Well written, great locations, intriguing plot

.... This story is recounted to a young write (Jude Law) by the Lobby Boy, who is now the owner of the Grand Budapest and how and why he became the owner. The story is amazing and full of interesting stories and when you find out at the end why he owners a run down hotel. We're even treated several cameos, most notably by Bill Murray (who is very picky with the films he stars in, so it's a delight to see...

...Possibly the key to maxing out your pleasure from 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' comes from Wes Anderson's [director] citing of the writer Stefan Zweig's as an inspiration for it. In Zweig's memoir, 'The World of Yesterday' [1942, the year of Zweig's suicide in Brazil] he is mourning a world which has totally been lost, with the rise of the Nazis.
