Advantages: Stunning views, cheap entry price

Review of Grand Canyon (Arizona)

Stay right at the rim of the Grand Canyon

Advantages: As close as you can get to the Grand Canyon rim
Disadvantages: Accommodation and food is pretty average for the price you pay

...and then we decided against this. All in all I would recommend the Bright Angel as it is the original lodge and by far the closest to the rim. The cost of accommodation is reasonable but the standard is basic and remember to book ahead as it does get busy at holiday times especially. Thanks for reading. Lodge Life at the Grand Canyon

Advantages: In the park, budget
Disadvantages: Not luxurious

...We stayed in Maswik Lodge as part of our road trip around America's canyon area. The lodge is the cheapest of the five or so accommodation options within Grand Canyon National Park.
