They have a wide range and variety and they have a product that suits everyone. Over the years I have had a lot of gift sets purchased for me and I now know which items that I like and use regularly and those that I can avoid as they do not smell great or because they do not do anything for my skin. Advantages: Benefits outside of the company. Natural. Animal Friendly. Quality products.
Disadvantages: Luxury item prices. No heat protecting treatment.

...The Body Shop is a well established company and I love all of their products. My favourites are the body butters, lip balms, soaps, face cleansing/moisturising, fragrances and makeup. (Their massage products are awesome as well!) Though the prices are just above my budget I always save up for their goods because they are quality, kept close to nature and are animal friendly (which is very important for me). I never regret it. I believe that as a consumer I should know what I am investing my money in. The one issue I am unsure of is that the company was bought by L'oreal. L'oreal test their products on animals but as far as I know, they are taking points from the Body Shop and are looking for alternative methods. ...This is a review on a company that I have loved and respected since the age of around 10. When I was younger, I was looked after a lot by an auntie who was a big animal rights campaigner and due to me looking up to her so much, I not only learnt a lot about different products and companies and methods of animal testing but I also managed to acquire come beliefs which I still hold. When I was about 12 years old I wrote a really beautiful email to the body shop HQ telling them about my auntie and thanking them for backing the no animal testing belief, and for never testing any of their products on animals.
