The Golden Age Of Brilliance
Review of Golden Age Of Grotesque, The [PA] - Marilyn Manson by
ghost_w1
Advantages: No fillers
Disadvantages: Absolutely Nothing
...This is the album that introduced me to Marilyn Manson and i can still remember the feeling that it gave me when i first listened to it. I had heard nothing like it before, the driving force of the music and lyrics combined entranced me for an hour. From This Is The New *hit, a brilliant techno, thrash triumph that builds throughout the verses to a crashing empowering chorus to mOBSCENE, the lead single from the album with its disco thumping rock beats. Doll Dagga Buzz Buzz Ziggety Zag brings us a swing inspired 4 minute rock romp whilst the next track Use Your Fist And Not Your Mouth is an angry fist throwing in the air inducing stomp!
The Golden Age of Grotesque takes it's place next in the tracklisting next with it's incredibly odd music style which includes a burning piano being played by manson himself. The controversial (s...

The Golden Age Of Grotesque
Review of Golden Age Of Grotesque, The [PA] - Marilyn Manson by
TaraLothian
Advantages: It hosts some classic manson songs, it has some great playing
Disadvantages: A lot of fillers, seems a bit preoccupied in trying to achive the shock factor
....
The first main song on the album (not including the short opening track at the start which can’t really be classed as a song) is “This Is The New Shit”. This song is very strange, in the way that it seems to almost be a parody of himself. Not a very strong point to get going on, in my opinion. Although it is saved by the next song, the sublime “mObscene”.
mObscene is the song that really got me interested in Marilyn Manson. It’s a classic rock song. That’s the thing about Manson, the music he plays isn’t really goth. It’s more hard rock for people with strong opinions or who want to seem like they do. This song has some very clever lyrics and is just brilliant.
The Golden Age Of Grotesque, the track is the album is named after, is the 6th song on the CD. At first, I thought it was, well, rubbish. But when I really got into it, I realized...

Golden Sun; The Lost Age Rules the Roost
Review of Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age (GBA) by
nollie99
Advantages: Very kool graphics, very long gameplay, sleek sounds, great gameplay
Disadvantages: None
...The Lost Age
I bought this game as soon as it came out, last year, after only just completing the magnificent GS1. This game is amazing, here's my review;
Graphics: Stunning, this is the first GBA game whos graphics don't make me want to return the game after playing it for 2 minutes, the battle seens are nicely done. There are effects that are quite impressive for example, if you run, felix' coat flusters in the wind, if you stand behind a block of ice, you can see your distorted image on the screen, little things that make oyu proud of owning Golden Sun 2.
Audio/Sound: The audio of battling can get on your nerves, but I'm not going to nag about that when everything is is beautiful. There's a different tune everywhere you go, the BGM in one town might be happy and cheerful, while in the other, sad and grey.
Gameplay...

Golden Sun = Golden Game
Review of Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age (GBA) by
JcMullaney
Advantages: Nearly -Everything-
Disadvantages: Random battles and Sounds can get annoying, also long talk scenes.
...Golden Sun: The Lost Age (GBA) was a long awaited sequel to the smashing success that boosted standards for all handheld RPGs, Golden Sun.
Golden Sun TLA is set after Golden Sun 1 (in Weyard), apart from you control Felix, seeing what happens after the splitting of Venus Lighthouse. Eventually later ingame you might up with Isaac's crew and use them for battles and extra Djiins.
[Backround Information]
In Golden Sun, Isaac and friends set off to stop Satouros and Menardi from lighting all four elemental lighthouses, or the world will end. They manage to light 2 of the lighthoues but end up getting killed. The lit Venus lighthouse causes and island (where Gemma, Sheeba, Felix, Krade and Alex just so happen to be) to drift away onto another continent. Golden Sun TLA follows Felix's story of lighting the lighthouses.

Golden RPG Again
Review of Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age (GBA) by
flint
Advantages: You get to control a boat
Disadvantages: hard
...‘Alchemy- the power to manipulate the building blocks of reality-Has been sealed away for generations. This ancient science has been hidden deep within Sol Sanctum and protected by the small village of Vale. Which lies at the foot of Mt Aleph, home to Sol Sanctum. Now however, the seal has been broken, and the Elemental stars, the jewels that channel the power of alchemy, have been stolen.
Stories tell that the master of alchemy knows no limits to his power and can attain everything his heart desires. Using the four jewels, you are trying to light the elemental lighthouses and release the power of alchemy upon the world of Weyard!’
Golden Sun 2 the Lost Age is an RPG (role-playing game). It has an excellent story along with excellent graphics. Those that have played the first game will know the story but for those that haven’t played...

Lose yourself in this age
Review of Golden Sun 2: The Lost Age (GBA) by
cranefly
Advantages: Good, long lasting game
Disadvantages: Too many random battles
...In my opinion, this is probably one of the greatest games so far for the Gameboy Advance system. Not only are the graphics and music great, but the game’s concept and storyline is something to truly admire. Such depth and quality to story, character development and interesting worlds is something that is not often seen in video games.
Golden Sun: The Lost Age, is a sequel to the original Golden Sun game which was a brilliant game in its own rights, the slight problem with the first game in my opinion was that it was too short. The Lost Age remedies this, not only has it got much more play time than the original game, the world is a lot richer, more varied and a lot larger.
The Story
If you are new to Golden Sun, and have not played the first game, then there is no need to panic because this game is perfect for new...
