Tesco Premium Cat Food - buy it!
Advantages: Great value for money, good range, litter doesn't smell
Disadvantages: none for us at all, other users may find some
...We live in a household where 3 cats rule the roost. Well we certainly don't have servants who feeds us and clean our toilets. Or for that matter have free board and lodgings! Yes, we are here to cater to our cats' whims and providing the right food is important, otherwise we wake up to a nice nugget of recycled food strategically placed in protest!!
We have gone through all types of food for our cats (2 adults and 1 older kitten) including all the big names and all the value names. One day, being strapped for cash, we decided to risk a protest poo and try feeding the boys Tesco cat food.
We realised that from one 30p (or so) tin we can spread it out and feed our cats the same amount of food as three 30p (or so) whiskas pouches!! So we placed the cat food in the their bowls, provided them with dry food to nibble on throughout...

A great value energy drink
Advantages: cheap, delicious, can be drank while running
Disadvantages: High in sugar, fattening
...Tesco Active Isotonic Sports drink comes in cherry, tropical and blueberry flavours, and whilst they are all nice the cherry flavour is by far and away the best tasting. The drink is very thirst-quenching and full of glucose and electrolytes, meaning that it is ideal for giving you an extra energy boost while exercising or for rehydrating yourself in hot weather, and is also useful for boosting concentration during lectures or whilst at work. Each bottle comes with a nozzle meaning that the bottle can be squeezed and the drink squirted, making it ideal for use when out jogging.
A four pack will set you back around £1.50, which at under 40 pence per bottle makes them far cheaper than their more upmarket brand equivalents Powerade and Lucozade. The drink's high sugar content means that it is not particularly healthy, but is ideal...

A Cheap Alternative Energy Drink
Advantages: Price, taste etc
Disadvantages: None really
...After seeing the stylish, attractive bottle, I had to give this a try! After trying it once, I have been buying it frequently ever since!
This is Tesco?s own version of a stimulation drink. I really love this stuff, especially when I add vodka too it! It tastes just like red bull, and I find that the only difference is the price. I thought I would let you know about it, and it?s great that Ciao accepted my product proposal for it!
Often enough there is a special offer on this, whether the cans or bottles. I usually buy a 1 litre bottle and it costs less than £1, which I find is very competitive. They also come in small cans, the size of other stimulation drinks for 48p, and can be bought in packs of six! At present, the offer is 2 packs of 6 for £5. This is more useful for drinking on the go, but for my purpose of mixing it in...

Working for Tesco
Advantages: Good pay, great benefits package
Disadvantages: Crap uniform, crap managers
...the drinks machines, or hot chocolate for 20p. There are also water and squash dispensers which you are free to use as you wish.
The setup of the staff restaurant will differ from store to store, but should consist of a main area with dining tables and chairs, and a coffee lounge area, with comfy chairs and coffee tables. Some stores also have a big screen TV in the staff restaurant.
Now my experience of the staff restaurant will differ to that of many Tesco staff, the main reason being that I work nights. When I first came to work at Tesco, there were no meals on a night, all you could get was whatever was in the vending machines, which were usually empty. The water and squash dispensers were never filled for nights, so we were basically left with hot drinks as our only option. After years of complaining about this, we now finally have hot...

Tesco trains
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: As good as original brands
...Santa bought my four year old the lovely mountain train set made by tesco. He desperately wanted a train set and when we were in Toysrus we would look at the brio sets and then look around the other toys. It was not unitl near to Christmas that I actually decided to look at the price. I was horrified to discover how expensive brio train sets were. I looked in several other shops ELC etc but they too were too expensive. I found a cheap set in ASDA but it did not seem to be compatabile with brio or even near to the quality, so I decided not to buy the train set from there either. When we were shopping in Tescos my son pointed out the train sets and took a real interest in a lovely mpuntain train set which had had a wooden train set, a little bridge, wooden animals, trees, tunnels, trains, carriages, sign and mountains all for £24...

Tesco supermarket
Advantages: A wide variety of well priced goods
Disadvantages: Toilets maybe need cleaning a little more often
...Tesco plc over the years has become a household name.
A gentleman by the name of Jack Cohen who hailed from East London founded the company in 1919.
The Tesco brand first appeared in 1924,when Jack Cohen bought a shipment of tea from T.E.Stockwell..he combined the first three letters of the name (TES) along with the first tow letters of his own surname (CO ) and formed the word `Tesco`.
Tesco started life as a retailer of food and drink, but recent years have seen Tesco diversify into other areas such as clothing, consumer electronics, financial services,CD`s ,music downloads,Internet service, telecoms, health insurance, dental plans, software and DVD`s.
In 2008 Tesco became the World`s fourth largest retailer, with profits exceeding 2 billion pounds.
The Tesco company employ over 273,000 people.

Tescos
Advantages: Great Value
Disadvantages: Puts local businesses under stress
...Tescos is King of all supermarkets and I think that they are best for value in the long term or in the big shop as well. As a student I have found that the tesco down the road from me is my new home, as opposed to the Centre up the road that can be so expensive some times in comparison.
Tescos sells your average grocerys as well as dvd's and electricals, clothes, office supplies, tobacco and confectionary, alcohol, cards for special occassions and toys. Everything you need seems to almost be in one store, there is also a tesco value line that provides Tescos own products at a cheaper price.
The staff in Tescos are always friendly where I come from in Cookstown, they always help you find something if your not quite sure where it is and always strike up a pleasant conversation at the help desk, though I understand that some...

Great Juice 2 Go By Tesco
Advantages: No added sugar, added vitamins, cheap, re-usable bottles
Disadvantages: None that I've found
...Despite my children being a fan of Robinson?s Fruit Shoot I personally find them very sweet and sickly, not to mention quite expensive unless on special offer or hunted down in my local Poundland shop and so my review is about a great alternative that will not only please the kids but also save you a few pennies.
/\/\/\/\Tesco Apple & Blackcurrant Juice Drinks/\/\/\/\
This juice is sold exactly the same as Fruit Shoots in small bottles with the same pop-up sports nozzle with a neat plastic cap that can be replaced to keep the nozzle free from those pesky flies etc. thus keeping it hygienic and clean until finished.
The plastic cap should be taken away from younger children though as it can cause a choking hazard! My son is 4 now but I still hold on to this bit when I open the juice, whether it?s just a boy thing I don?t know...

TESCO
Advantages: Friendlly people, easy job
Disadvantages: pay,staff benefits
...and mark you for how you interact with your customer, how you pack their bags - this is really easy to pass seeing as though the tester is stood right next to you, and how much does it cost for being polite to a customer - NOTHING.
The uniform is free and personally I liked it - I liked the blue shirts and wearing my skirt, however the women's pants were very unflattering and made my bottom look bigger than it already is!
I found the staff canteen reasonably priced - I used a cardinal card (where you insert money into a machine and it gave you "credit" to pay for my food so I didn't take money down onto the shop floor.
Also Tesco have poor rewards for their staff, they have a staff discount card of 10% - yes thats right 10%, they get rubbish pay rises and for Xmas they get Tesco vouchers!
For loyal service you MAY get a parker pen...

TESCO - Awesome Giant!
Advantages: Clubcard, Great Value, Large Stores some 24hr, Convenient, Friendly Staff
Disadvantages: Company too Big, Taking over, putting small shops out of business
...>------------------------------<
TESCO STORES PLC
>------------------------------<
>---------------<
Introduction
>---------------<
Tesco is one of the worlds largest companies, with supermarkets ranging the world over and products now far in excess of food and drink. To some, Tesco is a company that is too big for its boots, too powerful, and too manipulative over local areas. To an extent I am inclined to agree with them. Small shops which have been trading for decades, overhauled by the introduction of a large Tesco to the area. However, I am a huge fan of Tesco not just because I have a large 24hr Tesco at the end of my road but also I am in favour of the huge range of products and services that Tesco provide and the jobs that it brings to the local area. Clearly this review has the potential to go on forever, but please...
