...I purchased my Hansol H550 TFT LCD Monitor back in September 2003 and paid around £220 for it. I have always used CRT based monitors before and now having experienced LCD monitors, I wouldn’t turn back. The Hansol H550 in my experience has an excellent display, with a maximum resolution of 1024 x 768 @ 75mhz. It has a 15” screen and because it is a TFT LCD Monitor you actually get to see the full 15” of screen, whereas on CRT based monitors you only usually get 13.2 – 13.8” viewable. Built into the monitor are two speakers, which are place directly under the screen in the bottom left and right hand corners. ...Well as things may be, this is my first time of using a lilliput monitor and I have seen that it is of the high quality type. The LCD monitor is capable of projecting high quality pictures and with bright colour display. The lillliput are the professional manufacturers of most TFT LCD monitors. Now lets come down to the monitor's capabilities and features. The monitor also comes with a touch screen technology and with a touch pen included, that is quite marvelous and interesting to use and on the other hand comes with a remote control wireless and with built in audio, which produces high quality and likable sound. The monitor also has English on screen display menu and with programmable auto on features. Well I got this some couple of moths ago and have not gotten any problem with it so far. ...I've had this monitor for 18 months now - and as it was my first venture into the TFT/LCD flatscreen world, I was apprehensive about the quality of picture/dead pixels etc. I needn't have worried, it shipped without any dead pixels and the picture is fabulous. I had to adjust some of the default contrast/brightness settings as the white of Internet Explorer was far too bright! But this was easily done using the intuitive controls/menu system. Basics first - if you're looking for a flatscreen, you're basically looking to save space on your desk - the difference is immense, I never thought it would be but it allows me to store DVD cases of my games behind it and generally be alot more tidier. ...Baby Walkabout Advance from Tomy Living in a flat I felt I did not really need the most high tech and expensive of monitors and just needed one that really did the job. I was looking at all the ones available to buy on Amazon and this one sprang out at me. It was not the cheapest monitor going but it certainly was not the most expensive either. Monitors range from about £15 up to an astonishing £100 plus. The latest ones out on the market offer a television screen where you are actually able to see your baby as well as hear their sounds and monitor room temperature. I feel however the television screen is a little bit much and think I would find myself glued to the screen while all the time away from the baby. This particular baby monitor set me back only £29. I think this is a fair price for what you are getting... Read review

...We all read and hear about cot death nearly everywhere we go - it is in the papers, on billboards, everywhere... So as a new mother and reading and hearing about these sort of things, it is quite natural to want to have a bit of constant security in knowing that your baby is sleeping safe and sound in his or her cot. Therefore I bought the Fisher-Price Sounds & Lights Monitor at Babies 'R US. At the time I thought that it was a good deal at £25.00 because it claimed to do everything that I expected a good monitor to do. The Fisher-Price Sounds and Lights monitor claims to have a variable light display that lets you see the sounds the baby makes. There are 5 lights displayed on the parent's monitor which are meant to allow you to see the baby's level of activity, but, after 4 months, I am still waiting to see how this actually... Read review

...was in the garden hanging out the washing or gardening. The parent handset will alert you with a beep if you go ‘out of range’ or if the main unit has been disconnected. The monitor has 120 channels which enable you to have crystal clear sound interference free none of that cracking in the background which you can experience on a cheaper two channel monitor. Once you have plugged in the monitors the auto select will select the correct channel for your home. I found the digital temperature gauge on the LCD display screen very useful in both summer and winter, the monitor displays the temperature on both the main unit and the parents handset.
