...Wheel of fortune, presented by John Leslie and and Jenny Powell. At the moment as they've had so many people presenting, it's not surprising who'd want to be Mr Fortune Wheel? The big, multicolour wheel has all different amounts of money shown on it in different segments. These range from about £100 to £1000. However it also includes miss a turn and bankrupt segments. How tacky! The task of the three contestants is to spin the wheel. Then choose a letter apart from vowels to try and solve the puzzle. If the wheel had landed on £200, if they had chosen letter S for sugar then they'd gain £200 for every S in the puzzle. But they can become bankrupt at anytime. This game, the height of excitement! As if! Once the puzzle is solved they can then choose a prize from the stage which is presented by some other idiot on the show... Read review

...When I played Soldier of fortune 1 a while back (around 2 years ago), I was impressed with the graphics and game play it had to offer, Of course, 2 years later the standards for computer gaming have and will continue to rise; so now that I look back on Soldier of fortune 1 I am hardly far from descusted, maybe I was naive to think that this is as good as it gets. Anyway, with the arrival of Soldier Of Fortune Double Helix, my entier negative opinion and doubt of "Raven Games" has been washed clean and replaced with the knowledge that Raven Games can really produce some stunning work! Soldier of fortune 2 boasts some really high quality graphics, exiting and exilerating game play with realistic sound affects, while at the same time providing you with an interesting storyline to keep you motivated and stuck at your computer screen... Advantages: Very Funny
Disadvantages: Some of the jokes are a bit long winded, and difficult to understand.

...Having went and seen this Sunday's show being filmed live at Wembley Park's Fountain Studio's (Same Venue as none other than the X Factor), i had a mixed feeling regarding the show having watched it live. The show is in its 5th series and is a comedy production. Rory Bremner a more than famous impersenator and comedian. The show is supported by double act sketches from John Bird and Fortune. The audience was told by Bremner himself, that the script for the show is effectively done at short notice in often a day or two. Friday evenings audience participation is the laughter that is heard in the show broadcasted on Channel 4. In terms of laughter I find that on a political nature there are no comparisons. Perhaps there is "Have I got news for you". Though for originality and fast moving sketches and stand up political... Read review

...Soldier of Fortune has to be one of the bloodiest, goriest games ever by anyone’s standards, but it’s great! When I bought this game, I thought that it would be a little better than your run of the mill first person shooter. No wonder it’s hard to find a copy in the game shops! For those of you who haven’t played Soldier of Fortune, run out and buy it now. The weapons are mostly realistic with a few made-up guns thrown in for your total enjoyment. Burning people with a flame-thrower and watching them squirm and scream has got to make you laugh in this game, because it looks so funny. Seriously though, if you use a .44 magnum and shoot someone in the head, it will virtually take his or her head off! The enemy reacts to the bullets as you pump them full of lead, they wobble like a bowl of wobbly jelly... Read review

...plastic. I was clueless. I flipped over the case, my eyes lighting up the second I saw what I had clutched in front of me. Yes, it was none other than the brand new, Vernon Kay's 3rd edition DVD of the hit TV Game show, 'Family Fortunes'! Package Of course, when sitting on a shelf, presentation is very important for DVDs of any form or genre; they must stand out amongst the rest. The base of this DVD is a fading bright orange shade, most certainly eye-catching and attractive! In the centre, there is a headshot picture of Vernon Kay, game show host. Grinning from ear to ear, he makes the DVD look very fun and welcoming! Above his head is the new Family Fortunes logo, hovering slightly to make it look like his oversized halo (Vernon - an angel?!). ...This book was one of many I read recently on my holiday so I thought I would write a review on it. Anita Shreve a former school teacher is an American author and has written several books including The Pilots wife, Resistance, Strange Fits of Passion and Eden Close. Most of her novels are set in America and usually centre around a main female character. Some of her novels including Fortunes Rocks are set in the past and Anita Shreve goes to considerable lengths to ensure they tie in accurately with the history of that time. She has a very descriptive style of writing, setting the scene so clearly that the reader really feels they are there with the character. Fortunes Rocks is set in 1899 and centres around the main character a 15 year old girl called Olympia Biddeford. Olympia and her parents have left Boston for the summer... Read review

...Family Fortunes……….Great Little Show. Ok, hands up who likes the game show Family Fortunes, I hope a lot of you have your hands up because I just love the show. So we have Les Dennis who hosts the show, poor old Les who is married to Amanda Holden. I know she is a great looking girl but I seen her being interviewed on television one night and she gives a whole new meaning to the word “Bimbo”, plus she cheated on poor old Les… Anyway the show consists of two sets of families, each with five members to a team. Now to get on Family Fortunes you need to have a real stupid sounding family name like “Allcock” or the “Dire” family so that Les can repeat the same silly joke all night. Next thing required to be on the show is the family must contain at least two members... Read review
