Advantages: Well run activity area

...Having grown tired of some of the activity areas where children are encouraged to run round screaming, then frequently get lost for a period of time, it was time to find something new. About a year ago, little lady was invited to a party at the Ceramic Experience and we haven't looked back since. The activity area is located off a main road in a very small industrial estate; when you drive off the main road, there is ample parking space and so far, we have never had to struggle for a space. Through the door and you are faced with the logo of the Ceramic Experience, whcih is a great big daisy. Colourful pictures lead you up the stairs to the first floor. This first floor concept is going to be the one thing I mention which I don't like about the Ceramic Experience (from now on c.e.). The area is designed for children and it seems...

Fancy an Arty Day Out? Try the Ceramic Experience

Advantages: Laid Back atmosphere, children welcome, fun and lots to do at reasonable prices
Disadvantages: Can get busy and hectic and you may have to wait

...Having 2 children and being a stay at home mummy, I often look for new places to visit to keep the children occupied. A friend mentioned the Ceramic Experience, to me and I had to investigate and see for myself. You can find the Ceramic experience On the road down to the Ocean Terminal Shopping Centre and is directly opposite the Express by Holiday Inn. The entrance is through heavy double doors which is wide enough for a double buggy as well as wheelchairs. It is on floor and ground level making it was access and there is always a member of staff there to meet and welcome you with a smile. The Ceramic Experience has recently moved. It used to be in 2 rooms, now it is all one big room. There is a cafe area where you pay for all your goods and anything which you may have to eat or drink while you are there. There are 2 large...

Quatermass - A Bold Experiment by BBC4

Advantages: An excellent production that will appeal to any fan of classic TV and SF.
Disadvantages: Because it's a recording, it loses some of the excitement of watching it live.

...I watched this film on BBC4 when it was first broadcast, and I was impressed that it went so well, so when I saw the DVD on sale for £10 earlier this year, I snapped it up. If (like me) you're a fan of classic era TV (by which I mean the TV of the 50s, 60s and 70s) and especially if you're a fan of classic TV SF, then this DVD is a must purchase. Not because it's old - it was only made in 2005 - but because it was a deliberate attempt to pay homage to 1950s TV drama by employing the same methods that were available to TV production companies 50 years ago. Worst Psychic Experiences

Disadvantages: Devastating to anyone who is nervous.

...the council. We repainted the room with lovely calming colours, but it wasn't used as a bedroom again. The house was a huge eight bedroom victorian house that we had rented between us. We never found out the reason for the haunting, even though we tried. We left soon after and moved into a house of our own. This experience was one of many that I have witnessed over the years, but was definately one of the most frightening, and certainly not an exoperience that I would wish on anyone.. Not Much of an Experience!

...-Getting There- Getting to the Britain at War Experience could not be easier. If you get off of the tube at London Bridge you turn right and walk up the street. It will be on your right, further up the street than the London Dungeons. When we approached the Britain at War Experience I noticed that there wasn't a queue and at first I thought that it was closed...it wasn't closed, it appears that it's just unpopular and if my experience is anything to go on I'm not surprised! -Admission- An adult ticket to the Britain at War Experience will cost you £11.45. Last admissions are at 5pm and they close at 5.30pm. -The Video- The first part of the "experience" was watching a video. I found the video to be quite boring. I can't even remember now exactly what was said in the video. The only thing that stands out in my mind...
