Postage & Packaging: £0.00 Availability: available
Advantages: Original, addictive, progressive Disadvantages: None, though its appeal may be limited
...Firstly, this album's clasification 'techno' is wrong, allthough wholely understandable due to the group's name. Techno animal, stands for technological animal. It is an expiremental hip hop project, created and produced by Kevin Martin (God, The Bug) & Justin 'man of a thousand sounds' Broadrick (Godflesh, Final, Head of david, Jesu, Napalm Death, Ice, etc). Broadrick and Martin originally came from a punk rock background and have worked in many bands and different forms of music, techno animal began as a sideproject in the mid 90's as an outlet for both artist's increasing interest in hip hop music.
For those who are about to turn away after reading the words hip hop, stop right there. This is not a conventional hip hop album per'se and may well appeal to people who are coming from either an electro or rock music background...
Advantages: Great for baby to walking, wider, studier, taller but still with great manoeuvrability. Disadvantages: Hood is a bit lightweight and can get in the way when seat is fully reclined
...downsides, but so far with this buggy I have found four:
1. The hood that stretches from the back of the buggy up and over is of thin material, so when you recline the buggy if you put things in the pockets on the back, the hood ends up touching your little ones head, this would not be an issue for a small baby, but for a larger one (my 10 month old is wearing 12 - 18 month old clothes) it is a bit irritating, although it doesn't seem to bother her.
2. They have made the buggy lighter and as part of this they have made the wheels of plastic and it's not the best over uneven terrain such as loose shingle.
3. The buggy is high, I have the handles on the lowest setting and find this comfortable (I am 5ft 9) and don't need to use the raised handles.
4. As with the techno xt space is limited under the buggy and pretty much inaccessible...
Advantages: Light, manouverable Disadvantages: small basket
...I have had my New Maclaren Techno for 4 weeks(Isabelle 23/12/05) Isabelle is my 4th child and I have been through a variety of buggies and pushchairs - so I carefully researched - including this site - to make sure this time I got the right one.
My criteria were, It must be...
Easy to push - The maclaren is amazingly easy to push , its very light and very controllable
Be comforatble for both me at 5'5 and My husband at 6' to push- I took Hubby to Mothercare to try it out before we bought it , and He wizzed round the store with it - It has handles that you can change the height of to accomodate different people - very handy!
Practical - obviously Isabelle is only little yet, so we haven't had to clean it yet - but it looks easy to clean and is practical - the seat is removable and washable.
Have a good raincover - All...
Advantages: Light; Compact; Easy to fold; Suitable from birth; Good quality Disadvantages: Stability issues; Lack of storage; Not for uneven surfaces
...is made from high quality see through plastic and has been constructed specifically to fit the buggies shape. There is a lip that hooks over the sun canopy and then a series of holes that hook onto little nodules on the buggy frame. When I bought my Maclaren Techno, this came free with the buggy which was excellent.
Basket - I hate this little basket! It is very very small and at best can probably fit in the equivalent of 2 six-packs of coke. When the seat is fully reclined there is no access to the basket at all, rendering it pointless. I have to hang my changing bag off the handles which then gets in the way when I'm pushing the buggy.
Storing the rain cover in the basket can also be a problem because if your passenger goes to sleep and it starts to rain, you have to put the seat upright to get the rain cover out. Very annoying...

Review of McLaren Techno Buggy
Advantages: Drastic reduction in the amount of washing powder needed Disadvantages: Need to add some powder for heavily stained garments
...Are you fed up with your laundry bills? I know I have been for a long time. Whenever I go shopping, and I need washing powder, the price seems to have crept up yet again. Apparently the reason for the expense is because the powders and liquids contain enzymes that are very expensive to make. So one day, when I was at a friend’s house I saw an item in her GreenPeace Catalogue for laundry discs which can be used without powder or with a small amount of powder or washing detergent. Green Peace claim their system works for 500 washes. So I decided to investigate further and looked on the Internet for more information. Lo and behold I found “Techno Wash”. For £15 plus £1.95 postage and packing, the stockist will send you 3 discs which should last for 1 year. So I rang up the stockist to find out more information. I then...

Review of Techno Wash
...I bought the Maclaren Techno XT buggy as a replacement for a cheaper model I had to return to store. I chose this particular model based on what I had heard of the brand name and also because it was light weight and appeared to be durable.
The pushchair will last a family for many years as it is quite roomy and will grow with a child..
As it has a 4 position adjustable seat it can be used for a child from birth. My son likes to sit up and although he is only 5 months old, it is possible for him to sit semi upright in this buggy and take in the world as he pleases.
It has suspension on both the front and the rear wheels that make it very easy to push as well as swivel/ lockable wheels. I don't use the lockable facility as this makes the pushchair difficult to turn. The only use I have found for the lockable wheels is...
...For a good number of years now I have been addicted to American show 'Friends'. It is such a hilarious comedy about six friends who live in each other's pockets, each episode based around their lives in their apartments. The show ended a few years back after its successful ten year stint, and with this came the release of various special DVDs. One of these is 'Best of Friends: The Boys'.
WHAT IS IT?
The six friends consist of Monica, Rachel, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey and Ross. The Best of the Boys gives us time to connect with the three male characters, with episodes revolving around them. Now when I watch Friends I do not really see episodes as being about just one character, as there tends to be a lot of things going on, so I was curious to find out what was quite to be here.
CHARACTERS
So we have Ross Gellar (David Schwimmer), Chandler...
Advantages: A decent attempt at a storyline, some good actors and some great fight sequences Disadvantages: Dated in many ways and limited in others
...commitments to his son, after the death of his wife. However, Alex probably needs the fight more than any of the others. Joining the team is another controversial choice, an orthodox female instructor who immediately clashes with the resident coach. Dramas will rock the team who face an awesome threat in the more disciplined Koreans...
The first "Best of the Best" never got a chance at the British box office. However, as a video release it did quite well. Sadly this reputation was short-lived in Britain by its highly criticised sequel, which did make it to the big screen. After that their were the forgettable third and fourth straight-to-video releases, which only featured one character from the previous two instalments, Phillip Rhee, who looked destined for big things.
The 90's were a very cynical time and at the time of Best of Best's release...
Advantages: I hab there the best parties of my live. Disadvantages: Nothing wrong about that.
...Ten years ago, if you were asking someone about the top 3 of the techno clubs in Germany, the answer would mostly have been: the "Omen" in Frankfurt, the "Base in Dresden and the "Tresor" in Berlin. Nowadays the "Ostgut" would anyway be in this top 3 (at least through the fact that the Base died the hero-death of a underground club).
Beside the "Tresor" it is THE club in Berlin if you are looking for a good night to dance through.
The Ostgut was a old store for the nearby railway-station (Ostbahnhof). It has two levels. The ground level with a huge dancefloor and the upstairs level with chilling areas and the Panorama Bar as second dancefloor. The name Panorama Bar is well choosen, you have a great view over the industrial zone of Berlin *smile* (if the sun is shining) and can dance in the same time. On the ground level you have...

Review of Ostgut
Advantages: Easily readable, light, non-intellectual, aimed at the more mature woman Disadvantages: A tad old fashioned, but perhaps I am too?
...Yes, I?ll admit it! I?ve been reading rather a lot of magazines lately. Mainly by virtue of the fact that I went to Scotland for a week in August and travelled by train. It?s a five hour journey and whilst I can quite easily get my head stuck into a good book for such a duration, I do find that the density of the text combined with the motion of the train, makes me feel sick after a while. So, magazines, with their colours and layouts make a good alternative. That?s my excuse anyway.
One of the magazines that I picked up was ?best?. Whilst doing a little research for this review, I was surprised to discover that this publication has been around since 1987. Apparently, it is aimed at female readers between the ages of 25-55, but has a median reader age of 40. Heh, that?s me! Certainly, as I flicked through it I was pleasantly...
