...abroad, I am a bit of a sucker for anything that involves English village life and as this film is set in an English village, it was the obvious choice for my introduction to the world of Lucio Fulci. And, of course, a fellow reviewer had already recommended it - thanks, Spencer. Prior to the film starting, there were a number of trailers for other films of a similar genre and presumably distributed by the same company that distributes this one (Shameless). I have to admit, I started getting worried. I enjoy watching horror films, but some of the clips I was watching were a bit out of my comfort zone, involving what I will term as sexual horror, for want of a better word (for example, stabbing in the genital area). ...mixed breed Moggies. Meet the family: Tabitha - a tortishell who likes to keep her self to herself. Not overly keen on the other cats and very independent. Has a fuss on her terms only. Chester - a 5 year old ginger and white tom affectionately known as Chunks (and yes he does answer to this). He's the daddy of the family and looks out for the others. He can often be found giving each of them a wash. Exceptionally lazy but very affectionate. Does this great impression of Yoda when you tickle his ears, which he loves - it makes him dribble. Harvey - black and white, quite small, nickname - Sprout. The most vocal of the bunch. Lets you know that he is here by screaming as if he is being killed! As my hubby spent so much time with him when he was little due to a 5-week bout of illness, Harvey is really people orientated... Read review

And then, on my 11th birthday, just when I'd almost given up hope entirely, my mum presented me with the best gift ever - a beautiful black kitten. I got my first cat, Willow, from a friend of the family, when she was a kitten of 10 weeks old. Advantages: Highly Amusing for Cat Lovers Everywhere

...and really feel the quality of the collar and give it a test tug. Why I like collars I like collars as they are a way of providing immediate identification for your cat. I also like collars that have reflective parts as I think these are a good safety feature especially if you live near a road or cycle path. I've also noticed that many people think cats without collars are strays especially if the cat is black or black and white. A collar is a good sign to people that your cat even if it 'common' looking is a beloved pet! My cat lost his collar recently and very kindly the person who found it returned it to me! ...is probably not right for you. CHOOSING A NAME... Always choose a name that suits your cat, and one you think is appropriate. Also, try to be original, I hate people who get a black and white cat and call it felix, be creative! If a cat is ginger, why call it ginger like every other ginger cat out there?! All i'm saying is be creative and make the name fitting. FINDING THEIR WAY AROUND... When you get a cat, or move house with a cat you should always keep them indoors for a minimum of two weeks to let them get used to the smell, so they can return home with ease. This isn't to say you should restrict them completely, if you like you can take them outside in a garden and keep them close by, but make sure they do not escape!!! This first couple of weeks is also very important as much of the bonding between cat and owner happens in these weeks... Read review

...I got my first kitten in May 1997. Lovely fluffy black bundle of joy, with white socks, white bib, white cheeks and large voluptuous white whiskers. At the time I lived in a three storey maisonette without a garden. Normally I would not have got a cat without a garden but the plan was to move within six months or so, to a house with a garden. However, as such plans go, it turned into nearly two years by the time we eventually moved. So we now had a two and a half year old cat who rarely went out side other than if it was sunny and the front door was open and hubby was working on the car just outside. And it was a big scary world. And to top it off her inconsiderate owners moved somewhere strange and unfamiliar and to add insult to injury made her travel a whole half a mile in those big scary noisy things with wheels! Advantages: They Purr, and let you stroke then now and then.
Disadvantages: scratch,eat,poo,sick furballs,get hair on the little black dress.

.... They like somewhere nice a comfy to sleep this may be your pillow or your new black suit. They do like a choice of food so you may have to open more than one can a day. They like to scratch things so make sure you have savings to replace your settee every now and then. (buy them a scratch pole and they will scratch this also) They like to show you their butts allot. They like to eat grass then spew it over your carpet usualy at the bottom of the stairs ready for your bare feet inthe morning. We live in the Lowestoft area of the UK. I decided that the food he was giving me was not up to scratch, well I mean I have some standards and these were clearly not being met. Advantages: Cats have personalities all their own, clean animals, easily trained

...and affectionate. Full of silly antics, Oogie Boo loves to draw attention to himself. If spoken to, he will invariably answer you back in his own cat language. it is almost comical to imagine what he must be saying back to you. I'm not sure I really want to know sometimes! Lucy has definitely been taught nearly everything she knows by Oogie Boo. Where he is a beautiful orange and white color with interesting markings, Lucy is black and white and looks as though someone simply splashed paint on her. She's interesting looking with flecks of white throughout her black coat, but the white spot just beside her nose makes her look a bit "different." Lucy, nonetheless, has a great personality and seems to be very streetwise. She and Oogie Boo pal around together and love to spend time lying in front of windows, gazing at birds and hissing at them... Read review
