LG L1917s tft monitor
Review of LG L1917S by
spike25
Advantages: good refresh rate, good quality
Disadvantages: no dvi input
...Looking for a decent monitor can be confusing when there is such alot to choose from.
I was looking for a tft monitor for a week, searching the internet and visiting my local computer stores to get the best bargain but at the same time get a quality monitor.
I then found the LG monitor which was cheap enough for me at £159.99 but still had the quality of some of the more expensive tft's out there.
With a 8 millisecond refresh rate it was upto the needs of my myself as i play alot of games. This refresh rate was a lot lower than most of the £180-£230 monitors i was looking at.
The 19" screen is crisp and clear with a small plastic silver surrounding making it look bigger than it really is. It looks stylish and stands on a small black oval stand which keeps it steady in those moments of gaming anger..
The front panel has...

LG Flatron L1520B - A fashion Statement
Review of LG L1520B by
gusgusrule
Advantages: Extremely stylish, Excellent Quality, Exceptional graphics
Disadvantages: A little expensive, A less well known brand
...I decided it was time to update my home monitor. I already had a TFT monitor but it was from the early days when they had just been introduced so it was rather bland looking, beige in colour and the quality was not up to todays standards. When going out to buy a new monitor I wanted an exceptional quality picture, a stylish sleek design and something that would not go out of fashion quite so quickly, and the LG Flatron L1520B met all these requirements.
----------
Design
----------
"Fashion" I hear you suprised, what is this bloke on about, since when have monitors had anything to do with fashion. Well incase you hadn't noticed, the past couple of years or so, monitors have become increasingly desirable in design and image. Out with the beige bulky boxes, in with the flat silver stylish designs. And there are an increasing...

LG Studioworks Works Well
Review of LG 57M by
ben-lloyd
Advantages: Integrated speakers and microphone, good picture
Disadvantages: Small, CRT, questionable build quality
...~~~ Appearance ~~~
Looking like most 15" monitors the 57M from LG has no real distinguishing features bar the two speakers built into the sides of the monitor and covered with a blue-grey fabric. The monitor is encased in beige plastic and has six buttons used to carry out various functions (like turning it on!). In the centre of the casing at the front is a small grille located behind which is the integrated microphone LG proudly boast of. There is also a small LED to indicate whether the monitor has power and also two dials mounted on the underside of the front casing to control brightness and contrast.
At the rear of the unit is the ubiquitous 15-pin VGA lead and kettle socket for power. There are also two small 3.5mm jacks for connecting the speakers and microphone to the relevant ports on your PC. An additional bonus...

The LG U8120
Review of LG U8120 by
Darkhodge
Advantages: Cheap
Disadvantages: Very unreliable!
.... Downloaded ones however are of better quality.
------------------------
Colour Screen
The screen itself is very good. It is very big (220 x 176 pixels) and supports a wide range of colours (65,536 TFT). It is one of the best screens on a phone I have seen.
------------------------
Internal Memory
The phone has an internal memory of 32MB which can be used to store your messages, photos, videos, games, and audio (music, voice recorder etc...) This is suffice if you regularly backup everything from your phone onto your computer.
------------------------
Good Battery
The phone uses a Lithium-polymer battery, which has a very long battery life and since it's lithium, is small, light and can be charged without damaging the battery at anytime (some batteries you should empty before charging to avoid reducing the life span...

LG Studioworks 77M
Review of LG 77M by
richard_richard
Advantages: Decent picture quality, affordable
Disadvantages: Heavy, large dimensions
...addition.
Reliability wise, this monitor was used for about 18 months by the user without encountering any problems. It was recently swapped over for a 17” TFT monitor, so had nothing to do with the actual performance of the monitor, it just took up too much room! In the past I have found the LG Electronics products to be of a decent quality, so I would imagine this monitor would have run reliably for a good while before needed to be replaced.
Conclusion
This is a good value monitor, if you can pick one up. It has a good screen image, decent sound quality and proves reliable performance. The only downside is the bulky construction of the unit, which means it takes up a fair amount of space and a handful to move around!
Thanks for reading!...

LG L226WTQ-SF: a five star widescreen monitor.
Review of LG L226WTQ-SF by
TheDuke
Advantages: 22", Widescreen, good looking, excellent image quality, good moving image
Disadvantages: No height adjustment, erm... it wasn't free?
..., using my TV card and playing the odd action game.
Over the months, I had selected and discounted probably around half a dozen monitors for various reasons. Finally, I came across a range of LG widescreen TFT monitors on eBuyer that looked suitable. The L226WTQ-SF stood out due to its 3000:1 contrast ratio (the ratio of the brightest and darkest images a display can reproduce), but that wasn't the only good feature. The specs quoted a 2 ms response time (the amount of time the display takes to change from transparent to opaque), which was important to me, though unimportant if all you do is office work and surf the internet.
Monitor Set up
Setting up was a breeze. All I really had to do was just plug the provided cable into my graphics card and boot the PC. The monitor came with two cables, one for each type...

LG U8110 - the best 3G phone on three so far.
Review of LG U8110 by
johngeorge
Advantages: Video Calling,Video Capture, MP3 Player, Data Cable Connectivity,Java application compatibility,Internal multi-detail phonebook with support for avatar or photo caller ID
Disadvantages: No WAV playback, No Internet Access, No Applications Access, No Bluetooth support
...(IR) port respectively located above and below. At the base is the multi-purpose port used by the included travel charger and USB data cable.
Finally, located on the front of the clamshell is the external black-and-white sub display, camera flashlight, and the loudspeaker module used by the video player and video calling functions, as well as the playback of ringtones and keypad sounds.
The ultra-bright TFT screen, capable of vividly displaying up to 65,536 colours, the U8110 has the best display output out of all the 2G/3G dual-mode phone-only handsets I've tried.
The external screen, a full graphics black-and-white LCD, is capable of displaying information on the current phone status (battery and signal levels, roaming indicator, current profile icon, network name), date and time details, and phone activity details (incoming...

My review on LG U8120
Review of LG U8120 by
sweetie_babe9
Advantages: stylish design, Functions all easy to use and find. Clear screen and quaity pictures.
Disadvantages: The ringtons when you first get the phone are not great, problems connecting to pc.
...Great phone in my eyes. I've had my phone since january this year- like many others i chose it off a site that was adversting a great deal- 500 anytime minutes and 100 text per month, for as little as £4.99. And yes it is true, but how it works is you pay upfront, £20 per month and then send your 6th bill and they refund you the money.
The phone is great. My second camera phone, but first video phone. Camera quality is great, and the video is fantastic. I even recorded a consent i was at a few weeks back, not expecting it to be that good of quailty, but i was over the moon.
