Tesco trains
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: As good as original brands
...Santa bought my four year old the lovely mountain train set made by tesco. He desperately wanted a train set and when we were in Toysrus we would look at the brio sets and then look around the other toys. It was not unitl near to Christmas that I actually decided to look at the price. I was horrified to discover how expensive brio train sets were. I looked in several other shops ELC etc but they too were too expensive. I found a cheap set in ASDA but it did not seem to be compatabile with brio or even near to the quality, so I decided not to buy the train set from there either. When we were shopping in Tescos my son pointed out the train sets and took a real interest in a lovely mpuntain train set which had had a wooden train set, a little bridge, wooden animals, trees, tunnels, trains, carriages, sign and mountains all for £24...

Working for Tesco
Advantages: Good pay, great benefits package
Disadvantages: Crap uniform, crap managers
...them, and if you leave them in the trust for 5 years, you won't have to pay tax on them.
Pension Scheme - You can join the pension scheme regardless of how long you have worked at Tesco. You pay in 4% of your pre-tax earnings, and Tesco pays in more than twice this amount on your behalf. The scheme also gives you the option to take out a tax-free lump sum on retirement, and pays a pension to your partner and any dependant children in the case of your death before retirement.
Life Assurance - Even if you are not a member of the pension scheme, as an Tesco employee you are covered by life assurance, which means that if you die whilst employed by Tesco, the person you nominate will receive a lump sum payment equal to your annual earnings. If you are in the pension scheme, the payment will be 3 times your annual earnings.

The Complete Bed
Advantages: Quick to inflate
Disadvantages: Cover may not be sufficient for the winter months
...?
Yes you can just by following the washing instructions that are sewn in on the inside of the cover, and the inflatable mattress is wipe clean
The size of the bed itself is 155cm x 67cm x 20cm which was the right size for Ben, but on the box and the instructions it instructs that it is designed for children from three upwards.
If you don't inflate the bed fully, you can use it as a chair which I thought was quite a novel idea. I also found that if you pumped the bed up too much the pillow became too hard. The cover isn't extremely thick so I would advise that if you use it in the winter and you live in a fairly cold house, to throw on an extra cover or two. We first used ours in the summer months and found it just right for Ben.
The instructions came with a few warnings to, for example keep away from fire and other heat sources...

It's a Bed...
Advantages: Easy to put together, great price
Disadvantages: See review
...For some reason, Mum always liked having a spare bedroom. We live in a 4 bedroom house, and originally, there was the Master room for mum, then a bedroom for my sister, and me and my two brothers shared the next room, leaving another free. Jaimie then moved out, leaving her room free, and Robert moved into the previously spare room. Liam and I then shared rooms. That was back in 1994 or something, and we kept sharing from then on. Eventually, however, it got to the point where we were a bit too old to be sharing a room, and so I kicked Liam out into the spare room, where he slept on a sofa. That was about 2006, and things were fine. I took apart the bunkbeds, and had one, while he was content with the settee.
The first thing on our lists of needed things, was a new bed. Liam needed a bed point blank, and I wanted to get a double bed...

Tescos
Advantages: Great Value
Disadvantages: Puts local businesses under stress
...Tescos is King of all supermarkets and I think that they are best for value in the long term or in the big shop as well. As a student I have found that the tesco down the road from me is my new home, as opposed to the Centre up the road that can be so expensive some times in comparison.
Tescos sells your average grocerys as well as dvd's and electricals, clothes, office supplies, tobacco and confectionary, alcohol, cards for special occassions and toys. Everything you need seems to almost be in one store, there is also a tesco value line that provides Tescos own products at a cheaper price.
The staff in Tescos are always friendly where I come from in Cookstown, they always help you find something if your not quite sure where it is and always strike up a pleasant conversation at the help desk, though I understand that some...

bed ready made
Advantages: handy for sleepovers
Disadvantages: no pillow and expensive
...or simple just let the air out slowley by leaving it there. Air is let in and out via a flex hose (the type you get on an inflatable ball)
It also comes with a handy carry bag so the child can actually carry the bed to where they are staying
Essential information
It says this bed is suitable for children aged between 2 and 5 but to be honest I dont think an average five year old would fit in this bed as my nearly two yr old practically fills it now.
The matress is not to be used as a life saving device. Although most of us adults would never try and use it for that reason Im sure they dont tell you that info for the good of their health.
They do come in various sizes. The next size is for juniors and then for teenagers so very handy if you child of any age stays away from home.
I would recommend this product as its very good when...

chho choo lets play with our tesco wooden train
Advantages: cheaper than brio
Disadvantages: nearly as good as brio
...by Tesco and has a few special trains by Brio.
I think the tesco train set is quite well made and will last several childrens play and when my grand children have finished playing with it I think it will be put away for my great grandchildren as it is a classic toy and will still have play value in 20 years time.
This train set will encourage imaginary play, and co-operative play between siblings.
This set will encourage language development if you play with your child push the train along, under, over, stop and start the engines. The set will help develop spatial awareness, as you need a large free space on the floor to spread out the train on. It is possible just to make a small circle for the table, but its not so much fun.
This set will develop building skills arranging the best track system. There are trees and stations...

All aboard the Tesco train
Advantages: Cheap, well made, compatible with other brands
Disadvantages: none i can see
...I have 6 young nephews all are train mad and the all have the ELC train sets. You know the ones I mean wooden tracks and engines that cost a fortune.
Well come Chritmas and birthdays buying for them all is a nightmare so i usually end up getting them additions to their trainsets but find the early learning ones a bit pricy, a single engine is around £5 and a set of 4 wooden people will se you back £4.
So while doing me grocery shopping I decided to stop off at the toy secion in Tesco to see if there was anything suitable for nephew who was turning 3 years old. It was here I discovered that Tesco do a wooden train set which is compatible with other brands. After very close inspection I decided it looked just as good quality as the ELC and for a fraction of the price. On this occasion I bought a zoo train which included an engine, 3...

Beds.... Eventually
Advantages: good deals, good quality
Disadvantages: little contact from the delivery depot
...I ordered a bed from Bensons in Horwich back in February of this year, when I initially placed the order I was living in Harrogate in staff accomodation, I had spoken to my temp manager and she was OK with me having my own bed and as my room was large enough for a double I decided thats what I would go for. But due to the leave dates for the job I had the earliest I could get it delivered was going to be the 19th March almost 6 weeks away. But the deal I was getting was very good and I was in no real hurry. So I paid my deposit and waited.
Then as mentioned in other places I was transferred from Harrogate to Lydd and obviously delievery to North Yorkshire was no good when I was living in Kent, so I called them as firstly asked if I could cancel the order but was told politely but firmly that it wouldn't be possible as my contract...
