The makers of Bakers complete had the idea for the Bakers Complete Spokes-Dog breed in 1994, when they first had the idea of advertising this way. The Idea being that they were not trying to promote a dog food for pampered dogs. That is why the Baker's dog is actually a shaggy longhaired crossbreed. ...Along with many of my generation, Tom Baker was "my" Doctor Who. By this, I mean that he was the first Doctor I knew about and will always be the person I first think of as playing the role, despite Christopher Ecclestone's best efforts recently. Whilst those slightly older than I may recall William Hartnell and Jon Pertwee, they were before my time and I didn't enjoy anyone's roles as the Doctor as much after Tom Baker as I did his. I may not be alone in this remembrance of Tom Baker's Doctor Who, either. After all, he played the Doctor for a lot longer than anyone else did, thereby giving him access to a wider audience than those before or since. ...Should I have been offended at Christmas when I recieved over 5 different bottles of aftershave from different people? Well that's what comes of having three sisters, a girlfriend and a Mum! Now no longer living at home means that I can get away with only wearing the ones given to me by my family when I go around, but the one my girlfriend gave me-let's just say I had little choice in whether I wear it or not! So it's a good job that I liked it really. I like clean, fresh smelling scents that are not too overpowering and Ted Baker SkinWear certainly fits into that category.I would describe the smell as being quite fruity and in particular, lemony, but with warm undertones. ...I first tried my dog on Bakers Complete around four years ago and it has made my dog extremely happy and give him the ability to have a slightly normal life. Sandy was a resuce dog who was a cruelty case at the local dogs home and i rescued him when he was 6 months old. Not realising he was ill at the time, he was diagnosed with a chronic pancreatic insufficiency by the vet which means he is unable to digest his food properly. This condition is something common in German Shepherds and i was told that sometimes there is a possibility that it can rectify itself or they may have to live with it for the remainder of their life. He was put on a diet of dried food and always has to have enzymes on his food which helps him digest it a little more and it does work. Bakers complete is made by Purina and is available from Supermarkets and pet shops and is sold in various sizes from 1.5kg boxes and 3kg, 5kg, 6kg & 15kg bags There was also a good selection of different flavours to choose from which were Beef and Country Vegetables Chicken and country vegetables Lamb Rice and select vegetables Smokey bacon and Liver with select vegetables Rabbit and Duck medoly with select vegetables They also make foods suitable for dogs with sensitive stomachs, senior in age and for those that need to lose some weight. ...Seeing as myself and my girlfriend have a whole cupboard full of dog treats, I thought I would do a review on one of the dog's favourite snacks. Packaging These treats come on a sealed plastic bag. One thing I like about these treats is that the packet is re-sealable which means that the treats stay fresh. The packet itself is quite big, probably about a foot tall, by half a foot wide. The Bakers logo is written across the front of the packet in white writing. Crunchers is also written across the front with a picture of the Bakers Crunchers on the front underneath the writing. One the back of the packet is information about the product, as well as information about other products that Bakers sell.
