Tesco My Baby's Ultra Soft Wipes
Review of Tesco Baby Wipes by  danmclovin

Advantages: Excellent quality, good value!
Disadvantages: None!

...Since my little one was born, some 10 months ago now, I have tried and tested many different baby wipes on the market. I have tried Pampers, Huggies and Johnson wipes, but for me, the best wipes on the market in terms of quality and value for money are Tesco's own My Baby's Ultra Soft Wipes. Tesco's My Baby's Ultra Sost Wipes are formulated with aloe vera extracts and chamomile to moisturise the baby's skin, as well as cleanse. The wipes come in a standard baby wipes thin plastic pouch, coloured in green or blue, with a hard plastic cover. The cover can be easily opened with a single hand, and the wipes have a pop up one after another, which is ideal for changing a baby. Beneath the packings cover is a sticky label, which covers the opening of the pack to keep the wipes moist. The Tesco wipes come in packs of 24 or 80 wipes. I find... Read review

Tesco Baby Wipes
Review of Tesco Baby Wipes by  Lizamabug

Advantages: Handy Dispensing Pack, Value for Money
Disadvantages: Inferior Quality to my Favourite Brand

...I started using Tesco My Baby's Ultra Soft Wipes when my son was first born back in 2005. At the time they were sold in triple packs for £2.99 each though now they're sold individually for £1.09 each and regularly put on offer at 3 for £3. Each pack contains 80 wipes which is a couple of wipes more than standard premium brand packs usually hold. I noticed that my baby often had a slightly pink tinge to his bottom when I used these however I didn't actually realise he was having a small reaction to them until I tried a wipe that left him nice and peachy a few months later. Considering that Johnson's Sensitive baby wipes left him with out and out raging nappy rash, and Pampers gave him a bright red bottom though, I don't think it's fair for me to suggest that these Tesco wipes would be problematic on normal skin. Although... Read review

Tesco Baby Wipes
Review of Tesco Baby Wipes by  jens25

Advantages: Excellent value for money
Disadvantages: As with all wipes, you want one out and you get the whole packet!

...I usually just use Pampers or Johnsons wipes on my one year old son as he has quite sensitive skin, but as I was doing my usual shopping last week I saw the Tesco wipes on offer for 2 for £2 (or £1.88 each). That is really cheap compared to the Pampers or Johnsons wipes that are £2.49 per packet and every penny counts when you have a baby. ****What do you get**** You can have either scented or unscented and the wipes come in a pack of 80 that has a flip top closable lid rather than the usual sticky re-sealable type. I thought I would give the scented a go as my son seems okay with the Pampers scented and the packet says that it is as good as the leading brand. The scented wipes are in an attractive light purple pack with a picture of a baby on the front and as I mentioned before there is a flip top lid. The wipes state... Read review

Tesco exfoliating facial wipes
Review of Tesco Clear Skin Deep Facial Cleansing Wipes by  tome1976

Advantages: Leaves skin moisturised
Disadvantages: doesn't remove dirt

...Walking down the beauty section in tesco i came across the face wipes,I've never used these before and always wanted to try them, what put me off trying them was the fact that i have sensitive skin and almost everything i put on my face either brings me out in spots or drys my skin out.So i didn't want to waste money buying the most expensive.I realized tesco done their own make so i went for these. There was a choice of exfoliating or just normal clear skin wipes.I couldn't decide so i took a gamble and took both. This review is about the exfoliating wipes. *PACKAGING* I must say it is quite nice packaging. Its the normal packaging wipes come in with the re sealable opening so the other wipes don't dry out.It is half dark purple and half light purple. It has what looks like a target circle in the middle which is three different shades... Tesco Toilet Wipes
Review of Tesco Baby Wipes by  katherine234

Advantages: Smell great and easy for children to use
Disadvantages: None

...My daughter has started to use the toilet now, so is in a nappy less. I found that letting her use tissue made her bum sore, so i bought her some Tesco Toilet Wipes, and they are great. The wipes come in an apple green packet, with a picture of a pig on the front holding a wipe to his bottom. On the front of the packet it says:- Tesco Look ... I am wiping my bottom Toilet wipes Specially formulated for young children from 2 years+ * One wipe per flush * Dermatologically tested * Fresh Green Apple Fragrance 60 wipes On the back of the packet it says:- Look i am wiping my bottom toilet wipes. These toilet wipes have been specially designed for young children as their first toilet tissue, each wipe is sized so that it can be flushed. The pop-up delivery system allows easy access to the next wipe and the resealable label... Read review

Tesco Value Baby Wipes
Review of Tesco Baby Wipes by  DylanD

Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Too thin for no 2's!

...Browsing the baby wipe range in Tesco, I noticed Tesco do their own baby value wipes for 44p! A 100 wipes for that low price I thought I would give them a go! 44p compared to £1.74 for my usual Johnsons brand, I can't believe how much money I could save if these were any good. Heres what Tesco say -------------------- value wipes are ideal for baby and all the family. They contain mild cleansing agents and are ideal for use in the home or when travelling. In my opinion..... Smell -------- A weird sort of smell. They smell a bit like baby talcum powder mixed with a citrusy smell, I can't quite put my finger on it but it does take a bit of getting used to. The smell isn't endearing at first but after a few wipes used I quite like the smell. Texture of Wipe ---------------- Very thin in texture compared to your... Read review

Tesco 'My Baby's' Ultra Soft Cloth Wipes
Review of Tesco Baby Wipes by  nessie3105

Advantages: Moist; re-sealable lid
Disadvantages: Sometimes stick together

...Since having my baby daughter, I have tried lots of different brands of baby wipes. To be honest, I have not really found much difference between any of these brands in terms of quality and effectiveness. The Tesco baby wipes, however, are by far one of the cheapest brands that I have found, particularly if you buy in bulk. 4 packs of 80 wipes cost around £3.80, which I think is great value. Overall, I am very pleased with the wipes. The wipes claim: ** Consultant dermatologist approved **With moisturising baby lotion **Helps delicate skin The wipes are fairly moist and are a good size. I find that even with the worst nappy, only about 4 wipes are needed maximum. With a wet nappy, I tend to only need to use 1 wipe. The wipes are soft ang gentle. The wipes have a really handy closing, plastic lid, which help to keep... Read review

TESCO ULTRA SOFT CLOTH WIPES.
Review of Tesco Baby Wipes by  discoball

Advantages: moisturises
Disadvantages: none

...We use the tesco ultra soft cloth wipes for our children. You can get them in scented and UN scented. The scented one’s smell like baby lotion. A pack contains 80 wipes which are pretty strong and do not rip easily like other ones do. They are consultant dermatologist approved and are soft to touch and soft on your baby’s bottom and face. We use them for our baby at nappy changing time and on our other children for their faces and hands when we are out in the car were we always have some. They come in a packet with a plastic snap shut top so they stay moist and don’t dry out. They help to protect your baby’s delicate skin. They clean really well and are very good in the handy pop up pack as you can open the pack and take a baby wipe out with one hand while holding your baby in the other. You can also use them on your self... Read review

Tesco's baby wipes
Review of Tesco Baby Wipes by  jules.34

Advantages: Cheap and do the job they are supposed to
Disadvantages: Can't think of any!

...My son is now 4 but I still carry a packet of wipes with me everywhre as he makes such a mess if he eats anything out. I was originally buying a different brand but paying a fortune that I thought I would start trying other brands to see if I could get something just as good for a more reasonable price. After trying a couple of nasty ones, I found the Tescos ones. They come in a blue packet with a lift up lid on the front, rather than a peel back sticker, so that way they don't dry out. They are also fragrance free. They are called 'ultra soft cloth wipes' and that was the first thing that I did notice about them - how soft they were. They are about the same size as other known brand name wipes, and they are quite stretchy. My son has quite sensitive skin, but these wipes are nice - he doesn't react to them at all. Some...
