...The Site Purple Pink and Red is an excellent site for usual, but not tacky, generally inexpensive gifts and gift sets that took all the hassle out of buying a gift for a woman - and gift wrapping was free! I did see some gifts for men as well, but in this case it was perfect for buying a present for my mother. The problem is that, like most men, I am not very good at buying gifts, I'm even worse at buying gifts for women and am at my worst buying a gift for my mother (gadgets wholly inappropriate!). I have used the Thorntons site for ordering birthday and christmas gifts and have been delighted with the range on offer. ...Ipoints is the only 'earn points' company worth joining. It is very easy to claim your just first gift. Earn 10 points and claim a ticket for five people to go to france. To earn 10 points it will probably take you less then 2 minutes answering a survey. I think if you want to claim other gifts is it quite hard to do so. The points score rise quite quickly so the next gift requires a lot more than 70 points, which is a gift voucher. if you refer your friends you can earn additional points.... Read review

...Marville direct sells gifts, flowers and gadgets etc, and I stumbled upon it while looking for interesting products for my mum. I found a "Wide-mouth Billy Bass" (£25) for her, which is a fish on a plaque which sings and opens and closes its mouth and turns around to look at you when it detects movement ("Don't worry - be happy" and "Take me to the river". It arrived (free p&p) three days later in perfect condition, and I was thoroughly satisfied. I would definitely use this product again to find interesting gifts, and recomment it to anyone.... A friend of mine had actually recommended the Sky Open interative version of the store, but I thought I would check out the website too. There was a bigger selection there and a great range of 'not just a box of chocolates' gifts, such as chocolate scented candles and t-shirts.
