Advantages: Brilliant album, takes you on the Foo Fighter Journey of discovery
Disadvantages: One or two weaker songs

...As Foo Fighter are one of my favourite bands and I've even gotten to see them live at Pukkelpop 2003, I thought I was about time I reviewed all their albums, starting with this one. Although this is not the Foo Fighter's first album and isn't as popular as the other albums, it shows the variety that they can actually play and won over a lot the sceptics on whether the Foo Fighter were just another Rock Band. Advantages: Game Characters brought to life
Disadvantages: predictable plot, Not for everyone

...Street Fighter II: The Animated Movie is one of my favourite animated movies partly because I like martial arts, fighting and the like. As many of you will have realised already that it is based on the mega popular Capcom video game where characters fight one-on-one in the street using various styles of fighting with all sorts of special techniques, some even involving shooting fireballs and other impossible-to-do-in-real-life moves. The movie was released by Manga Entertainment. STORY The movie begins on a dark stormy night where we see two fighters fighting. These fighters are Ryu and Sagat. Both characters struggle and we see Ryu unleash his Hadouken where he fires a huge fireball from the palm of his hands after charging it up, that's where the title of the movie appears. Advantages: PS3 HD, Amazing Graphics, Offensive Moves & 2 New Fighters
Disadvantages: No Online Play

...Virtua Fighter 5 on the PS3 is the latest in the Virtua Fighter series. I've always been a fan of the Virtua fighter games. I played the first Virtua Fighter game on the PC when it was first released and loved the 3D fighting aspect of the game. Virtua Fighter 5 follows the same scenario with a much improved overall package. Before even playing the game I had a feeling this would be good as it's on the PS3. The game has 17 fighters which include characters from the previous Virtua Fighters and includes two new characters, El Blaze and Eileen. El Blaze is Mexican and a fighting champion he is quick and has a sort of Mexican wresting fighting style. Eileen is from China and has a Monkey Kung Fu style of fighting. Advantages: There are no decent alternatives on the PSP
Disadvantages: It's a bit old hat

...This is a game that just keeps on coming back. Nearly ten years old now, it's been repackaged onto another new console and set amongst the pigeons one more time. With new features! With new characters! Yeah, yeah. With this game already worn out on various other formats, including the PS1, PS2 and Gameboy Advance, it's practically a retro title. This is all fine and acceptable, retro revival is all the rage, but is it worth shelling out for a new PSP game for a repeat of Street Fighter action? The game itself is one of the highest points of Street Fighter evolution (alongside Street Fighter III: Third Strike and Capcom Vs. SNK 2, which are the best titles in the series to date). Advantages: Very energetic, and lively with a lot of action packed fighting!

...Well here we are again, another Street Fighter Game..............Wahhh it's brilliant, just play it. Street Fighter Alpha 3, there are tons of new characters, about 35-40 all together. There are tons of new moves, even more amazing than usual. The modes have been improved greatly and the new characters are just too funny aswell as having new looks. The good old characters are there with the nice Super moves and the Special finisher moves. You can choose from 3 fighting modes which are the different styles of using your finisher. They call them Ism's. The 3 Ism's are X, A and V. And they each have different styles and can cause a good deal of damage when playing against someone or the computer. Advantages: errrm its street fighter?
Disadvantages: its the 50th street fighter

...I remember the first time I played Street Fighter II. I waltzed into my local Blockbuster and said "gimme somma that there Street Fighter", and then played until I could no longer hold the controller. Little did I suspect that nine years later Capcom would still be cranking out new Street Fighter titles. For the EX series, Capcom has handed over the reins to Akira, a developer that consists largely of ex-Capcom and Square employees. How do they handle the series? Let's put it this way; they haven't done anything innovative enough to mess it up. I'm going to be honest here; I'm tired of the Street Fighter series. Capcom has milked this franchise in ways I never though possible. Making sequels is fine, but making sequels that play just like its predecessors is not.
