...Going for a holiday almost half-way around the earth need'nt cost the same. In Feburary of 2004 my wife and I flew Air Canada to British Columbia on the west coast of Canada for a packed ten-day holiday with a view towards seeing if we liked the area well enough to consider emigrating there. Believe it or not, it was our first trip to Canada. This sounds quite a statement for such a potentially momentous decision, but all the research I have done before hand suggested that BC had all the things we were looking for. Reasonable house prices, less pollution, less stress, beautiful setting and a people that suprisingly enough are a lot closer in attitude to us Brits than the inhabitants of the US are. ...thing. In America Arnold Swazenegger had become Governor of California. Our son who has special educational needs moved out and into‘sheltered accommodation’ type housing. He was very upset the first night but recovered after that, and is very happy now and looking forward to moving out on his own soon. My mother was taken into hospital where she remained for a few months following a fall at her home. My other half and I spent some time in Brussels and we had a really good time, though it wasn’t overly wheelchair friendly, we managed. The hotel was a complete let down though. July saw me being selfish with the ailments floating around: I was sharing my body with a bad back, a cold and tennis elbow all at once. Taken from the same source as the local Native (Indian) band, it means "narrowing of the waters" and refers to the figure-8 shaped Osoyoos Lake that nestles on the floor of the valley. Osoyoos is part of the warm, sunny Okanagan, (about 400 kilometers from Vancouver and the coast)and will not factor in the 2010 Olympics except as a place to go to get away from the hordes on Whistler. I am glad I did it but in honesty I would have preferred company. WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE? Olay Complete is an opaque white colour, and very runny and thin in texture, almost like an egg yolk (though not quite as slippery) WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE? This product smells like baby powder and flowers! I really like it. There is also a fragrance-free/sensitive skin version availiable. ...I used to suffer with spots quite badly, even into my twenties, and I used to try all sorts to clear up my skin. It wasn't major acne but the odd spot here and there, except I don't remember ever having a clear face (I sure I wasn't born with spots though but I really don't remember that far back). I had seen Clearasil advertised many times but just thought it would never work. A few months ago though I was desperate to do something so I actively sort out the skin care aisle while out shopping and spotted Clearasil Complete daily face wash 3 in 1 so I decided to give it a go. ...I've been using Clearasil Complete for about two years. I find it not only refreshes my skin leaving the pores feeling tight and clean, but it also helps to PREVENT spots. It's not a spot CURE, but it fights the formation of spots if used correctly. I've read other opinions on Clearasil Complete and found that not everyone agrees with my opinion. But I feel it's the one for me. Many people have different skin types and there are differnet products available on the market to suit each person. All I can say is give it a go. You could always request a sample from them first to check if this is the product for you. If you find clearasil complete to harsh for your skin, they also have a clearasil complete 'gentle power' which can be used by those with sensitive skin.
