...Are you ready for a thrilling review on a TFT screen cleaner? And not just any old TFT screen cleaner, what we have here is a pot of no less than one hundred TFT and LCD Screen cleaning tissues. Excited? I hope you are, because believe it or not this is exciting stuff. Having parted with well over three hundred pounds for a brand new Philips TFT monitor a couple of months ago I proceeded to make the screen smeary with the use of a common can of furniture polish, well it works on the TV why wouldn’t it work on the monitor? Well, it didn’t work, no matter how hard I polished and rubbed the smears would not disperse, Argh, it was like looking through a curtain! Advantages: cheap, good quality laptop with decent features, upgradable.
Disadvantages: no bluetooth. memory will need upgrading if moving on to Windows Vista

...First off what an easy to use laptop full of built in features for a very reasonable price ( £349.99 upwards) was £380 when i purchased mine but is worth every penny. Why people pay in excess of £500 for machines with a lower spec is beyond me. Acer have come a long way in providing great quality laptops at a lower price. on first run you follow the setup options and then it recommends you create a restore disc i did this using 2 blank dvd's with ease just following the on screen instructions. once this was complete i did the windows updates to get it fully upto date. The inbuilt wireless adapter (Atheros AR5005G Wireless Network Adapter) connects so easy to my wireless network with a reasonable range even in the garden. The 15.4" WXGA wide CrystalBrite TFT LCD Display is just as good as its name suggests (crystal) it displays... Read review

Advantages: Cheap, but still an excellent quality monitor, 12 ms response time
Disadvantages: Built in speakers, monitor wobbles with the stand

.... Another unlike able point is that of the odd designed it tends to let the monitor wobble a bit, for example if you have your printer on the same desk or if you give it a tap. But it's really not an issue as you don't go around tapping your monitor or printing documents constantly. I would highly recommend this monitor to any one it's as good as any well known manufacture, but much cheaper if your looking for a 17 inch monitor for all round media use this is the TFT for you.... ...I decided to replace my 19" CRT monitor for home use. Using a 17" TFT at work, I found the resolution ont hat more than adequate. Research on prices on the web showed that this Digimate monitor was the most reasonable, with the right features. I was particularly attracted by the angle adjustment, and the built-in speakers. Ordering was extremly simple - I used a company called aria - and the cost was £123 inc VAT. I had the screen delivered to my work address, which was no problem for their on-line ordering system. The product arrived promptly and well packaged. Configuration onto my system was easy - very much a simple plug and play, as you would expect these days. ...I finally had the opportunity to buy a TFT Flat Panel Display and after reading many, many reviews found that the Samsung 172 T was the one for me. I wanted something affordable and professional, and got exactly that. Gone are the days when my old chunky monitor took up half of my desk space. The design in ultra slim, ultra stylish and ultra sexy (in the mundane world of computers anyway!). The actual thickness of the TFT from front to back is no more than one inch. A dramatic change from conventional monitors. As a Photographer and Designer who uses programs such as PhotoShop, Flash, Illustrator etc. I needed a better than excellent image quality.
