...With the release in May 1980 of the seventh studio album from Roxy there was a difference with this collection, the band had the American market in mind in my opinion, and this I think because for the only time in their back catalogue they recorded cover songs. The songs they recorded where by 2 American artists both from different genres of music, one from soul and the other from rock. The band itself was reduced to 3 core original members, Bryan Ferry, Andy Mackay and Phil Manzanera. The first cover version being the soul classic “In the Midnight hour made famous by the soul legend Wilson Pickett. ...On my trip to Florida we had a day to spend at the MGM Studios which is part of Walt Disney World. However it is worth noting that as from the 1st of January this year (2008), the studios changed their name to Hollywood studios. Anyway I thought I would share my views on this park as it really is excellent and a great place for all the family to go. Entrance fees: Just a quick note on this but most UK customers will pre purchase their tickets to all the parks before going to Florida and this really is the best way to do it. On an average cost of £200 per adult, a 3 week ultimate ticket as they are called, will allow you access to all the Disney themed parks which include the Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, Epcot, Disney's Blizzard Beach and Disney's Typhoon Lagoon as well as giving free entry to some of the clubs... ...Getting to the Studios is fairly easy. Motorists can reach Disney-MGM Studios via World Drive, often called "the main entrance" which is off of US192. It can also be reached via Epcot Drive off of I-4. The best method of transport is the Free disney resort bus's which can be picked up from your Any Disney world hotel, Downtown disney or the transport station. -----------THE PARK---------- Disney MGM Studios is my families 2nd Favourite Disneyworld Park. This park is not as large as the others but if you love movies its not to be missed. The park is about bringing the movies, TV, music, to life. Disney MGM studios is not just a themepark but is also a working studios. Approx two thirds is a closed off to the public but don't let this put you off there is still plenty of space for us. Advantages: A great 2nd Disney park
Disadvantages: Could be bigger

...On our trip (just 2 adults, no kids) to Disneyland Paris last September we eventually opted to spend a day in Disney Studios. We had only planned to go to one of the parks (Disneyland) but as we had enjoyed it so much, our plan to go into Paris for the day was swiftly changed to a visit to this theme park. We didn't have our Disney park tickets included with our hotel so a one day park pass cost Є43 each (it is Є35 per child). Though it wasn't a park hopper pass, it allowed us to go back into the Disneyland Park after 5pm (as Disney Studios closes two hours before the other park). This was a great added benefit we weren't expecting. As our visit was in early September the parks were quieter than they are in peak periods. What is it? ~~~~~~~~ Basically it is a catalogue like all others. You order, you receive goods. You receive statement, you pay. What do they sell? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Initially Studio just sold cards and gifts but these days they have really widened the range. In the HOME section we have curtains, textiles, lighting, mirrors, bedding, beds, bedroom furniture, sofas,armchairs, tables, storage, bookcases and a few other furniture items. In the current catalogue (Spring) this covers 99 pages. ...MGM Studios MGM Studios where the Disney movies are made but is the park any good. In one word yes but with a could do a little better. Just like all the other parks in Disney there is something here as a focal point. In the Animal Kingdom it is the Tree of Life, EPCOT the Giant Golf Ball, Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom and here is the Giant Mickey Mouse ears. Unlike the other Disney’s Parks there are no zones here as such but some places are themed a bit like a New York Section and others like that. I suggest that you go straight to the two biggest rides in the park the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror and the Areosmith Rock ‘n’ Roll a Coaster. These rides are right beside each other so after you do one you can ride the other one. These two rides are, in my opinion, the most intense rides in the whole... Read review

...First of all only buy passes if u intend to go to Seaworld otherwise it is just not worth it. Staying in a hotel there are plenty of money off flyers to be had. With the subway linking Universal Studios with Downtown Los Angeles this should help those who want to avoid being ripped off by the tours. Universal Studios opens at 9am. The maps are quite simple to understand. As soon as you head towards the rides you will be asked for your picture to be taken and of course will have to pay the obligatory dollars for it later.We found that the Jurassic Park ride did not open until 10 am so we headed for Back to the Future first. Do not look right when you are in the Back To The Future vehicle as you will see the other vehicles as this will ruin the whole effect.By the time we completed that and walked down it was 10am...
