Cheap life insurance

...I have recently taken out a mortgage on a house and therefore needed to take out life insurance. Having never done this before I decided to shop around. Taking the advice of friends I asked for quotes from Norwich Union as I had been told they were reasonably cheap. Having amassed a collection of quotes I found that yes they were able to offer the cheapest service for me. That is until I read that Tesco had started offering Life Insurance services too. Their Life Insurance is underwritten by Norwich Union and offers a 16 per cent discount on the Norwich Union prices. So basically you get the same product but cheaper. The lowest monthly charge is 5 pounds so if you can find cheaper than that then you are doing well but I found that this was a pound or so cheaper than the other companies I contacted....

Tesco car insurance, Every little really does help

...I have been insured with Tesco car insurance now for about 4 years. The reason I insured with them was largeley that they gave the lowest quote. I know that you never really know how good your insurance provider is until you have to make a claim. Two weeks ago, after nearly 9 years accident free on the road, I had my first accident. Driving home from work, on a hot Friday afternoon, I misjudged the traffic infront of me, and when I went to break, my foot accidentally slipped onto the accelerator and I crashed into the queuing traffic infront. ...Tesco claim to be the cheapest and the best. My experience is quite the contrary. As a 25 year old driving a high powered car, my policy with them cost in excess of £2,500 so for that I expected service. On having a taxi drive into the back of my car, with the driver fleeing the scene without exchanging details I would have expected Tesco to support me against this imbecile. Instead, they failed to contact witnesses, including the police, and accepted the made up word of a witness who could well have been a friend of the accident causer without any investigation. Whilst some would say that there are two sides to every story, Tesco didn't even consider to support the person paying them in a scenario where witnesses supported their insured party. Tesco Insurance is available online and you can call there offices, I struggled to find a free phone number for them. This review is all about Tesco motor insurance policy only, I have not covered there staff. NOT the CHeapest - but CHeerful Motor Insurance

Advantages: 5% discount for online quotes, easy to apply, competitive premiums, helpful staff
Disadvantages: need to get letter for NCD proof, (not available in R.O.I or Northern Ireland)

Tesco Pet Insurance - there is a disadvantage

Advantages: Sometimes cheaper than other pet insurers
Disadvantages: Only pays for 12 months on any condition

...covers the dog for life (and was slightly cheaper than Tesco!). I have since added my first CKSP onto this policy although they have excluded the "dry eye" condition for a period of 12 months with a view to reviewing the condition. But I have the knowledge that if any of my dogs takes ill for a period of longer than 12 months then they are covered. All in all, Tesco pet insurance is good - they do not quibble in paying out the claims - but you need to be aware of their 12 month clause....

Tesco The Best Motor Insurance

Not because they have done anything in the past to put me off, i just thought Supermarkets would stick best to what they know! How wrong was i! I stupidly bought my car (a 1.8 Peugeot 306 SRi) before obtaining any insurance quotes, i took the car dealers word for it that it would be cheap to insure.
