Body shop vitamin E cream
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Rich Night Cream Body Lotion by
lil_lisa86
Advantages: effective moisturiser
Disadvantages: pricey
...The first time i came across this product was last summer when i was onholiday in Ibiza. i was having real trouble with my skin as it was extremely dry due to the sun and the water. Aftersun was doing nothing at all to my skin, so i had to find something better quickly as i didn't feel comfortable sunbathing with very dry skin showing. i came across a body shop and thought it was the best place to try, even though it might be a bit expensive. I saw the vitamin E cream and knew it was supposed to be good for the skin so i bought it even though as i guessed it was expensive.
After trying the cream for a few days there was a dramatic improvement. My skin was beginning to feel smooth again, and even the little white patches on my stomach were covering up to match the rest of my tan.
After returning from my holiday, i continued to used...

Body Shop Vitamin E, not good for all skin types.
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Cream by
annatrixie
Advantages: Vitamin E is undoubtedly good for your skin.
Disadvantages: Leaves a shiny face, seems to clog pores and not good for sensitive skin.
...I have sensitive skin and generally stick to my regular moisturising skin cream but on going into the Body Shop and seeing this Vitamin E cream, decided to have a change.
Anyone that has read magazines and articles about skin will know the recomendation is drink plenty of water, plenty of sleep and Vitamin E. Seeing this cream in the Body Shop I asked the shop assistant if it was ok for sensitive skin and she assured me it is "great for all skin types". The price was reasonable so I gave it a go.
It smells pretty good which is always a bonus and you get quite a lot for your money so for value I would say it's pretty good. It costs about £3 depending on which city you buy it in, I live in a small city in the South West and its £3 here.
After using it once my skin did feel ok but after one week my skin felt puffy...

Rich Night cream with Vitamin E-The Body Shop
Review of The Body Shop Rich Night Cream with Vitamin E by
Polestar
Advantages: Transforms extremely dry skin into healthy looking and feeling face skin. Helps maintain smooth and supple skin. Excellent applied as a massage for face before sleep.
Disadvantages: None
...Having extremely dry skin, I decided to try out Body Shop’s, “ Rich Night cream with Vitamin E”, which is one of the company’s star products.
I bought it as a recommendation and have been using it since for 2 years.
Rich Night cream is a moisture rich face cream for people with dry skin who need that little extra care. It is formulated with Vitamin E, which helps to combat free radicals, which can damage skin.
I FOUND IT EXTREMELY EFFECTIVE when used daily after cleansing before sleep, to help keep skin smooth and supple in the long run.
The product is a pale cream colour and has a sweet, creamy and clean fragrance, which isn’t too strong.
The cream smoothes out well so it is economical in use and is absorbed well without leaving the skin dry, which some moisture creams and soaps do. I find...

Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist by
kernow21
Advantages: Refreshing and cheaper than a primer.
Disadvantages: None really.
...I bought this product because I was initially looking for a primer to go under my make up to keep my my make up in place all day. When I was at university I was on a Performing Arts course with a lot of practical classes and there was also a lot of time spent in hot and stuffy lecture theatres and classrooms. I found that by the afternoon all my make up had come off except my mascara and I thought it looked scruffy. So I went out to find a primer to keep my make up in place. The only ones I could really find were quite expensive so I went and asked in The Body Shop to ask if they did a primer and the lady said she didn't think so. Later that evening I was double checking on The Body Shop website when I came across this product and I noticed it said 'excellent for fixing make up'. So the next day I went out and bought some. I also noticed...

Body Shop Vitamin E Sink-In Moisture Mask
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Sink In Moisture Mask by
BananaNoodle
Advantages: Moisturises. Smells nice.
Disadvantages: Tingles. Sticky.
...the tingling. But no, my skin looked fine.
My skin felt comfortable and definatley smoother and more moisturised, especially on my cheeks, which strangely is where it tingled the most - perhaps this is connected.
I don't think I'll be using this again once my sample pot has run out though as I have used other similar products which have a much better moisturising effect. It does the job, but knowing Body Shop prices I don't think it's really worth it....

Vitamin E the Cream For Me
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Cream by
KathrynE
Advantages: see op
Disadvantages: see op
...Vitamin E creams are great for keeping your skin soft and getting rid of any dry patches. I started using these on the recommendation of Body Shop staff when I asked for advice last year. In the run up to my wedding both my skin and hair dried out badly. Obviously I wanted to restore my complexion before the big day.
~~~~ Why Vitamin E? ~~~~
I actually didn't start to wonder why until I came to update this opinion. Then I started to search the Internet and was surprised at how difficult the information was to find. Still I got there in the end!
In general studies have shown Vitamin E can reduce the risk of non-fatal heart attacks. There has also been much research into the benefits of Vitamin E in preventing and treating cancer. But this opinion is about a skin product so I won't go into the health benefits too deeply...
Vitamin E-xcellent!
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Cream by
funphobic2
Advantages: Great moisturiser, good for everyone, reasonable value
Disadvantages: None!
...Worried about wrinkles? Summer skin left you feeling a bit flaky? No fear, Body Shop’s Vitamin E moisture cream is here!
But why is it so good? Well, Vitamin E is an excellent antioxidant, which protects your skin from harmful free radicals (pollution, wind etc), in the environment. It’s also a natural anti-aging vitamin (great if your budget doesn’t stretch to a face-lift!) which when the skin is exposed to the sun, helps reduce the UVB damage and thus reduces wrinkles. Most importantly it contains wheat germ oil, a fantastic moisturising ingredient that is so rich, it is used to treat scars. The best thing about it is everyone can use it, even babies! (It’s particularly good for sensitive skin because it’s light) Oh and it’s not tested on animals. Have I sold you already? Keep reading, it gets better!
The moisture cream is very...
Vitamin E-ssential
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E 2 in 1 Cleanser & Toner by
Groovygal
Advantages: Wipes away all of the dirt, smells nice
Disadvantages: none
...I have been lucky, I have never suffered from acne, but what is the betting now that I have just said that I will now have a mass outbreak of spots! However, I do suffer from extremely dry skin, so I have to make sure that I cleanse, tone and moisturise every morning to get my skin looking nice and soft.
A couple of years ago, I came across a miracle called “Vitamin E”, from The Body Shop. Since I discovered them I always use their Vitamin E products, including their moisturiser, hand and nail cream, eye cream, as well as what I will tell you about today, their 2 in 1 cleanser and toner.
I use the Vitamin E 2 in 1 cleanser and toner every morning, you are meant to use it at night as well but I can never be bothered. I noticed a great improvement in my skin the very first time I used it, it became more soft and I didn...
Eeeh i could do with some vitamin E
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Face Mist by
AliceCarroll
Advantages: useful,practical
Disadvantages: bit of an old woman smell
...Well christmas has come and gone, and I am left with an astounding collection of beauty products, leading me to believe that my family A.think i need to do something about my appearance or B.think I am extremely vain.Both are offensive, but possible.
Anyway, one of my main problems beauty-wise (or even just health-wise,)is my amazingly dry skin.
Granted, its sometimes a blessing meaning I'm generally spot free and do not have oily patches, but in winter its hard to control and rather uncomfortable when bits of my face feel like its crumbling off leaving only very dry bone (exaggerate, me?!never!!)
One of my christmas prezzies was the rather effective Vitamin E face mist by the body shop.
Being a pump-action mist its a lot handier than rubbing messy creams into the face and invariably being left with excess cream on the fingers...
