A BIG BLUE WHAT

Advantages: Good catchy tunes that children will love to sing a long with

Big Blue Best In Blackpool

Advantages: Everything you could want in Blackpool

...I know Blackpool isn't ideal for a special occasion but if you are one of those people like me that likes Blackpool and wants to splash out on some accommodation a little more luxurious, then the Big Blue HOtel is definitely a dead cert. Wanting to treat my fiance after a 6 month tour of Iraq, i knew Blackpool would be the ideal place fr us to unwind and have a little fun. The staff at the hotel were extremely helpful before we arrived as I had planned a little surrise in the room for when we got there and thanks to them everything went well, our champagne was on fresh ice when we arrived, the fruit bowl was excellent and we were presented with complimentary robes. Don't be blue... watch Reel Big Fish Live!

Advantages: You can watch it again and again and notice something different each time
Disadvantages: It can never be the same as being at the venue

...Reel Big Fish Live at the House of Blues is a music DVD recorded in 2003, and is one of a series of "The Show Must Go Off" DVDs produced by Kung Fu Records. Although the concert begins with a few hiccups, it soon becomes clear why the band have such a devout following of "skankers". You really get a feel for the energy and buzz of the audience they are playing to, and you feel as though the band actually enjoy each other's company as well as the recognition they get for their music. In my opinion, the DVD is 105 minutes too short, and although watching a DVD of a gig would never be the same as attending it for real, I know that each time I watch it I will notice something new, and take away some of the infectious happiness that they omit every minute that they grace the stage. Advantages: Great scented bath water, with bits if seaweed!!!

I was in the Covent Garden Lush last week and thought I'd pick up a different bath time experience. 200 gram Ballistic for £2.25 Again quite expensive as you could buy a bottle of bubble bath which would last ten times as long at that price... but it is Lush!
