It is also available in a smaller size (50ml) for around £5.00, and this would be useful if you wanted to test different flavours or for travel. ...The Body Shop has launched a new range called 'Africa'. Each product comes in a huge tub, beautifully presented and makes a great present. I, however, would rather just treat myself! My favourite of the range, is their pots of Cocoa Butter Body Lotion. It smells absolutely yummy and is such a treat - I can't wait to get out of the bath so that I can apply the product! The lotion is thick and very intensive. It sinks into the skin evenly and is very effective in clearing up dry patches of skin. Cocoa butter is renouned for being extremely moisturising and it is this butter that makes your skin feel so silky and smooth. The Body Shop buy their cocoa beans from a trade organisation in Africa - hence, the product name. By buying the product, you are also helping disadvantaged people to gain employment. ...I've been using the Bodyshop body butters for over a month now and I really don't think my first review did them sufficient justice. At the beginning of March I was approached by a friend who had just started working for the bodyshop, organising parties. This basicaly involved her investing around £75 in a selection of bodyshop products (at a very discounted rate by the look of what she got) and attending a couple of training sessions with a more senior sales person. It helped that she was completley loopy about the products she was trying to sell us as and although it was her very first party she managed to make a profit - and me being the host came away with some freebies. I tested several of them and ended up on the tour smelling like the Body Shop, but my hands felt good. It contains a number of other ingredients, indicating that it may not be completely `natural` but at least it is not tested on animals. At first glance the Almond Body Butter is cream in colour and is set and thick giving the appearance of butter, not margarine, butter. ...Body shop Satsuma Body Butter. £12.00 for 200mls. This review started life as a wee orange tub of stuff that I tried and thought it was so good I would review it. It actually turned out to be, for me, hours of poring over the internet finding out fascinating things about the main ingredient which is Shea butter and when I started researching the other ingredients I found lots of interesting facts about the moisturising qualities that most of the ingredients in this product have, some of them even say they help stretch marks, guess I'll be buying a big tub! ...This cocoa butter worked really well on my dry skin. It soothed it immediately, and didn't leave grease everywhere.
