...This may not seem like the usual critique of a movie on DVD, but since this film has been available on DVD for some time, I thought I’d alert you to an interesting re-issue of the disk, with some added (some might say taken away) features. If you’re looking for a blow-by-blow account of the movie itself look elsewhere.
I’d seen The Fast & The Furious before, lent to me by my neighbour who likes this kind of thing. Well, he’s got a 42” widescreen set monitor and DTS sound with an extra woofer, and boy, can it woof!
My own home cinema’s no slouch either, and it’s a good job that our two ‘semis’ are the ‘halls adjoining’ kind
TF&TF is an ideal movie for showing off your equipment, and so it was with some interest that I noticed the emergence of the so-called ‘SUPERBIT’ version of the DVD, retailing for £9.99.

Advantages: Good animation, nicely paced. Disadvantages: Continuity errors. A little staid in some places.
...Imagine a film with the classic battle of good vs evil. Build a cast with names like Leonard Nimoy, Eric Idle and Robert Stack. Cast Orson Welles as your bad guy and give the whole thing a great Rock soundtrack.
Believe it or not, when you watch Transformers: The Movie that is what you'll get. And in general, it's a nicely put together piece of work.
Based on one of the biggest toy lines of the 80's, TF:TM was an enjoyable Science Fiction tale, recounting the latest exploit in the war between the Heroic Autobots, and the Evil Decepticons.
After a devestating battle between the two factions, a new threat turns up in the form of a (Death Star Like) monster planet. The decepticons are quickly brought under it's sway, so it is up to the autobots to save the day.
Don't expect Shakespeare here, this is a film made pretty...

Yes this is one of those movies that I watch and no one has even heard of!
Blade Runner and The Fifth Element stole ideas from this director-comic writer (Like Matrix did from Ghost in the shell - Akira).
