Advantages: Gorgeous piece of kit

...It's over a year since I wrote this opinion, and I've had the bike since January 2002, so I think it's time for a bit of an update, which appears at the bottom: Steel is dead. Unless you buy a £100 bike from Argos you'd buy an aluminium bike, or even if you were feeling flush, titanium or carbon fibre, right? Steel is so outdated for mountain bikes. Wrong. The Orange P7 is a rare thing these days. A mass produced, fairly posh steel bike. In fact, I've just got rid of an aluminium bike in order to get hold of this one, and I love it dearly. I've never loved a bike the way that I love my P7. The company aren't one of the really big boys. Based in Halifax, they are largely unheard of in many countries. Many Orange bikes are made in the UK, but this tends to be their full suspension bikes, rigid bikes are welded together... Read review

Advantages: Steel frame gives a compliant ride with plenty of feel
Disadvantages: not the lightest.

...As I'm an existing owner of a P7 already, many people might think the decision to buy a new one was more than a little strange. And I suppose they might be right. Why spend £1,000 on a new bike, when I could upgrade my existing one? Well, for starters, although my existing bike had some nice kit on it, it was getting a little long in the tooth at six years old. The one thing I did like (or rather LOVE) about it though, was the steel frame. While my existing bike was fully rigid, it still flexed enough to make it comfortable and not at all harsh off road. However, I still felt it was time to get front suspension. And so the quest for a new, steel, front susser began. Advantages: Good when dry, good in the wet.

...Twice now, in a fairly short space of time, I have acquired a full set of tyres for my car, and the particular brand this time was Pirelli P7s. I was reminded of the fact that mine being sixteen inch, were a little more expensive than fifteens, or even seventeens! Apparently this is due to supply and demand, they don't make quite so many sixteen inch tyres. These were fitted on Vauxhall alloys, and all balancing weights were on the inside, where they should be, why is it most fitters put them on the outside? I have shopped around, in local tyre fitters as well as on the net, and I know that there are many places selling bargain price tyres, but you also have to pay for delivery, and fitting, then balancing, plus a new valve, and there is a charge for disposal of your old tyres. ...Having trawled through hundreds of reviews, I finally decided on the Sony P7. It seemed to offer a great array of features and quality, matched by the greatness that we all know Sony to be. First impressions of the camera once out of the box are good. It feels solid, well made, and although not exactly heavy, it has a certain weight about it that makes me think it is a quality item. Looking at the contents of the box reveal a lithium-ion battery, charger, 16Mb Memory Stick, USB cable, and a CD containing drivers and software. The battery is Sony’s own proprietary format, namely infoLITHIUM. What this means is that the battery provides information on exactly how long it will last in minutes – no more little progress bars. I have found this information to be very accurate, and far more useful than say having a little battery icon... Read review

.... But in order to do this he needs assistance, he has just returned from New York from a meeting with top businessmen who for financial help will get a share of Shand's London Empire. Yes I know what your thinking, grand plan it will never take off ;o) seriously though it's an interesting vision of the future from a 1979 perspective, especially when plans for the development were not instigated to nearly 1982. So while not only being a pretty good movie it was already predicting the future of London. You'll notice that I stated 1979, when this brand new DVD release states 25th anniversary edition; well this little story is best left for the DVD to tell you but basically on completion of the movie back in 1979 a legal war kicked off preventing the movie from seeing cinema's for 2 years. ...The 11th hour is in my opinion is the best pc stratagy game of all time. It is the follow up from the 7th guest which is also one of the best. basically in the 11th hour you are a reporter called Carl Denings and you have to find your producer who went missing in the Staulf mansion, in the 7th guest Staulf is a poor man who robs from the rich and robs from the poor and one night Staulf has a dream of a doll so he made the doll, he became rich because of the doll, then he had another dream of a house so he built the house. The childeren that owned Staulf dolls started dieing so Staulf confined himself to his mansion. Then in the 7th guest he has a sort of party and you are the 7th guest so you have to solve puzzles to escape the house. Advantages: Soulful R&B album, some good tunes

...Having recently released her second single ‘Free’ at the end of September, ‘The 18th Day…’ is the follow up album from Brit-hop’s latest offering – Estelle. Her debut single ‘1980’ landed in our charts at a mere no. 14, but received enough air play to make Estelle a fairly well known name in the land of UK RnB. The album definitely has a more RnB edge to it than the rap/hip-hop flava Estelle fed us with her first two singles. Advantages: They are very cheap
Disadvantages: You have to deal with Royal Sun Alliance to make a claim

...not replace a tube once it had gone, so the man from Royal Sun Alliance took my TV away to asses the damage. I was advised I would hear from there representative in 7 days but oh no after 2 weeks of non stop calling and leaving voicemails on his mobile he finally called he said that I had to chose a Television from Currys Plc but the TV I bought was not from Currys and they did not have the colour I wanted either so I myself had to phone around for quotes on the TV I wanted, More Th>an’s policy say’s that ‘the same Item will be replaced where one is available’ (if the stock has not been discontinued). I was getting very annoyed by that point so after 5 weeks I finally received a cheque for my TV less the £100 excess I agreed to. I really rate More Th>n as they are friendly and there customer service is excellent but I think they should cut out... Read review
