...I bought this product because I was initially looking for a primer to go under my make up to keep my my make up in place all day. When I was at university I was on a Performing Arts course with a lot of practical classes and there was also a lot of time spent in hot and stuffy lecture theatres and classrooms. I found that by the afternoon all my make up had come off except my mascara and I thought it looked scruffy. So I went out to find a primer to keep my make up in place. Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Intensive Body Treatment

Advantages: Super fast-absorbing and moisturizing without being greasy
Disadvantages: The cream is perfume scented which might make it non unisex.

It is a godsend if you want super-soft, super-moisturized skin without the grease-effect or feeling like the product is ?sitting? on the skin and for this reason I love using it on my face as well as my body. ...As a fan of the original E.A eight hour cream (the pink gel) I tried this body cream with interest. It has a very similar slightly lemony scent but is not as strong as the pink all purpose gel. It goes on very easily and leaves the skin feeling very soft and moisturized and hydrated and leaves a slight scent on the skin. the tube is a handy size to take on holiday and would be very good to sooth skin after being in the sun. Another Great Product from The Body Shop

Advantages: Leaves skin lovely and soft

...is plenty to keep my skin hydrated. The cream contains three main ingredients all of which claim to hold soothing and hydrating properties, these ingredients are Aloe Vera, Sesame Oil and Oat Extract. The oat extract claims to also help reduce redness and prevent rashes - which I confirm does work. I am very prone to having blotchy skin, but since using a variety of The Body Shop products (including this one) I have not experienced these outbursts. Every morning I put a small dap of the moisturiser on my face and neck and the one thing I have noticed with this is that a little bit really does go a long way - so whilst the pot may seem very small for the price it does last a long time. The main problem I have had in the past with moisturisers is that I often feel it leaves my skin greasy, however with this it is the complete opposite...

...I bought this exfoliator as I was going away to work in the Alps for a ski season where it would be mius degrees, harsh winds and my skin would take a battering! I needed a good face scrub to get rid of dead skin so my moisturiser was working at its best. Ive used body shop products for years and find their vitamin c face mask excellent, so decided to try this. Fisrt time i used it I loved the thick texture of lots of small particles and the fab zesty scent! It also left my skin quite soft and my moisturiser went in really well afterwards. I have sensitive skin and got no rash or reaction! However, the second time I used it I used more of the product and found that it felt like it was scratching my skin and my cheeks were quite pink afterwards and felt dryer than before I started. ...I have been using this face cream for quite a well now. I started to use it when i was in a car accident and i have quite a large scar in between my eyes. It's shaped like a backward L. For a year or two i kept putting on loads of make up to cover the scar. But i noticed this face cream and started using it twice a day. The redness in my scar has started to fade. The scar is really not noticeable now. I find the cream very reasonable. It's not too oily and goes on really easy. It has totally given me the confidence to not wear make-up and the scar has totally faded. The cream didn't irritate my skin, it made it feel soft and full of life again. The scar in between my eyes was quite sensitive but it ain't now thanks to Bio-oil. The product is great value for money and you can get it from most stores....

I have had this hand and nail cream for months and months in my kitchen next to the sink , I use it when my hands are feeling dry and in need of some extra moisture . The cream feels quite light when you first put it on your hands and has a light but distinctive smell of sweet almonds. Although the cream disappears very quickly in to the skin on the back of my hands leaving them looking and feeling very smooth and soft, my palms have an unusual slightly sticky feel.
