I Value Tesco Products Highly.
Advantages: Tinned peaches that are fine !
Disadvantages: None
...better for our health but lets face it we cant have our cake and eat it can we?
If I am going to be ultra picky then there are only a couple of minor criticisms, firstly some of the peach slices may not be as ripe as they should be and secondly some of the slices are more of a sliver than a slice.
Having fed many a hungry flock I am the first to admit that price does matter.
If I can throw a couple of cans of Tesco Value peaches into a trifle and serve it to my eager fledglings for Sunday tea I am sure they arent going to poise the spoon halfway between bowl and lips to remark on the inadequacy of the peaches.
Value means value and Tesco are doing their level best to give us a reasonable product at a very affordable price and I applaud them for it....

Confessions of A Cleaning Product Floozy
Advantages: Cheap, Convenient
Disadvantages: Dry the skin out, Smell
...I am a cleaning product floozy! I have no loyalty and I tend to just go with whatever?s on offer! I would love to be a Domestic Goddess and actually care about my housework but I long since realised that?s never going to happen.
But as cleaning is something I must do whether I like it or not I?ll do everything I can to make it easy on myself. Extra brownie points and 10 gold stars have to go to all-purpose cleaning wipes ? cleaning couldn?t be any easier (unless they invent wipes that do the cleaning for you, whilst you put your feet up with a nice cuppa?what are you waiting for, Flash and Cif, get your inventors to work!!)
Cleaning wipes have been around for a few years now. They started out as all purpose cleaning wipes, like baby wipes for your kitchen surfaces and have since become big business. Wipes are now available...

What are you waiting for, get cleaning!
Advantages: Cheaper, safer, non toxic, eco - friendly
Disadvantages: Unfortunately you have to clean.
...With the holiday season fast approaching it?s time to have a good clean in preparation for all those guests, and a clear out to make space for all those presents. Here are some ideas and tried and tested methods I like to use, I hope they inspire you to get cleaning!
Most of us hate cleaning, but it has to be done.
I find cleaning products have a strong smell that can take your breath away when you clean, making it unpleasant. These products can be damaging to the skin, and do damage to the environment.
As consumers we spend a lot of money each year on cleaning products, hoping to make household chores easier. If you prefer to buy cleaning products, you don't need to buy the most expensive; a lot of the cheaper ones are just as effective. Also there are a lot of natural cleaning products that you can find in the cleaning aisle...

Tesco trains
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: As good as original brands
...Santa bought my four year old the lovely mountain train set made by tesco. He desperately wanted a train set and when we were in Toysrus we would look at the brio sets and then look around the other toys. It was not unitl near to Christmas that I actually decided to look at the price. I was horrified to discover how expensive brio train sets were. I looked in several other shops ELC etc but they too were too expensive. I found a cheap set in ASDA but it did not seem to be compatabile with brio or even near to the quality, so I decided not to buy the train set from there either. When we were shopping in Tescos my son pointed out the train sets and took a real interest in a lovely mpuntain train set which had had a wooden train set, a little bridge, wooden animals, trees, tunnels, trains, carriages,sign and mountains all for £24...

Working for Tesco
Advantages: Good pay, great benefits package
Disadvantages: Crap uniform, crap managers
...above are what I consider to be the most important benefits, however, there are many others including discounted Everyday Health Plan, which covers things like dental and optical treatment, physiotherapy, hospital treatment etc, Dental Cover, Private Medical Insurance, Personal Accident Protection, discounts on Tesco Personal Finance products, discounted tax advice, holiday discounts, gym discounts, and exclusive to staff offers such as £5 off clothing voucher.
Personally, I think the Benefits package Tesco offer is brilliant. The 10% discount is obviously very useful, though I do often forget to hand my card to the person on checkouts, but they're usually good enough to remind me! I receive a benefits report every year, which tells me exactly how much my benefits are worth, which is really helpful, and it was a pleasant surprise to find...

Tescos
Advantages: Great Value
Disadvantages: Puts local businesses under stress
...Tescos is King of all supermarkets and I think that they are best for value in the long term or in the big shop as well. As a student I have found that the tesco down the road from me is my new home, as opposed to the Centre up the road that can be so expensive some times in comparison.
Tescos sells your average grocerys as well as dvd's and electricals, clothes, office supplies, tobacco and confectionary, alcohol, cards for special occassions and toys. Everything you need seems to almost be in one store, there is also a tesco value line that provides Tescos own products at a cheaper price.
The staff in Tescos are always friendly where I come from in Cookstown, they always help you find something if your not quite sure where it is and always strike up a pleasant conversation at the help desk, though I understand that some...

Tesco supermarket
Advantages: A wide variety of well priced goods
Disadvantages: Toilets maybe need cleaning a little more often
...Extra;these stores are the much larger Hypermarket style stores.The first Tesco Extra opened in1997,and now they are building around 20 new Tesco Extra stores a year.
The largest Tesco Extra is in Basildon Essex.
In the main these stores are on two floors,the ground floor used for food products and the first floor for clothing,electronics and entertainments.
The majority of Tesco Extra stores have cafes.
Tesco Superstores:
The Tesco Superstores are the large supermarkets,stocking groceries and a smaller range of non food goods.
Most of the stores fitting this description are situated in City suburbs or on the edge of the larger towns.
Tesco Metro :
The Tesco Metro stores are the stores that are in between being a Superstore and a Tesco Express store.
These strores are mainly located in the middle of small towns and cities...

Soft, Absorbent, Hypoallergenic, and Versatile
Advantages: Soft, Absorbent, Hypoallergenic, and Versatile, inexpensive
Disadvantages: wears out after about 50 uses.
...worktops and car paintwork, as it will absorb the water and dry the car without streaks.
Another common use for the fibre is to make hypoallergenic bedding, clothes, and due to its high absorbency, reusable nappies. This is because the fibre is completely hypoallergenic, despite its artificial origins, and does not aggravate eczema or trigger hay fever or other allergies including asthma. I first came across this not as a cleaning cloth,, but relating to its use with nappies, so more about this later!
~~~The Tesco Micro fibre Cloth and What I Use It For~~~
Found in a hanging packet over on the aisle where they sell car shampoo and other such items, you will find a hanging packet with a single large blue micro fibre cloth in it. That is the one pictured by Ciao and it sells for about £1.50. Tesco also now do a value range of these...
Tesco Express Sketty
Advantages: Staff are great, Shop is always clean inside and out
Disadvantages: None really
...My experience of Tesco express in sketty
All the staff are very pleasant and will do anything to help you
Pleanty of products to choose from ranging from the discounted
Brands to Tesco finest which is top of the range.
I always compliment the shop on its appearances as its always clean
and tidy i can imagine they have cleaning audits so they got to keep the
shop to a high standard of cleaniness.
Also as its apart of the tesco group you also use your clubcard there to but the only downside is you cant douple your vouchers up like you can in a bigger store but thats the nature of the store really is dat its a convienience to people who only need a few items....
TESCO
Advantages: Friendlly people, easy job
Disadvantages: pay,staff benefits
...a place to build your career.
************************************************************** **************
As a customer - I prefer to shop elsewhere mainly because I don't like the fact that my local store is forever changing the layout.
I also find TESCO has limited variety in its products and that their finest collection is over-priced.
Also I think it is a personal preference, I don't like the fact that I cant shop in peace because my old work colleagues will come over and attempt a lengthily chat about how I am, what im doing now etc (im not a bitch I just like to get my shopping out of the way quick and pain free)...
