...Marvel at the stupidity of contestants! Wonder how anyone thought this would be a good idea for a quiz show! Imagine who is going to get fired for not testing the whole concept first! Yes, this is an extraordinarily bad game show. In many rounds, it is a matter of guessing. In my 'favourite' round, celebrities' names are listed on two side of the screen. Vanessa, the host, reads out a quotation and the contestant must match who said it (on the left) and about whom (on the right). A typical conversation might go something like this: "Did Celebrity A say it about Celebrity X?" "No." "Then did Celebrity B say it about Celebrity Y?" "No, but it *was* said about Celebrity Y." "Ummm ...Celebrity C said it about Celebrity Y?" "Yes! Next quote ..." You would have thought they would have put a better programme after Call My Bluff.... Read review

...Celebrity Death Match is absolutely hilarious. It takes the most annoying celebrities in our world today, from Bill Clinton to Michel Jackson, and lets them fight it out to the death. It is shown on MTV late at night and is not suitable to be shown any earlier... but I think that this is pure genius and hilarity. Basically all the models are made out of clay or some kind of modelling materials, and their animation is really good considering that they are made so simply and low tech. But I find this amusing and completely and utterly hilarious!... Read review

...I first got Hole's "Celebrity Skin" when it first came out, when I wasnt a very big Hole fan. I didnt really appreciate at first. Then I bought "Live Through This", and loved it. I decided I'd listen to "Celebrity Skin" and I was astonished how amazing the album really is. To transform from "Live Through This" to "Celebrity Skin" isnt really easy, and Courtney Love pulls its off perfectly. Highlights on the album are, "Northern Star", "Hit So Hard", "Malibu", and "Boys on the Radio". Its a great album, pick it up next time you get a chance, definatly worth your money!... Read review

...Sir David Frost is one of the most influential political interviewers who can strike fear into the great and good on his Sunday programme. Quite what he is doing hosting this dross I do not know. The format involves Loyd Grosman meandering around an unknown celebrity’s house commenting on the bits and pieces inside. This gives clues to a panel of 3 people in the studio who have to guess who the celebrity is. The identity of the celebrity is revealed to the audience and they are seen as the panel try to guess who they are. It is all very amiable. The panel make hints as to what field the celebrity may be famous in, TV sport, the stage etc and the audience reaction tells them whether they are close in their assumption. ...When the programme started it seemed interesting and was good for a few days, until it started to loose sound while being broadcasted live, which made the programme become boring and tiring, since this problem was not successfully sorted out till the end of the programme. Although the celebrities tried, the programme lacked adequate exictment, from the housemates, about the celebrities. This lack of exictment maybe attributed to the fact that the house mates are mini-celebrities in their own rite. The program would have been much more better if the sound quality had been better and the housemates had been given better opportunities to showcase their talents. Given the rate at which the programme was publicised and the way with which the first live episode was broadcasted, one would have expected a great show which would be the eye... Read review

...Being an autograph collector, I have managed to collate a vast number of celebrity addresses from various sources. This book was highly recommended to me by a fellow autograph collector, and I am so glad I bought it - I have managed to get some fantastic results. Who's who on Television is produced by the Radio Times, and lists over 2000 celebrity addresses. Along with each address, is a short list of which films and television programmes that the celebrity has starred in, sometimes with details about their hobbies and date of birth etc. This book does not list just British celebrities, but also some well known American and Australian TV personalities. ...• Lets Fight! • Late on in the '90s MTV unleashed their claymation series Celebrity Deathmatch onto our TV's among lots of blood, gore and mangled up clay. Mainly taking the mick out of wrestling and the WWF by having clay celebrities battling against each other, along with commentators and the bald headed referee supplying some comedy. Most of the celebrities that have been used have been in the media attention for example Monica Lewinski VS Hilary Clinton. There has also been a computer game made (across all formats I think) which is good fun, more aimed at multi playing fun because the single player game is a little limited. • The Matches • I was surprised to see that 77 episodes had been made of this great show. ...Sneak magazine is a cheap and informative magazine about music, tv , movies and celebs. This magazine is out every week. The first 11 pages are about celebrity gossip and what they have been up to this week. The next two pages are about celebs aut and about in dodgy positions with a prediction of what they might be doing and saying. Then there is four pages with more celebrity gossip. Then there is a feature on a relaity tv show like "i'm a celebrity ... get me out of here" or "big brother." Then there is a featured interview with a band, singer or actress. Then there is a page of adverts on concerts and gigs coming to a venue near you soon.
