...I bought this product because I was initially looking for a primer to go under my make up to keep my my make up in place all day. When I was at university I was on a Performing Arts course with a lot of practical classes and there was also a lot of time spent in hot and stuffy lecture theatres and classrooms. I found that by the afternoon all my make up had come off except my mascara and I thought it looked scruffy. So I went out to find a primer to keep my make up in place. Body Shop vitamin c face polish-USE SPARINGLY!!

Advantages: Smells great, exfoliates well, tube will last ages
Disadvantages: Not great for sensitive skin

...I bought this exfoliator as I was going away to work in the Alps for a ski season where it would be mius degrees, harsh winds and my skin would take a battering! I needed a good face scrub to get rid of dead skin so my moisturiser was working at its best. Ive used body shop products for years and find their vitamin c face mask excellent, so decided to try this. Fisrt time i used it I loved the thick texture of lots of small particles and the fab zesty scent! It also left my skin quite soft and my moisturiser went in really well afterwards. I have sensitive skin and got no rash or reaction! However, the second time I used it I used more of the product and found that it felt like it was scratching my skin and my cheeks were quite pink afterwards and felt dryer than before I started. Great foundation by Body Shop All in One Face base

...I have been using this foundation/powder for a long time and find it fantastic so I thought I?d share my opinion with you. I?ve never been a huge foundation fan and I can?t bear the feeling of having something on my face and when this was recommended to me years ago I tried it and loved it. It combines a concealer and foundation in one so it covers slight blemishes as well as evening out tone, if I have a small red spot this powder will cover it pretty well. It comes in a round silver flip top compact with the Body Shop logo on, and when you flip open the top the sponge is sitting there on top of a plastic panel. When you remove the sponge and open the plastic panel it has a mirror on the other side and the foundation solid powder. You can apply the powder either dry or wet. Advantages: Benefits outside of the company. Natural. Animal Friendly. Quality products.
Disadvantages: Luxury item prices. No heat protecting treatment.

...The Body Shop is a well established company and I love all of their products. My favourites are the body butters, lip balms, soaps, face cleansing/moisturising, fragrances and makeup. (Their massage products are awesome as well!) Though the prices are just above my budget I always save up for their goods because they are quality, kept close to nature and are animal friendly (which is very important for me). I never regret it. I believe that as a consumer I should know what I am investing my money in. The one issue I am unsure of is that the company was bought by L'oreal. L'oreal test their products on animals but as far as I know, they are taking points from the Body Shop and are looking for alternative methods.
