...fifa 06 is an enjoyable game, which is diffucult to put down once you have started playing with it. Many think that the pro evo series is far better than the fifa one, but i would tend to disagree. Having played both pro evo 5 and fifa 06, fifa is far the better game. Pro evo 5 is almost the same as Pro evo 4 but with a few updated teams like arsenal. Whereas fifa 06 has improved far much compared to fifa 05 which was rather poor. fifa 06 has decent commentary and anaylisis from andy gray which makes the game more life-like. There are many good songs on fifa 06 including 1 from hard-fi, oasis and jarmeriqi. The graphics are decent and there are many well known stadiums in the game. Manager mode is a 15 year in depth game which is much like championship manager but you can play the game yourself. The fifa challenges are enjoyable aswell... Read review

...I was after a desktop replacement that offered a really high res screen (1600x1200), big hard drive and a fast CPU. After much looking around, it seemed like the Dell 5150 fitted the bill. The price was too high though so I kept an eye on Dell's refrurbished/cancelled orders site, Dell Outlet until one turned up at about 35% off the list price. Deal done. I got a free wireless keyboard/mouse, free USB memory stick and reduced delivery in to the bargain. The machine is a couple of years old now so some of the spec isn't exactly leading edge but at the time it was state of the art: 3.06Ghz HT CPU. The HT = Hyperthreading which means the CPU can do more than one thing at a time and appears to Windows as 2 seperate CPUs. The modern version, done properly as 2 real CPUs in a chip is the Core Duo range from Intel or the X2's from AMD... Read review

...of cd's So i used Pink floyd The division bell for this test. The thing i like about pink floyd apart from being absolutely brilliant is there albums are engineered so well , they sound amazing when played on a decent setup. I put in the cd in sat back and listened, i was pleasantly surprised at how good it sounded, i was expecting to hear a massive difference but the only thing that struck me at first was that bass was less controlled without the Dac-x. Timing was good and the imaging was precise, there was a good sense of detail in the sound , vocals were crisp. The soundstage wasn't as precise as with Dac-x but wasn't to much of a problem. This player is well suited to a warm sounding system as the midrange can be a bit overbearing on some recordings but nothing to complain about by any means. As a standalone player i would... ...:58 There is only one real place to listen to this song, and it is in a PT Cruiser with the windows down, playing it loud. However, I don't have a PT Cruiser so anywhere else will do. It is a real classic song that really shows how good ZZ Top were, and still are. 9/10 15. Boston - More Than A Feeling - 3:21 Tom Scholz plays a great guitar song in this very relaxing, de-stress song. I like to sit back and put this song on just to relax and 'chill-out' 7/10 16. Cream - Crossroads - 4:06 Eric Clapton making his second appearance on the album; although Crossroads is not my favourite Cream song (that honour goes to White Room), this is a catchy tune, it is upbeat, has plenty of guitar and decent lyrics aswell. 8/10 17. - Status Quo - Down Down - 3:42 A great intro, once again, leads up to another intro then eventually the main bit of the song...
