...INTRO: I refer to My review of Command and Conquer Generals, there I stated that Generals was a flawed gem, a game capable of being the best strategy game of the year, period. However it was bogged down with technical problems and a somewhat bad single player option. Now heres where Zero hour comes into it because Zero hour is everything Generals should have been and much, much more. Firstly theres the much improved interface, there are now superweapon limit options and money options, these add variety to the play, there are also minor additions that you may not notice short term but are a great improvement in the long run. GRAPHICS: The graphics in Zero Hour have not much changed from the original, theyre still gorgeous and spectacular, in fact there some improvements, but none that are incredibly significant... ...INTRO: It took long enough but it finally happened, the Command and Conquer series, spanning 9 years already and topping the pc game charts in 1996 with Red Alert has gone 3d. But this isnt the rushed kind of 3d which is merely an improvement over the previous game, no the differences between the previous c&c(red alert 2) and this game are huge. First of all the game is 3d, but it has embraced 3d and special effects with an unprecedented bear hug bringing us a stunning game engine which has the capability to produce some stunning effects. Secondly the whole Command and conquer interface which has been there from the beginning has gone, there is no longer any sidebar, units are no longer queued in war factories, you can now have as many as you want. ...If you thought Red Alert 2 was good, then I recomend you play this excellent game. Since playing the original Red Alert on Playstation, I have been a Command and Conquer fan. It really took hold when I eventually got around to owning Red Alert 2 on PC. Generals is in a sense an updated version of the Red Alert series (unlike tiberian series of games, too futuristic for me!). The graphics are better, the gameplay is better and yet it has not lost the Command and Conquer feel. It has retained some of the better qualities of Red Alert 2 such as the ranking/ veteran system, coupling this with the much improved graphics, new units and updated story ( it has moved away from Russia vs USA cold war type) combines for hours of fun. ...My husband became self-employed about 8 years ago and with the onset of him going it alone, this meant that we would loose the H.S.A. cover his employer gave him. ...This is the latest installment of the CnC series. It didn't seem so long a go that i was playing the original game...how time fly's by. I have to say that of all of the CnC series i utlerly enjoyed playing on this one the best. Unlike the previous games in the series, CnC Generals have adopted a whole new look. By making full use of a brilliant 3d engion and updating the graphics this is an already massive hit. Set in the not to distant future CnC Generals allows you to pick 1 of 3 allegencies, weather it be the Americans, china of the Gla (a large group of international terroists) that take your fancy you are sure to be subdued by the addictive nature of this game. At the start of the game the first few missions are trainers. These prepare you for raging battles against enemy forces which have, in some way, shape, or form... Read review

...Having made a hash of slotting my two last reviews into the right category, I found this no easier. I just want to talk about wine in Turkey - in general - and if you are contemplating a holiday there for the first time - what you might expect to buy. Firstly I went to Bodrum on a sailing holiday in October 2006 and had a fantastic holiday, sailing out of Bodrum, which is absolutely gorgeous - a gem in fact, with such friendly people. I actually didn't want to go, having worked in Turkey near the Iraq border twice before.How wise I was not to refuse to go (which was on my mind) "Toursit" Turkey is like that however, but wine is not available in general off the beaten track. ...there is alot of stratergy but you need to have a vague plan in your head and a few tricks up up your sleve to make it and interesting game b ut the more fun way is where you just have all out war. Yee you have to have windows XP because there is an add on for C&C Generals which is called C&C Zero Hour where you get better units ect and you may need a fair bit of memory to run the game and a good graphics card and if you have all that good on you and i hope you enjoy the game.
