THE BODY SHOP - WHITE MUSK BODY SPRAY AND MY NAN

Advantages: Long lasting scent, uses musk substitute
Disadvantages: Very identifiable fragrance

White Musk Body Spray has to be one of the most highy evocative sprays around, as instantly identifiable as the likes of Poison, Obsession and Estee Lauders Beautiful. Choose it only if you have an extrovert, bubbily personality. This spray is certainly not for the shrinking violet. It has a distinctly floral fragrance with a touch of ylang ylang, jasmine and lily - a hint of the oriental. Musk fragrances in the past have received a bad name due to the cruel methods of extraction from animals. The Body Shop thankfully uses a musk substitute and promotes itself as being against animal testing - a sore topic for many people. SO... My Favourite Body Spray!

Advantages: Bargain, smells lovely, nice bottle design

...? The smell of this bodyspray is really fresh. I have sprayed some onto my hand and am sniffing it now as I'm writing this. Smell too close and it gets right up your nose when you first spray it on. After a couple of minutes the spray has toned down a bit and the strongness has gone. Now it smells sweet and cute, sort of. I really like it. This fragrance is nice because it isn't too strong. Even though it isn't too strong, though, it does last quite a while and you can still smell it is there lightly. I've tried loads of different body sprays and perfumes and this has one of my favourite smells out of all of them. You can smell the alcohol in this, a little bit but not too much. Overall it smells fresh and quite unique. If you want to try this try a tester one next time you're out shopping. COMPARED TO OTHER PERFUMES/BODYSPRAYS I think...

...The Body Shop is a shop that sells all body products be that cosmetics, bath, body, skin care, men's products, fragrance and hair. They have a wide range and variety and they have a product that suits everyone. Over the years I have had a lot of gift sets purchased for me and I now know which items that I like and use regularly and those that I can avoid as they do not smell great or because they do not do anything for my skin. They have great sales assistants that are very helpful and they are always prepared to help you and if you need them too, to walk around the shop with you to help you find some great products. The Body Shop Rocks!

Advantages: Benefits outside of the company. Natural. Animal Friendly. Quality products.
Disadvantages: Luxury item prices. No heat protecting treatment.

...The Body Shop is a well established company and I love all of their products. My favourites are the body butters, lip balms, soaps, face cleansing/moisturising, fragrances and makeup. (Their massage products are awesome as well!) Though the prices are just above my budget I always save up for their goods because they are quality, kept close to nature and are animal friendly (which is very important for me). I never regret it. I believe that as a consumer I should know what I am investing my money in. The one issue I am unsure of is that the company was bought by L'oreal. L'oreal test their products on animals but as far as I know, they are taking points from the Body Shop and are looking for alternative methods. ...This is a review on a company that I have loved and respected since the age of around 10. When I was younger, I was looked after a lot by an auntie who was a big animal rights campaigner and due to me looking up to her so much, I not only learnt a lot about different products and companies and methods of animal testing but I also managed to acquire come beliefs which I still hold. When I was about 12 years old I wrote a really beautiful email to the body shop HQ telling them about my auntie and thanking them for backing the no animal testing belief, and for never testing any of their products on animals.
