...Well I am certainly in the Christmas spirit, this year i decided to do all my pressie and shopping on line, guess what its all arrived today and i felt like a kid opening pressies at Christmas....Well all the sweets tins have now arrived. I sat down with hubby bubbles trying to say these are not to be opened till at least December! at which he grabbed the tin of Celebrations and ran off upstairs! Men!... Once i had caught up with him i took them off him and this is where im at now. ...OK, this is going to get nasty. Well they do annoy me so don’t expect anything nice at all, it’s very blunt and to the point. I could have added more but 10’s what it says and until it’s changed to 20 that’s all I’ll do. ...Christmas is over, New Year is over, and snow is falling! This year the chocolates have really built up in our house. We had one big tin of Roses (which, even with the crèmes are still not as good as they used to be) which we thought would be satisfactory for over the festive period. We were until our Nan gave us a big tin of Celebrations. These were only opened a week ago as with the roses and other choccies we all received on Christmas day we had more than enough…….but you never really can have enough chocolate can you? Back to the opinion in question, all about celebrations. I have to admit although I eat nearly every variety of chocolate there is available; I am not too keen on celebrations. ...I haven’t had a particularly great Monday. My favourite fish died – a little black moor ornamental goldfish; my elderly landlady got admitted to hospital; lots of people called in sick at work and the local homeless guy was apparently kicked to within inches of death outside our offices last night. Sadly, he died later on in the afternoon. So in dire need of some light relief from the events of today, I was browsing in the Ciao Café and came across this Celebrity Dinner Party Challenge. I thought that whiling away an hour or so, whilst daydreaming about my dinner guests might provide the de-stress that I’m looking for. ...Overall, in terms of quality, price, value for money, room service, cleanliness and general service aboard I rate Celebrity as being the best cruise's going today. Celebrity has 5 ships in its fleet: Century Galaxy Mercury Horizon Zenith You might remeber a couple of years back, Celebrity was featured on BBC1 "The Cruise" and it made Jane McDonald famous. All 5 ships are instantly recognised by the big X on the funnel so all can be seen easily when boarding after a day out on the mainland. Apparently the X represents C in Greek which stands for Chandris, the owning company! Not that you can miss one of these ships though, the smallest ship, Horizon, is a massive 680ft in length. ...So Big Brother is back on the air again, this time in its somewhat-Celebrity guise. As I sat glued to Submarine Rescue on BBC1, somewhere on another frequency ten people who apparently fall into the category of "celebrity" were entering that infamous house to fulfil two objectives: firstly, to rebuild, enhance or kick-start their careers; secondly, to satiate this nation's bizarre voyeuristic needs. I steadfastly avoided the programmes, the live broadcasts and the digital channel offerings, only to find my morning paper littered with pictures and shock-horror revelations from the first night in the house and, as I looked at the people involved, I could not help but wonder what qualifications as a celebrity these people actually have.
