My DVD came free with the Times, I watched before doing a little research and was later surprised at the significance of its content. Filming on location in China, Bertolucci and producer Jeremy Thomas were the first western film - makers to be allowed access to hitherto forbidden locations. I LOVE Emperor's New Groove!

...The Emperor's New Groove is one of my favourite films to watch when I'm in the mood for a feel good, easy to watch film. This film is made by Disney and was released in 2001 in the UK Story ------- Kuzco is a young self centred emperor ruling his empire selfishly with nobodies well being in mind, except his own. The life and death of Qin Shihuangdi

Advantages: An amazing opportunity to view artefacts from the tomb of China's First Emperor.
Disadvantages: Limited amount of artefacts. The crowds!!!!

A Greater Legacy

...The eponymous 'first emperor' is Ying Zheng, - first in the sense that he was the first to unify the vast area that came to form the basis of modern China (whose very name derives from his original kingdom at the centre of it Qin - pronounced 'chin') - first also in the sense of foremost, first and uppermost, which was how he saw himself: as illustrated in his adoption of the religious title Qin Shighuangdi (First August Thearch of Qin) - to be echoed perhaps unwittingly a thousand or so years later in the title of the Holy Roman Emperor one wonders? Ask anyone at random on the street about Ying Zheng or Qin Shighuangdi and as amusing as the responses are likely to be, you will almost certainly not get a very high hit rate in terms of accuracy (unless of course you are in Great Russell Street in London, home of the British Museum...

The Emperor is Groovy!

Advantages: Fabulous characters and soundtrack
Disadvantages: A fairly weak storyline by Disney standards

...I went to see 'The Emperor's New Groove,' at the cinema when it first came out. Although I was not blown away in the same way I was with 'The Lion King,' or 'Lilo and Stitch,' I did leave the cinema feeling as though I had enjoyed myself. Not enough, however, to purchase the original DVD release. When the collector's edition came how, though, I just had to have it. As I die-hard Disney fanatic I would have been a cardinal sin not to. I purchased my copy for £17.99 from Music Zone, which was the cheapest I could find it around. It did go right up to £23.99. As is has been a while since its release, you can get it much cheaper now. The story itself was not excellent, but the characters were fabulous. Disney never fail to deliver in this aspect of their animated film production. Emperor Kuzco, voiced by David Spades is a spoilt...

First Instinct

Advantages: Gripping
Disadvantages: A few minor things but nothing major

...at first appears or perhaps it's just that this is a romance novel so you expect the characters to be less flawed than your average person. Whatever it is it works and I loved both characters. What I did like about the characters were that they were both so feminine in their way. I hate reading lesbian romance novels where one of the characters may as well be a man and where if it wasn't for the sex scenes you could forget that you were reading about two women. -General Opinion- I've read a few lesbian romance novels and was about to give up on them. Generally they're not as well written as other novels and I have a theory that lack of competition in the lesbian market means that the quality of the novels is quite poor. OK. tp do a large range of climbing frames, trampolines and all manner of accessories for keeping kids amused in the garden. They have a great full colour catalogue which covers everything in detail with sizes, part numbers and recommendations. Having decided to buy a trampoline, tp was our first port of call having already bought one of their climbing frames and been impressed by the ease of build and general quality. We picked up a catalogue from John Lewis/Waitrose and after checking sizes, placed an order for a medium sized one which arrived a few days later. Putting it together is very straightforward. First Defence - it really works!?

Advantages: does what it says on the tin
Disadvantages: Hurts if you administer it wrong!

..."First defence" is an interesting concept. A nasal spray that is meant to keep colds at bay. How could that work? There is no cure for the common cold, so logically you can't prevent it either. Other than by eating healthy and staying inside and never having contact with other human beings. But alas, I'm not a hermit, neither are you either in all probability. I'll admit, this another one of those products my wife had bought and stuffed in the cupboard and I didn't even know we had. She likes doing things like that.
