Our Table Table at Carlisle Bordergate
Advantages: Unique design works well, quality pub food, reasonable prices.
Disadvantages: Close proximity to motorway makes outdoor eating a no no for me, tiny loo's.
...Table offer:
"A relaxed atmosphere with a range of tables and spaces to make your experience one to remember. Choose a table with luxurious laid-back sofas for a business meeting, a homely dining room space for a family celebration, or pull up a chair beside one of our burning log fires for a more romantic meal. Whatever the occasion, we have a table to suit."
Like Brewers Fayre, Table Table can often be found right next to a Premier Inn, A hotel partner, making it a good meeting place for business.
Looking at the map on the Table Table web page, there seems to be a lot of these Pub restaurants right across Britain, from Aberdeen to Plymouth, and Northern Ireland. Nearest restaurants, directions, full menu and more information can be found at www.tabletable.co.uk
Free parking is provided to guests at all restaurants...

I'd recommend a table at Table Table!
Advantages: Food presentation, good seating and decor, portion size, quality of food, vegetarian dishes
Disadvantages: Temperature of the restaurant, long waiting time, extras that weren't stated
...were the one that chose to sit there if you didn't like it - there's no one to blame!
Seating
So, the six of us looked around the restaurant, that was oddly quiet for the evening, and eventually decided on a lovely booth that was pretty secluded, but not too lonely, and took our seats. Although it appeared to be quiet, I think it is simply because of how huge the restaurant was. Trust me, the amount of tables is enormous! But despite this, there's a great amount of space between the tables, and are several secluded, larger tables for family or social gatherings. I remember from a previous evening at this restaurant over a year ago, we even got a table that was practically in its own room! I loved this, because we were still able to see other parts of the restaurant, so it wasn't too secluded, but it did make the meal seem more...

I love this chair!
Advantages: Excellent quality, really solid, baby can join in family meals at the table
Disadvantages: Personally haven't found any yet.....
...rail with strap which goes between the legs. You can then also buy a cushion which makes it very snug. With this baby kit in place, Max looks really secure and is very supported.
It's quite a slimline style, and fits into the kitchen table very snugly. There are loads of all-singing, all-dancing highchairs out there at the moment which are absolutely enormous and take up so much room. This is not one of those - in actual fact it looks fairly inconspicuous, just like an extra chair at the table which just happens to fit a baby in it! It doesn't fold up, but I would tend to argue that it doesn't need to as it just fits in with your existing table.
I love the fact that Max can sit at the table with us. At the moment he's only 5 months old so isn't feeding himself in any way (just making mess with his hands!), so when I'm actually feeding...

Working for Tesco
Advantages: Good pay, great benefits package
Disadvantages: Crap uniform, crap managers
...the drinks machines, or hot chocolate for 20p. There are also water and squash dispensers which you are free to use as you wish.
The setup of the staff restaurant will differ from store to store, but should consist of a main area with dining tables and chairs, and a coffee lounge area, with comfy chairs and coffee tables. Some stores also have a big screen TV in the staff restaurant.
Now my experience of the staff restaurant will differ to that of many Tesco staff, the main reason being that I work nights. When I first came to work at Tesco, there were no meals on a night, all you could get was whatever was in the vending machines, which were usually empty. The water and squash dispensers were never filled for nights, so we were basically left with hot drinks as our only option. After years of complaining about this, we now finally have hot...

Tripp Trapp Chair
Advantages: baby to adult use; good posture
Disadvantages: chair can be flipped by child; difficult to get cushions off
...My husband found this chair and we have been very happy with it. We live in a small house and have no where to store a high chair so we got this chair in black (to match our table) and it stays at the table with our chairs. Our son is now 12 months old and we have been using it with him since he was 6 months. We have never used the restraints on it and our son has always sat very upright in it. Other high chairs that he has sat in, he has slumped forward in. This one keeps him in excellent posture. It sits right up to the table and is a perfect height. He sits with us at the table at lunch and dinner and he feels more part of the family. The Tripp Trapp is supposed to encourage good eating habits and manners from an early age as the baby eats at the table with you instead of to the side with a tray. The cost is justified by...

Stokke Tripp Trapp Chair
Advantages: Easy to clean, Long lasting, Good support for child
Disadvantages: Altering seat/foot plates
...of colours to suit your tastes too.
The main aim of the chair is so your baby/child can sit up at the table with you, (there is no food tray) therefore encouraging your little one to join in with the family and feel a part of what is going on. the way the highchair has been designed means that it doesn't take up much space and is solid so won't tip over. it is pleasant to look at so doesn't have to be hidden away. the main design with the seat and foot plate is that they can be moved up or down to accomodate your child's size, encouraging them to sit up straight and with their feet on a base rather than hanging freely. Most highchairs i've seen, the child ends up sitting slouched or has slid down and ends up in a twisted position.
The wood is easy to clean, and the covers are washable, although it is harder to take the seat cushion off...

Tesco trains
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: As good as original brands
...Santa bought my four year old the lovely mountain train set made by tesco. He desperately wanted a train set and when we were in Toysrus we would look at the brio sets and then look around the other toys. It was not unitl near to Christmas that I actually decided to look at the price. I was horrified to discover how expensive brio train sets were. I looked in several other shops ELC etc but they too were too expensive. I found a cheap set in ASDA but it did not seem to be compatabile with brio or even near to the quality, so I decided not to buy the train set from there either. When we were shopping in Tescos my son pointed out the train sets and took a real interest in a lovely mpuntain train set which had had a wooden train set, a little bridge, wooden animals, trees, tunnels, trains, carriages, sign and mountains all for £24...

More than just another high chair
Advantages: Grows with your child
Disadvantages: No tray
...A Stokke Tripp Trapp chair is a well designed piece of furniture that will last long after your child has grown up and left home.
I bought mine when my baby was 6 months old complete with the baby kit for around £125.00. It was simple to assemble and feels very sturdy and stable. Alex was comfortable in it from to word go, and it blends in well with the rest of our furniture. It is available in a large range of wood finishes to blend in with any decor.
The high chair is designed without a tray so that you child gets used to eating at the table with the rest of the family from an early age. I was very wary of this at first and almost didn't purchase it for that reason but I must say that I have not missed the tray one little bit.
As your child grows, the baby kit can be removed turning it into an ordinary chair which you can...

tesco citrus zest room fragrance
Advantages: cheap,smells nice
Disadvantages: none
...whilst doing my weekly shop i decided to buy some airfreshener,i dont usualy bother i just burn scented candles.but as my cat had just had 5 kittens and my house wasn't smelling too good so eventualy i settled on tesco citrus zest.
*packaging*
it comes in a 300ml can which is a lovely orange and yellow colour (mostly orange )with a faint flower design on the front.this can has a press down spray button which reaches higher places.
*the product*
this is what tesco say on the can"this lively, zesty fragrance has been specially selected to neutralise malodours and bring a citrus twist of freshness into your home". this is very true it makes your house sell so fresh and does help with bad smells.when i brought this i did think the smell might be a little too strong as im not really a citrus person i normaly go for vanilla sents...

The Captains Table, Molyvos, Lesvos.
Advantages: Wonderful food, service, with great view.
Disadvantages: Nothing to write about.
...Google ?The Captain?s Table? Lesvos and you can read the following:
?The Captain?s Table is reputed to be one of the finest of its kind in all Greece - don?t just take our word for it - see what ?The Lonely Planet?, ?The Rough Guide?, and the famous American ?Frommers? and numerous other international guide books have to say.?
We have just been to Lesvos for two weeks and we ate at The Captains Table 6 nights out of the 14 and 1 night we could not get a table. I add that we where a group of 7 of us so finding a table for 2 is a lot easier.
During the course of our stay we must have had everything on the menu.
They have a special every day of the week, salmon, hake, stuffed pork.
Our menu and cost for one evening was as follows:
Mushroom a le grec, which Ann and Dougie had and Ann had each night we went. Tzatziki...
