Good quality TFT monitor at reasonable cost

...I decided to replace my 19" CRT monitor for home use. Using a 17" TFT at work, I found the resolution ont hat more than adequate. Research on prices on the web showed that this Digimate monitor was the most reasonable, with the right features. I was particularly attracted by the angle adjustment, and the built-in speakers. Ordering was extremly simple - I used a company called aria - and the cost was £123 inc VAT. I had the screen delivered to my work address, which was no problem for their on-line ordering system. The product arrived promptly and well packaged. Configuration onto my system was easy - very much a simple plug and play, as you would expect these days. A brilliant desktop TFT monitor.

Advantages: Great performance, resolution capabilities, looks
Disadvantages: lack of speakers, no DVI or S Video connectivity

That why when my developers were asking for more screen resolution to maximise their working space, we needed 19 inch monitors that could not only give a bigger picture but also offer larger resolutions than the industry standard 1024 x 768 most flat screens seem to offer. Excellent TFT for an Excellent price

Advantages: Cheap, but still an excellent quality monitor, 12 ms response time
Disadvantages: Built in speakers, monitor wobbles with the stand

.... Another unlike able point is that of the odd designed it tends to let the monitor wobble a bit, for example if you have your printer on the same desk or if you give it a tap. But it's really not an issue as you don't go around tapping your monitor or printing documents constantly. I would highly recommend this monitor to any one it's as good as any well known manufacture, but much cheaper if your looking for a 17 inch monitor for all round media use this is the TFT for you....

Are You Smart Enough?

...I knew from the outset that i would be one of those paranoid mum's constantly worrying about my baby & wondering if he was still breathing through the night, so I invested in the Angelcare monitor with movement sensor mat. The set includes a 'baby unit', 'parent unit' & movement sensor mat. The mat is placed under baby's mattress (if like mine, the base of the cot is slatted, or you're using it in such a moses basket, then you will need to place the mat on a firm surface such as a piece of plywood under the mattress), & is so sensitive that it can detect even the lightest of breathing. The mat connects to the baby unit which then transmits to the parent unit. If no movement (yes, even light breathing counts as movement) is detected for 20 seconds, an alarm sounds on both the baby & parent units, enabling time to get to your baby...

...Recently the video baby monitors that I had been given (second hand) gave up the ghost so I had to purchase a new set. I decided that I didn't need a video one again or one with any other fancy gimmick on it (one that plays a melody etc), I wanted a nice basic and reasonable cheap monitor just so I could hear when she wakes up in a morning etc. After looking online at the hundreds of monitors available (most of which are very expensive) I found the Tomy Walkabout Classic Advance and after reading a couple of reviews I decided that this one should do the job just fine. A Quality Monitor

Advantages: Many functions, clear sound, no interference, talk back

...The Di-Fusion 19" TFT monitor is a screen for the computer, just like the one you're staring at now. If you still have a CRT (TV sized monitors), then the one I'm reviewing is a flat version of that. CRT's are outdated and flat screens are fast becoming the standard. The Di-Fusion has a silver frame with black everywhere else. The screen is easy to set up and involves connecting the screen to the 'foot' so it can stand, connecting the VGA cable from the PC's graphics card to the monitor, power and sound cable to your PC (optional). I think the silver plastic looks a bit cheap but only if I look closely. Like most TFT monitors, you can physically adjust the angle of the screen by tilting it. Angel care baby monitor set my mind at rest!

Advantages: easy to use, flexible, gives peace of mind

...This product was a definite good purchase! I was quite overwhelmed with how much choice there was in the market as to which baby monitor to buy and I settled on this one as it sounded ideal. The product is a senor pad which detects tiny movements and will alarm after 20 seconds if there has been no movement so, for example, if your baby stopped breathing an alarm would go off after 20 seconds alerting you to this. The sensory pad is a flat square which you place underneath the cot mattress so it isn't bulky or uncomfortable for the baby to lie on. The pad is attached to the monitor which is really easy to use.
