvantages: nothing special

...Garlic mushroom pizza from Tesco’s I wanted something quick and easy for supper and went to the frozen pizza section at Tesco’s and lurking there I found pizza on offer two for £3 not bad price I thought, I can eat one and freeze one. So I bought a thin crust garlic mushroom pizza and a thick crust meat feast. Today I shall tell you about the garlic mushroom one. It comes in a pretty uninspiring green box with a picture of the pizza; the picture is very like the pizza I saw when I opened the box. The price of the pizza is emblazoned across the box £1.69, 2 for £3. Before I froze one of the pizzas I cut them both in half so we could have a slice of each will tell you about the meat feast another day. The pizza contains milk wheat gluten and yeast so no good for my grandson with dairy intolerance. This pizza... Read review

Pizza in your hands.
Review of Tesco Pizza Base Mix by  LUNAH_C

Advantages: Design your pizza from start to finish.
Disadvantages: None

...The School Holidays are finally here and now you may be wondering how you are going to entertain the children for the next few weeks. Unfortunately I don't have all the solutions but I have found that Tesco Pizza Mix does at least create an activity for at least one morning or afternoon. The children get to create the pizza of their fantasies and having made it themselves they are bound to eat it. So follow us through an afternoon of cooking; First, everyone washes their hands and puts aprons on. We have a large pine dining table so everyone sits at their place and each gets a plate with a sprinkling of flour on. To make life easier I mix the powder. To do this you need to empty the contents of one of the sachets into a bowl and add 100ml of hand hot water. So remember to boil the kettle some time earlier. I then mix... Read review

This Is My Kind Of Pizza
Review of Tesco Thin & Crispy Pepperoni Pizza by  Nige7Whit

Advantages: This Pizza Has Plenty Of Toppings And Is Tasty
Disadvantages: No Longer On Special Offer Price

...If any of you read my first pizza opinion, you'll know that I like to know what I'm getting when I buy a pre-packed pizza. I like to get the toppings that the name suggests, and lots of them. I think that Tesco's own brand 'thin and crispy' pepperoni pizza is a good balance between product quality and price. I first discovered these pizzas when they were on a special offer, priced at 2 for £4.00, so I thought I'd give them a try. The box has a cutaway section, so you can see what the pizza looks like, before you buy, and I'm guilty of 'browsing' to find the one with absolutely the most slices of pepperoni before I buy (well, some of the pizza packers are more generous than others!). These pizzas require cooking at 220 C or Gas 7 for 8-10 mins /12-14 from frozen, and actually, I find that they crisp a little better from... Read review

Asta la Pizza Baby
Review of Tesco Pizza Base Mix by  Sweetboy84

Advantages: Good taste, very cheap, family fun for all, makes great pizza's
Disadvantages: None

...Tesco Pizza Base mix provides a great opportunity to make your own pizza from scratch. This is a cost effective and enjoyable way of making your own food and what's more you know exactly what is going onto it! These provide great entertainment and fun for kids and offer a great way for familys to bond. I remember making these with my mum when i was a kid and on the plus side they dont make much mess. Packaging The box weighs 290g and contains two sachets (145g each) so enough for two pizzas. The sachets are small plastic bags and are packaged into a cardboard box (easy to recycle) How long does it last? The shelf life for the mixture is about 8-9 months so its ideal to have in your cupboard for a rainy day if you haven't got anything to cook. Price At just 56p for a box (2 pizzas) you cant go wrong. This is ideal for any... Read review
