The Best Sun Protection

Advantages: Clear, spray is easy to use, non-greasy

To cover one arm completely, including the shoulder, takes about 10 sprays, so you can imagine if you were using it all over your body all the time and reapplying during the day like you're supposed to, you would get through quite a lot of it. Saying that though, each spray doesn't seem to use up much of the lotion, so it doesn't go down as quickly as you might expect, and I find it lasts a lot longer than regular lotions. Overall I think this stuff's great and it's the only sun protection I use nowadays, except for my face (though I have used this one my face before and it was fine), I just wish they'd bring out a version for your face. It's so much quicker and easier to apply, and far less messy than regular lotions, I can't imagine going back to using anything else!...

...The Body Shop is a well established company and I love all of their products. My favourites are the body butters, lip balms, soaps, face cleansing/moisturising, fragrances and makeup. (Their massage products are awesome as well!) Though the prices are just above my budget I always save up for their goods because they are quality, kept close to nature and are animal friendly (which is very important for me). I never regret it. I believe that as a consumer I should know what I am investing my money in. The one issue I am unsure of is that the company was bought by L'oreal. L'oreal test their products on animals but as far as I know, they are taking points from the Body Shop and are looking for alternative methods. ...This is a review on a company that I have loved and respected since the age of around 10. When I was younger, I was looked after a lot by an auntie who was a big animal rights campaigner and due to me looking up to her so much, I not only learnt a lot about different products and companies and methods of animal testing but I also managed to acquire come beliefs which I still hold. When I was about 12 years old I wrote a really beautiful email to the body shop HQ telling them about my auntie and thanking them for backing the no animal testing belief, and for never testing any of their products on animals. I told them how nice it was that when customers go into their shop they do not have to look on the back of the item to see if it's tested on animals or not, it is a company policy and people can stick to their beliefs by shopping...

...I have very fair skin so I burn within minutes of being in the sun, even when it doesn't look sunny I still somehow manage to burn! I have tried all sorts of different products to protect myself from burning and also the aging affects of the sun but I'm always so frustrated by having to keep reapplying the creams frequently and to still burn! I bought Garnier Ambrew Solaire after seeing it advertised on a day time tv show where they were reviewing different skin care products. I bought factor 30 for myself and factor 50 for my baby as they were buy one get one free which was agood job as they're expensive!
