...Flight 93 is something that I do not believe we will ever fully understand, not because of our limitations to cope with the facts but because the facts will not in my opinion ever be revealed to us. The events which occurred on 9/11 have been subject to much speculation and cause for many conspiracy theories, the film ?Flight 93? was created to show us ?what happened? on one of the planes whilst in the sky. Please Note Before reading this review please accept that I will be comparing the film with theories, facts and my opinions and therefore a review of the whole subject may become apparent, also due to the media coverage of this event I must stress that this is more of a documentary than a film and therefore the plot will be revealed in my text. Amazing Thailand

Advantages: Something for everyone
Disadvantages: So much to do, so little time

...I first went to Thailand in October 2001. I went on a two centre holiday there - Bangkok for 4 nights and Phuket for 10 nights. I have decided that because there is so much to put about all the things we (my husband and I) did and saw, I am only going to concentrate on our stay in Bangkok. Firstly, October is the end of the rainy season and so the price we paid was very good. I don't remember the exact figure but it was in the region of £1500.00 altogether. The booking was with Thomas Cook Signature Holidays, and included return flights to and from Manchester to Heathrow, Bangkok and Phuket, also included was private car transfers to and from the Thai airports and hotels and hotel accommodation (a three and a half star hotel in Bangkok - The Hotel Asia, and a four star hotel in Phuket - The Kata Thani Hotel and Beach Resort...

Advantages: Clear direction signs, unique sight of a golf course in the middle of the runways
Disadvantages: Long walks, uncomfortable seats

...I have used dial a flight on a number of occasions now, and have always been impressed with their service. I found them on a web site, but as the title suggests you cannot book the flights over the internet. The web site gives you a quote for your flight and the telephone number. Quite often though when you get through to them and quote the price there is a drawback to the price. When I was generally looking around for a flight to Alicante for my son about 6 weeks ago, I found this what seemed a really good deal, £49 return!!! I rang Dial a flight and found that he would have had to travel first to Barcelona and then onto Alicante. A bit of a marathon for a short flight really, even though the price was brilliant. It does not mention these things on the web site. However I am actually writing an op on the telephone service so...

Amazing Thailand

Disadvantages: Be aware of scams.

...Thailand for me has everything you could possible wish for. One day you could be partying until 7.30 in the morning then the next you could be wandering around a temple only hearing the occasional gong or wind chimes. With just a one and a half hours flight from BKK you can be on the Paradise Islands of Samui, Phuket etc. I would recommend leaving the usual tourist places for a while and traveling out to the more rural areas such as Chiang Mai, Isan etc. The people here are the kindest and most generous people I have ever known. Some people I have met have had nothing, but still managed to give me a gift to remember them by. Wherever you go people are always willing to help, give you a smile or a wave as you pass on by. Flight to Mars.

Advantages: Not too bad.

...Flight to Mars. Evil Martians plotting to invade the Earth. A space ship is launched for the first landing on Mars. But when they get there Mars is full of Martians and they are not the friendliest bunch. The Martians are running low on all of their resources and plan to invade and occupy the Earth. Flight Plan - Everyone thinks she's crazy.

Advantages: A good thriller, with an interesting story line.
Disadvantages: Perhaps not enough tension for some.

...This is a movie that I bought for £3 from Asda. It took me a long time to get around to viewing it, but when I did, I was pleasantly surprised. Flight Plan is a thriller directed by Robert Schwentke and starring Jodie Foster, Peter Sarsgaard, Erika Christensen, and Sean Bean. It was released by Touchstone Pictures in 2005, and is based on the classic film The Lady Vanishes, which was released 67 years earlier. I am a bit of a wimp these days when it comes to watching films. Anything over a 12 rating and I have to sit near the door. If there is any hint of violence I am usually known to go and make a cup of tea! Don?t get me wrong, I like a good action movie, I just find it hard to cope with the tension and violence. Long Live The Flight of The Conchords

Advantages: One of the funniest comedies I have seen in a long time!
Disadvantages: No extras included on DVD

The intellectual and cool trendy people from broadsheet colour supplements were hailing it, and apparently the likes of Fearne Cotton and Konnie Huq were raving about it. As much as Fearne Cotton and Konnie Huq are highly regarded as the pillars of street cred, this alone was not enough to convince me to watch this DVD. I first came across the Conchords in action purely by accident, when I was flicking the channels. BBC Four were showing a Concords Special called One Night Stand.
